it's honestly crazy the empathy ben has considering his childhood. he never got the sense of real love and caring but he shows it to devi so naturally. he has so many reasons to hate devi but he always forgave her and made sure she knew he was there for her. even if it wasn't mutual.
he was never really there for her tho except when he took her to Malibu. He doesn't listen to her side of the story when the rumor about Aneesa starts going around and he always just watches instead of intervening. I feel like Ben is only attracted to Devi because she is doing well academically. Devi has a soft spot for Ben but he fails to show her that and isn't loyal to her at all. He only gets jealous when he sees her with Paxton.

I don't know why people keep forgetting the way Ben told Devi that he was "all in" and then she ended up breaking his heart. I think his anger was totally justified since he actually cared. It's so obvious that Ben and Devi are endgame. Season one ended with them kissing and season two ended with Ben realizing she had feeling for him the whole time. She's always had a deeper connection with Ben. They opened up to each other abt their family issues and have a lot more common interests. Paxton has given her mixed signals and publicly embarrassed her the whole show while Ben made it clear he was all in. Also the fact that the show even says that she only cares about Paxtons looks an popularity is a big sign that they're not endgame. For season 3 I predict aneesa and Ben breaking up and Ben getting with Devi.
Tbh ben and devi are better off as freinds paxton and devi were opposites but it's what complemented each other they were like a dynamic duo ben and devi were in constant rivalry and just seeing them in a relationship was kinda strange for me personally
The relationship between Paxton and Devi seems like it’s only surface level and not much deeper than that. Their relationship seems to be much more about kissing and making out instead of their expressing emotions and showing their genuine feelings. Paxton is so cold and distant still just because he had enough balls to show up to a dance doesn’t immediately mean he’s the picture perfect guy if he becomes less of a distance person and actually starts opening up a lil bit more to Devi and isn’t afraid to actually show her off than I’ll start shipping them but haven’t you noticed even in season one he’s been ashamed to be seen around her even before the whole two timing incident. 👀

But she never truly knew Paxton, only just the idea of getting with the popular guy and her achieving being popular in highschool which is wht she focused on in s1 and s2. Whereas in s3 where we can all see she’s matured, she ended up choosing Ben anyways. We saw she was never secure or comfortable to be herself in her relationship with Paxton. But Paxton gave her his attention from day one, when baby girl asked him for sex. He could have not entertained her or talked to her, but he did. Such a great video! Originally I was team Paxton BUT after seeing this video I believe Bens a better match. With Paxton, Devi idealized him and is there’s just sexual desire and no substance other than she helping him find his confidence in academics and with Ben there’s friendship, they challenge each other to be better, they connect on a more deeper level and help each other with family challenges and he supported her when she had a huge fall out with her mom and friends and went above and beyond for her to mend those friend ships.

Ben has another level of sensitivity because of the rejection he’s always had from his parents that’s why when Devi ran off after Paxton at the party he felt that rejection all over again and tried to move on with Aneesa, he never lost feelings for Devi but he couldn’t trust her not to hurt him again🥺 not to mention he pushed her to rebuild her relationship with her mother because he knows the importance of family and doesn’t have it himself😢
As much as I’m enjoying Paxtons character development I’m still more on team Ben, but I feel like the show will end with Devi going out into the world on her own without either, regardless I cannot wait for season 3😍😍

In Malibu, Ben is wearing navy with white polka dot when they kiss. At the dance, Ben is wearing a white with what looks like navy polka dots. Coincidence they are they inverse? 2. It's simply because he didn't feel he was a first choice for Devi. Devi always choose Paxton in front of him. So there was no way he was gonna give her a chance when she's not showing him he's special to her.
I guess because Ben is a teenager as well and has his own insecurities. Ben knows Devi has always liked Paxton and even during their confrontation..she went after Paxton. So he obviously is upset about that and no matter how much they fight he cares about her..and there were so many incidents to prove that.
And even Paxton wasn't ready to give her a second chance...it was because they had the opportunity to spend so much time together and get over it...he ended up together with Devi. Also I think both the guys are kinda envious of each other..like we saw that in case of Paxton a lot in S2...he always looked a little upset whenever he saw Ben doing good academically...and I feel in S3 we might see Ben's side of jealousy for Paxton and even more now that Devi and Paxton are together.

Why do yall feel like Ben was just supposed to forgive and forget so damn quickly? He was the only one really hurt in this. Him ignoring for the most part proved it. Paxton was was still messing with Zoe which is why he forgave her easily. What really made Paxton mad and really made me not like him is the fact that he felt that he was better than Ben and devi. it's honestly crazy the empathy ben has considering his childhood. he never got the sense of real love and caring but he shows it to devi so naturally. he has so many reasons to hate devi but he always forgave her and made sure she knew he was there for her. even if it wasn't mutual.

It's so obvious that Ben and Devi are endgame. Season one ended with them kissing and season two ended with Ben realizing she had feeling for him the whole time. She's always had a deeper connection with Ben. They opened up to each other abt their family issues and have a lot more common interests. Also the fact that the show even says that she only cares about Paxtons looks an popularity is a big sign that they're not endgame. Their relationship seems to be much more about kissing and making out instead of their expressing emotions and showing their genuine feelings. 3. It's already been explained in the end of the season that she has always chosen him. She liked him, way more than Paxton. I believe she STILL likes him more than Paxton, however, now her superficial reasons for liking Paxton has changed since she has seen a different side of him and got to spend more time with him.

1. No, you're wrong. Devi had feelings for Paxton ever since they were kids. It's literally shown in season 2 that she has liked him for a long time.
2. Paxton wanted her for her body? I haven't felt any sort of sexual tension between them. Season 1 as Devi asking him to have sex, he agreed just because. I'd argue the only person who had superficial feelings towards the other was Devi, not Paxton. He was fine with sleeping with her, didn't mean he ONLY wanted her for her body.
3. I'm pretty sure Ben was there at the pool incident, I'm not sure though. My memory's blurry of season 1.

I hate Paxton for humiliating her. He started to love her only for selfish reasons because she made him want to be better. He never loved her for her unlike Ben who was always there. He had genuine feelings and wasn't ashamed of accepting her in public. Paxton did care of her , took her to the hospital after the coyote incident but Ben literally kept his heart open for her. Respected her as she deserved. No matter whatever they do with the characters in Season 3 , BENJAMIN and DEVI will always be ENDGAME for me!

But Paxton gave her his attention from day one, when baby girl asked him for sex. He could have not entertained her or talked to her, but he did. It's simply because he didn't feel he was a first choice for Devi. Devi always choose Paxton in front of him. So there was no way he was gonna give her a chance when she's not showing him he's special to her.
I guess because Ben is a teenager as well and has his own insecurities. Ben knows Devi has always liked Paxton and even during their confrontation..she went after Paxton. So he obviously is upset about that and no matter how much they fight he cares about her..and there were so many incidents to prove that.

i recently saw that videos of paxton and devi have more views but obviously is bc they have been interacting a lot in S2, however i still believe than ben and devi are endgame, also i think he dated anessa only to forgot devi. i love anessa character so it gonna be tough:( , probably in another season they are going to break up not bc i love the ship xd it just a little bit obvious and probably devi are going to end alone buuuut i just wanna see ben and devi one more time PLS, #teamben
I feel like ben and devi’s story is much more interesting and deep than devi and paxton. Devi’s feelings for paxton is just superficial yah know, unlike for ben. So the endgame should he devi and ben! 😍
