you can tell that paxton was heartbroken when devi cheated. i think devi brought out the good side of paxton and he actually caught real and raw feelings for her. Even when she was doing his work for him you can tell by his facial expressions that he wanted to be with her and that he was hurt. He even wanted to stand up for devi when his friends called her crazy but he was scared. we can tell he was hurt and that devi was special to him. I also feel that devi is so different from other people in paxtons past dating life that he knew she was special and irreplaceable.

at the end of season 1, I wanted Ben and Devi to be together. I didn’t like Paxton that much but after watching season 2, I honestly think that Devi changed Paxton. Ben has a girlfriend now, so I think it’s best that Paxton and Devi stay together.
but once Eleanor told him that it’s always been him i think he changed his mind. his face says it all, i think he’s still in love with her he just doesn’t want to admit it
same...even i was team ben...but I eventually became team paxton..but at the last episode where Devi and Ben talked...the way they looked at each other...i was like oh shit no not again...n then the climax cleared it all that yes Ben still has feelings for Devi...n I can't wait for season 3😛

Ben definitely hasn't moved on. I think he realized that he missed Devi when they were doing the project with Aneesa and Aneesa forget the order of the cards making them lose the court debate thing. Ben looked so disappointed and then realized Aneesa doesn't get him like Devi does. Then in the bathroom scene when devi was crying after Paxton rejected her, Ben was so passionate and upset when he said that Paxton doesn't deserve her,and the prom scene with Elaneor was the last straw. There is a very high probability that this love triangle isn't over.
I didn’t like Devi last season but this season some of those things she did are just unforgettable, I don’t think Devi deserves Ben right now. And I’m honestly happy for him to be with Aneesa at this point in time, maybe in the future if Devi develops

Maybe it's just me but I like devi😅I could tell she developed a bit more this season and learned from her mistakes with the help of her therapist. Although she's done dumb stuff she lost her father not so long ago and hasn't been the same since. Hopefully she'll be good as new next season🤞

honestly this season was look a hot mess like it was good but it was all so confusing at the same time. in season 1 I was a ben and Devi Stan but like bens character was horrible in this season and we were able to see Paxton's true and changing side so at this point I'm sticking with Devi and Paxton.
Same here . I was paxton and devi stan,though I am happy abt the ending but I feel like this season was total mess in terms of writing. Especially Devi’s character was sooo unstable,not making any clear point. I felt all the characters were not going on a steady graph including paxton who was the only who actually had great development this season. Still making him unclear abt his decision till the last just to make the ending spicy was not good at all, that moment when he first came through her window was magical and they shd have kept that magic just like that but again they kept twisting. The writers really need a break

Uhmm… When Devi got bit by a coyote, Paxton took her to the hospital. He also stayed with her. When Devi fell in the pool, he helped her again and gave her a ride home. Ben on the other hand was just staring. He can’t even make the excuse that Devi and him aren’t friends. Paxton did all of that while him and Devi aren’t in good terms. Also, in season 2, when Devi was crying on the way home, he was also there for her.

I still think Ben and Devi make a better match. This season really had me feeling more of the love for Paxton and Devi though. Here's how I see the love triangle Ben's feelings for Devi are stronger than Paxton's cause he seemed way more hurt "emotionally" (🚗) after the cheating and breakup. Devi likes Paxton more made evident by her chasing after Paxton at the party. Devi being jealous of Ben and Aneesa honestly I had trouble buying that had anything to do with her feelings for Ben, it felt more like she was threatened by Aneesa and weirdly possessive of Ben but not heartbroken seeing him with someone else. Paxton likes Devi because she makes him a better person which makes you want to root for them but Devi feelings for Paxton still seem shallow liking him for being hot and popular. Devi has chemistry with both and even if Devi and Paxton are together for now, Ben and Devi to me make a better fit.

I think she just went after Paxton because Ben just told him the truth. And she already messed up with Paxton in s01. Also Ben didn't listen her and went to Paxton, so she thought that Ben needs time before talk. But later in the season she clearly priorities Ben's problem before Paxton's.
Ugh that "nerdy girl makes a popular jock a better person" trope is sooo old and tired though. I mean, cool that he's getting better at school and stuff, but have they ever even had a deep conversation? Because from where I'm standing , every time something serious was happening, she was talking to Ben and not Paxton. I think Devi just needs to get the "dating the hot popular guy" desire out of her system until she realizes that what she really needs in a relationship is what only Ben can give her.
My pov, it boils down to someone you want vs. someone who wants you. Paxton has the advantage as Devi's crush from 3rd grade. But Devi was shaken by Ben, she hesitates to choose Paxton straight away because of the potential. (Which lead to unwise decision of dating both at the same time)
After the cheating incident, Paxton said to Devi "we'll never work out", he closed the door, limiting their relationship to tutor/friends.
Devi realizing what she's missing with Ben, overlapped with her jealousy to Aneesa. The banter was their thing, Ben was ready to all in.
Both men had seen Devi crying at different occasions, but dealt with it differently. Paxton respects her, not saying anything and just helps drive her home. While Ben always speaks rationally to her when her emotions overflowed and make Devi realize her worth.
It's hard to choose, both had pros and cons. Devi needs to be more mature and have more experiences to know what she really wants and which pairing will work out best. So I'll just take it as the story goes.
When she spends all that time being jealous about Aneesa and Ben during the charity event instead of helping Paxton study...she clearly prioritized Ben and that situation over Paxton. If it was always about Paxton, she would have spent time with him and helped him study.
I understand why Ben is hurt because it appeared that Devi was rekindling things with Paxton immediately. Ben thought he lost before it even started. If he had thought he could still be with Devi after the fact, maybe he would not have been so rude or mean. He was well within his right to be mean though.
I think it is interesting both guys are insecure about the situation. Ben is insecure when it comes to Paxton and his looks/popularity. He assumed that Devi wanted Paxton more immediately. Paxton is insecure about his academics and Ben Gross has what he lacks.
Ben's always been there for her, but she didn't call, he deserves better

Sometimes you know the truth too late and you realize that you missed someone precious to you.... in the last scene i saw Ben's gaze to D&P was full of sadness and regret... i feel so bad for Ben but also feel happy for our main couple.^^

If she ends up getting back together with Ben (in s3 if they have one), I feel like Paxton would NEVER want to talk to her again. I mean it would be hard for him to see her with another guy that happens to be who she cheated on him with before. She also has very forgivable friends.

The thing is I really do believe Devi truly loves Ben. From the start Paxton was just really hot and thats initially why Devi fell for him. Paxton may be hot but he treated Devi so badly, and Ben was always there to remind her she deserved so much better. While I do acknowledge that Paxton has had quite alot of character development.. who are we kidding? This is the age old story where nerdy girl falls for school jock, then he changes into an actually decent person, and they get together- except one thing, this plot line goes more like childhood friend/enemy that girl has extreme chemistry with, and the school jock. girl gets with the jock for the wrong reasons, but the jock actually falls for her. Girl realizes she's in love with childhood friend. This is the story people. I will be seriously surprised if Ben/Devi is not endgame.

SEASON 3 BETTER HAVE DEVI AND BEN TOGETHER
Just like Stefan Salvatore once said " I think Damon needs Elena more than I do" The same thing is with Paxton and Devi. Yeah, Ben and Devi are really pure together, but in the end of the day Paxton needs Devi much more than Ben does.

Season 2 was funny and enjoyable.... but I just couldn't digest the fact that devi was two-timing both guys..... yuck.... I feel no amount of reparations done by devi subsequently would fix the damage done.... if tomorrow paxton cheats on her or ben hurts her, they would look justified in front of the audience.... it would only seem devi totally deserved it.... two-timing was such a bad idea.....
