Hello Irena 👋. Sorry I haven't posted a comment in a couple of weeks, I doing a little catching up on the last 2 episodes. I got side tracked by Classic Horror movie's marathons 🤣. Keep up the great work! I always learn so much every single episode! Lots of love and respect to you and your camera person. Stay safe and have fun! 🖖🙄🤘🇨🇦❤️

Hey ASG, I might not always comment but I always watch. I am so pleased the subs and views are rising. YT is a tough gig these days...especially correct ancient history. I can't think of another channel that has worked so hard to put out quality content. I wish you continued success. Much peace to you and amazing camera man.

This episode was really amazing Irena!!
I really love how do you show us places that are hidden jewels from Egypt.
That Sekhmet statue on the chapel is one of my favourites. If I'm not wrong, the statue was destroyed by one of the guardians of the temple some time after it was discovered. As I remember, the guardian thought that the statue was the cause for some diseases in the region and he destroy the Sekhmet statue. Fortunately some time later the statue was restored!
As I said before, amazing chapter! Love your work! ♥

Thanks to the shot at 1:58 , now I finally know from where the Egyptologists got the design for restoration of Taposiris Magna. the 4 corners at the top. I was wondering about that.

Another excellent documentary Irena, narrated beautifully. I loved all the temples, so much art all over them, I bet you never want to leave. I'm so glad the the red granite base dedicated to Ra got returned, I'm sure that hole on it is some kind of ancient core drilling, I dont know how many years it would take for copper to create that. The black granite statues were so cool and not in bad condition either. For a brief second I saw a black wall with hieroglyphs on, was that granite too, please show us that one next time you go. Why are so many of the statues faces destroyed in egypt? Especially the noses!
You looked lovely in your dress, I dont think you are scared of the snakes lol

Thanks a lot for your videos, Irena. Last february we visited with special attention on the Open Air Museum, amazing. Senusert and Amenhotep chapel are really amazing. Also the Red Chapel of Hatshepsut and Thutmose III. And, of course, the Ajmenu of Thutmose III. Temple of Ptah and Osiris there was nobody, but i don´t really enjoy, it´s usual to visit by Illuminatis... and the guards always lookinf for a tip. Both temple are made in the reign of Thutmose III. We run the hole causeway from Karnak to Luxor, on February it´s easier...:). Tomorrow we flight to London. British museum, Petrie Museum, John Soane and Stonehenge. Keep going, Irena. Thank U a lot.

Very interesting. It's funny to think how, for the people of the Hellenistic period, a 20th century BCE temple was just as old, as Roman structures are for us. I Love the idea of naked Orgies there - and, interestingly: the Hebrew word Mìn ("מין") _means_ "Sex"; I wonder, if there is a connection...
By the way: personally, as the Greek names of places are *complete* anachronisms (like calling an ancient place by its current, new name...), I *strongly* the use of the original capital cities names: No` Amun and Mof, _not_ thebes and memphis.
And one more thing: the commercials are unbearable. There truly are way too many of them.
