Yes! That's what I want! But I have a bathtub, with windows next to it. Looks great! Except without the body spray, I wanted a control shower head, rain, and a waterfall, with also the steam.
Hey Rouge mind sharing what steam shower unit you used, and showerhead, jets, ect.? Couldn't find that information here or on your blog post. Also did you have to have an electrician for putting in the unit? I didn't see where you put it. (Sorry if I missed it, but I'd really like to know)
As a glass shower installer, seeing all these remodels and hearing that lead times take weeks sounds crazy to me. Here in Houston, I can place an order and pick It up in 2-3 days
Great video. Would have been better to see that actual result, the use of the steam room by someone in a bathing suit as well as guidance on what to look for in a steam machine - several on the market. Thanks.
I am new to this and was wondering: why use drywall instead of cement boards for the actual shower walls/ceiling? Am i wrong to think that the drywall would not suffice in supporting the weight + moisture despite the Kerdi waterproofing membrane?
Can you explain why you did the extra work of putting up drywall and then the membrane instead of using kerdi board directly to the studs? I use a product called GoBoard all the time! Like your choice of power tools!
Whats holding in that bottom glass panel if you used the styrofoam. Are you only anchored into the tile? Also did the shower guys water proof there anchor holes I’m guessing they drilled through the waterproof membrane. I see Glaziers screw these up and cause leaks all the time.

Awesome job, I’m working on a steam shower right now as well and it looks very similar!
Thanks for the video, very helpful. Can you share the shower / steam system you used? How has it held up after a year?

Great job! Looks outstanding.
Thank you!
What steamer did you use? How much did this remodel cost? Does it work well in the end?
Similar to other commenters, can you share the shower / steam system you used?

Hello dear friend greeting from MACAU CHINA
New fan thanks for great sharing 😘😘
Nice vidio
Class work
Nice! Where is the controller for the steam unit? Also, can you have both body sprayers and the rainfall at the same time?
Thanks! The controller is on the inside of the shower by the bench. And yes you can have both on at the same time
if you are using "kerdy" board, why apply drywall?
I would have added a maintenance trap door to access the U shaped tube for a clean out access. Hide it under a lose but fitting tile.
that would defeat the waterproofing system
How do you control the steamer?
Wow, super impressive you built that in 11:08, but you never even turned it on… thanks
which state are you in Thanks
the price...... is what we wanted to know
Jeez 😢
this isn't a conversion. you just remodeled your bathroom. disappointing clickbait.
