They should wait until they are in the truck to put on the airpack. And they could also finish getting dress in the trucks. Instead of taking 4 minutes
The point is quicker reaction at the scene. You can enter a house immediatly for search and rescue. People in need, maybe unable to get out. There is no time to waste.
dd313car sure, but the packs are build into the seats, you can easily put them on inside the rig, and then they slide right out when you get on scene, they wasted valuable time putting them on in the station when they could’ve put them on in the rig and got moving faster
My Dream is to become an great firefighter!🚒👨🚒

First of all, who puts their pack on before they get in the rig, second, you never wear your helmet in the cab of a rig. Great video of what not to do

To much time to get ready if you can’t put your pack on in the truck then you need to head back to the Academy.

Probably because the rigs are not set up to do it after you get onboard. Today...most apparatus is set up so the backseaters can pack up on the way.

I'm French and in France the firefighters go fast in the truck and not waste time

Why terrible? You do know this was staged and not a real response?
Even more of a reason to do it right. Extra terrible.
