i'm team ben, devi just like paxton for his looks/body. what did paxton really do for her except for the dance even that is after paxton realized after the text he received . but ben gave devi the support she needed. they make each other happy just by being themselves. from the relationship between pax n devi, devi is a giver but pax is a taker which i think is a little toxic. i think season 3 will start with ben take devi and kiss her.. hahah i don't know
I'm team Ben too, but Paxton did do a lot for her. He's the reason Devi's legs worked again, he helped her out of the pool and was the first to run to her aid and take her to the hospital when she got bit by the coyote. In the hospital, when she confided in him about thinking the coyote was her dad, he actually understood her and didn't shrug it off or belittle her for it. He even said he thought of her craziness in a good way, which shows he was a really good friend to her. He never made Devi feel inferior to him because of the fact that he was a cool jock and she was an unpopular nerd. He never put her down for standing up for herself and asking for a proper date and stuff which is more than his other girlfriends have asked for, instead he actually tried to better himself for her. All he asked for in return was for Devi to stay loyal to him which she didn't.
However, Ben and Devi are still better because in their case, they both push each other to be better and they're like the ultimate power couple. They have healthy competition and actually try to be better people for each other. With Paxton, he tried to be a better person to win over Devi, but Devi tried to act like one of those popular chicks who lack personality in order to win over Paxton. Devi's weakness is that she often loses herself while trying to fit in with the popular crowd. Ben is the one who always brings her back around and reminds her what her ideals really are- I mean, her therapist does that too, but other than that it's Ben- and he's the one who helps her with the things that matter. So Ben and Devi are better, but not for any fault of Paxton's. Paxton has always been a very good friend to her, but not such a good boyfriend. Ben, on the other hand, can be both.
I'M CRYING- This is literally amazing
In season 3 I think Paxton will go to college and he will either cheat on her or Do something that will hurt her and Ben will finally realize his feelings for Devi and he will leave aneissa & then Ben and Devi start being close again and she realizes she is in Love with Ben! But has only Sexual Attraction to Paxton but she will end up Dating Ben!
