amazing video as always and as always with an unique an non traditional build (non bm slb), have you tried using other pets instead of raven? Like krytan drake hound (a knockdown, 2 leaps) or boar (maul + a knockdown). Also you think entangle is more value than one wolf pack?
@@workingandcommenting Hey man! Apreciate the kind words! As for other pets... Yes, i have tried them all, or almost all. And while it might be the case that for maybe a veeeery small percentage of situations/matchups, some pets might have the upper hand... The Raven does it all with 100% consistency, TLDR: After hours of testing and roaming, I NEVER felt like... ah i wish i had this other pet instead, but when i dont have the raven, this often happens. explanation incoming: 😅 This build has stunlocks, damage, sustain, stability, stealth... But the only thing missing its propper mobility, which the birds do best. Now, there are other pets that give mobility and cc, like some dogs i use in other builds, but its a shorter dash and we also would give up a slow/chill cleanse that gives swiftness for a long time. And the last component its the Prelude Lash, that thing interacts with the build so well offensively and even defensively that its almost criminal not running a pet with one. So yeah, Raven fills the only whole the build has AND adds to both offense and defense in ANY situation/matchup. And thus why i believe it is actually the best and most consistent pet for the build! I hope it helps👍😆
I was really hoping this setup would be good when Janthir came out and I was right! Would you know if there's any potential for a more aggressive merge, or is the defensive power from Smokescale much more effective in outnumbered situations?
@@cynthialush3123 Hey man! 🙌 I have spent SOOO many hours testing different Ferocity merges and none compare to the utility and flexibility that the smokescale gives you in the form of stealth, setup for a free spear net without having to use one of the charges, smokeassault to chase/reposition/dodge key skills... Its just too good. BUT if i had to pick two no matter what... It would be the new pet because mobility + cc + TONS of damage Or the Chak because... Well broken CC that goes really well here. I hope that helps!😁 Instead of a more agressive merge, I am cooking a few more agressive versions of the build and another one potentially after that! Just to have all kind of play-styles available!

I'm coming back after a loooong hiatus looking to get into WvW (focused on arena previously), and outnumbered fights are absolutely my favorite things to do and watch. This build looks surprisingly sustainable despite not having super high defensive stats, which is *really* nice.
great work. i feel like you can use it at zerg too not the best option but if you want to jump quick into a squad and fight and after continue roaming it should be ok.
@@fotis5657 Thanks man! And yes, you can absolutely mix in zergs randomly and go in and out, i do it a lot and feels okay! For Guild/Coordinated/"Serious" Group content however you will be asked for something entirely different for sure😅
