I think Paxton loved Devi more than Devi loved him. When he started dating another girl he was so worried about her and always found a reason to talk/ask about her to Ben, Eleanor and Fabiola. He was always watching what she was doing all year long. Devi was distracted by Des but he was paying attention to everything she did. At the hospital he talked to Ben about her he wanted that same connection with Devi. That intelligent connection. He was super jealous of Ben because of that. He was also jealous of the new boyfriend and the stuff she was doing with him. Even when he was with that girl he wanted to do stuff with her that he did with Devi. He unconsciously missed that feeling Devi gave him. She challenged him and he desired that in the new girlfriend but she could never compete to Devi. When he made that speech he made it thinking about her. She was part of that speech. She was a major part of his growth. He was always thinking of her in one way or another. She was his everything and it sucks they didn’t end the season together. I hope Daxton is end game because it would be sad they don’t end up together.

They have both been a necessary rock for each other, and his appreciation for her shows through his actions. Paxton got a lot of hate for being with her, he was also humiliated by her, but he was willing to risk his popularity and friendships for her. He always put her above everyone, he changed for her, he never put her down and he never let her put herself down. There was nothing he wasn't willing to do for her because he valued how positive an impact she had on his life. Be more romantic (check), take it slow (check). Even after they broke up, he was always mindful of her and her feelings. Meanwhile Ben had a girlfriend he two-timed for Devi, then he went with Aneesa (somewhat to spite her) and even though he wanted Devi he never had the balls to risk it all for her. He would probably still be with Aneesa, if Aneesa didn't end it for him. Ben undoubtedly likes her, the ashes thing was absolutely amazing of him, and he has always been in her corner, but none of that strikes me as different from what her friends would do. He has never really sacrificed for Devi or improved for her and all his annoying traits that turned her off are still there. Honestly speaking, Ben is the safe choice. Paxton was right, she didn't rate herself highly enough to see him as more than a fantasy, and because of that she hasn't recognized that s3 Paxton was an amazing partner who had body, brains, a big heart and a great personality and he's still improving.
You are correct but you could see that Ben was truly developing this season as well. He had a whole awakening about what he was doing to himself, how he was acting, and confronted some of his feelings with Devi.
same. for me i didn’t need them to end up together. it was realistic and beautiful. they dated and they both grew from it. paxton loved her and he realized that she made him better. but in the end they knew that while it was a good relationship, they settled as good friends on good terms so paxton could go on to finish his education. everything was tied up and rounded well.

Yeah, I watched the interview where Darren said that. So Devi (and probably at least Trent and Eleanor, but I could see Ben and Fabiola tag along) will likely visit him in Arizona...maybe. at least I hope that will be one episode. I also hope since it technically would be Paxton's season, that he got another Paxton focused episode. Plus I hope they will face-time him a shit ton, now that he is basically friends with everyone. Maybe he is also in one episode where he visits home. I just wish Paxton will be a lot in the next season, I'm already sad thinking about his potential absence. He is my favorite character individually.

This show is brilliant. It’s realistic. It makes sense that Paxton and Devi would never be together long term. Paxton will grow up in college and once Devi gets in she will too. Maybe she will be with Ben but not if they go to separate colleges
paxton and devi are just meant for each other. i knew it since she stood up from her wheel chair just because she was seeing him. they always had a connection that helped them both to grow and be the best person they could be. obviously it wasn’t always easy because their friends, the school and even family effected them a lot but they always challenged each other which wasn’t easy but was what they needed. des showed devi something, ben and her obviously have and had a chemistry going on but no one i‘m telling you has that much of a deep connection, challenging self and amazing chemistry like devi and paxton together. they complete each other in the best possible way. that’s why i‘m hoping from heart that S4 will show their last and forever holding light because these two truly deserve it.

I found Devi's character extremely annoying, she never once considered anyone's feeling. And before I get attacked, my dad died, so if anyone can relate to her character its me. The fact that she made her mom feel guilty for not being the one to pass away, the fact that she always put her friends in situations where they never felt important to her, the fact that Paxton was always second her and the amount of shit she put him through, and it always ended with a half ass apology from her and using her dads death as an excuse. I watched this show because I heard nothing but amazing things about it, and I am invested in the story line which is why I keep watching, but all this edit showed me, it was beautifully done by the way, but all it showed was how right I am about Devi. Loosing a father is a feeling I can't even describe, but it's not a excuse to be a shitty person.

I also believed that from the first episode this serie focused on paxton but suddenly unfortunately writer changes mind and mindy kalling focuses on more to ben :( I think in the first season there was a different plan because rebecca was seen more but in season 3 there is almost no rebecca I wish paxton and devi would end game. ı am Daxton fan since episode 1

I also hope since it technically would be Paxton's season, that he got another Paxton focused episode.
Plus I hope they will face-time him a shit ton, now that he is basically friends with everyone.
Maybe he is also in one episode where he visits home. I just wish Paxton will be a lot in the next season, I'm already sad thinking about his potential absence. He is my favorite character individually.

Well I don't know if it will be a season 4, but it's pretty clear she won't be with Paxton as he is now graduated and gone, and she went to Ben in the end.
The producers said they’ll be filling in new locations for season four and Paxton will be in the show so we actually have a solid chance at Daxton being endgame

Right . I'm like the only reason ppl are so Team Ben is because he was consistent . You could see his feelings all over his giant eyeballs but with Paxton sometimes I couldn't tell. Like I had to really rewatch the season to go oh wait wait he likes her he's just hiding it or playing cool and hes not used to being into someone and making an effort cause even the thing with calling her Lil buddy or pal I'm like what ? And the date with his friends there ..like What are we doing here ? Do u like her or nah ? But then I saw that he acts like he doesn't care when he actually does .like when he was talking to his sister.he didn't think he was smart enough to be with her so he flipped it and made it seem like he's too popular to be with her ..and I ain't even get that till when he said to Ben in season 3 "I used to be jealous because you're smart like she is and that's a connection I could never have " .. I was like wow he's in love with her.

This show is brilliant. It’s realistic. It makes sense that Paxton and Devi would never be together long term. Paxton will grow up in college and once Devi gets in she will too. Maybe she will be with Ben but not if they go to separate colleges
paxton and devi are just meant for each other. i knew it since she stood up from her wheel chair just because she was seeing him. they always had a connection that helped them both to grow and be the best person they could be. obviously it wasn’t always easy because their friends, the school and even family effected them a lot but they always challenged each other which wasn’t easy but was what they needed. des showed devi something, ben and her obviously have and had a chemistry going on but no one i‘m telling you has that much of a deep connection, challenging self and amazing chemistry like devi and paxton together. they complete each other in the best possible way. that’s why i‘m hoping from heart that S4 will show their last and forever holding light because these two truly deserve it.
Personally I am team Ben. But paxtons character has really grown and evolved so much. I love their friendship and I feel like they were good together and I liked their season 3 relationship but I prefer them as friends

I found Devi's character extremely annoying, she never once considered anyone's feeling. And before I get attacked, my dad died, so if anyone can relate to her character its me. The fact that she made her mom feel guilty for not being the one to pass away, the fact that she always put her friends in situations where they never felt important to her, the fact that Paxton was always second her and the amount of shit she put him through, and it always ended with a half ass apology from her and using her dads death as an excuse. I watched this show because I heard nothing but amazing things about it, and I am invested in the story line which is why I keep watching, but all this edit showed me, it was beautifully done by the way, but all it showed was how right I am about Devi. Loosing a father is a feeling I can't even describe, but it's not a excuse to be a shitty person.
