I love how unique it is! The homeowner made that house for them with no concern for anyone else’s tastes, and I wish more people would build homes like that.

Well Timothy, I can hear that you certainly loved this home! I have to say that it is not my cup of tea at all. It is like they used every possible types of finishes in one home. Personally, I was overwhelmed by all the different aspects of this build. Glad you enjoyed it though.😊Thank you for the tour.
Have to agree. All the finishes and decorations felt chaotic and inconsistent. It looked like the entire basement floor was concrete- even in the bedrooms (which made it feel prison-like)! Even with all the warm colors and textures, the house still felt cold to me.
This is the perfect big family Thanksgiving and Christmas home. I could feed an army from that kitchen and outdoor kitchen

I feel the decorating and antique pieces are what finished off the home. I wish I had her to decorate my home. I would move in immediately. This home like you say is fantastic. She got the interior perfect. Made it modern but very homey.❤❤

I have been searching for house designs like in my imagination for 5 months this now. And you finally found it. I know I would never really like living in a 2 story house, too many stairs, bad for the knees. BUT I’ve always loved the idea of a winding staircase (great for holiday family pics). And Iv been thinking that I’d make that 2nd floor like a hangout spot. This house is that idea on steroids!! 😍😍😍😍😍💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🙏🏼 *I’ll go finish watching the video now*
Ok, I really like the seating area in the recreation room on the lower level. Talk about a comfortable place to watch TV!
❤I Love this home! The rooms are flooded with light and one room flows into another. The home feels so cozy even with the volume ceilings. Decor is a personal preference and these home owners read my mind--lots of charm & character. I do see the need for larger closets and more pantry & living room square footage for sure, but that is an easy fix for those who want to build this home.
The hearth room is so inviting & convenient to use as a place of rest while cooking time-consuming recipes and doing menu planning. And don't get me started on that wonderful greenhouse...an oasis during dreary winter months. It even has a "creativity" room not far from it.
Entertaining will be a breeze from this house with the outdoor kitchen connecting to the indoor kitchen with the counter top "garage door"!
To the new Home Owners: please don't be discouraged from the many negative comments. Some are just downright rude. Would they make the same comments to you if you invited them into your house? But that is what you so graciously did, by allowing Mr. Livingston to film it. Thanks for opening your home to us, I appreciate it & may you have many blessed years in your BEAUTIFUL Home!!😊❤

Gorgeous! I love the colors , the angles, and even how they decorated. I would decorate my home completely different, but still nice to see this.
Lovely home. Bedrooms don't have a lot of closet space. Considering how many other storage closets are located all over the house. Lots of unique elements. Love the kids little play room underneath the stairs and the bunkroom.
Fabulous home with one exception. The bedroom closets are tiny. I would imagine that rich people would have a lot of clothes. They will have to put them in the closet in the lower laundry room

This is a beauty. Christmas with my family, with snow falling wouldbe so much fun.
It's definitely a lovely and unique home customized and decorated for its owners. I love the greenhouse, the timber detailing and the craft space upstairs. I love, love, love the Dutch doors! They apparently don't have children actually living with them, but maybe coming to visit, with those useless little closets in the bedrooms. The "working" pantry doesn't seem very practical except for having the extra sink and dishwasher. I personally would rather have more shelves in a pantry so I can see my inventory. The craft room's attic space will likely be turned into storage areas because any serious crafter does more than one craft and collects a lot of supplies to feed those creative addictions. The climbing wall there is likely to amuse the grandchildren and keep them out of your hair and craft supplies. I'm sure this extended family will love this home.

😊 how can the bedrooms be so small. The closets are like a broom closet. Wasted space could have been used to make them better😢

The hearth room would be my reading nook. The table in front of the window would be my library desk and the only other furniture needed would be a double recliner in front of the fireplace. I would jealously guard that room as my own private domain.
I like the small size of the great room. This always seems to be a showy space for more formal occasions.
Seeing this elevator reminds me of a recent home show in Tokyo. The elevator had a toilet in the corner. The mechanics of a toilet in a moving room boggles the mind. But at least you’d have a place to rest until help could come and save you from a broken elevator.
I LOVE the oversized door off the basement in the wood shop. Clever use of space. Also, the bunk room is a great idea for a large family. My friend invited the four bridesmaids to stay at her childhood home in another part of the state. The attic room ran the entire length of the house and had been finished for her older brothers who shared the space. It was a very comfortable guest room and we girls just loved it.
I appreciate the antiques in the house, but I’d switch most of them out for contemporary furniture. While not my favorite home. It lands comfortably in the top five you’ve shown us. Thank you.
Beautiful home and I love the antiques! But it doesn't feel like an everyday home, more like a vacation home. Too many weird angles and the bedrooms are a bit small for all that space.
I had a similar thought, especially in some of the spaces.
Yes! Without all the weird angles, the rooms could've had more space. It felt cramped and claustrophobic.

Of the three homes, this is the best. It has such “warmth.” I really like the feeling in the great room. The touch of color makes it feel very welcoming and comfy. The tones of the wood-floors, accents, furniture-throughout the main level add to that warmth, as do the touches of color throughout all the rooms. I did think the hearth room was a little small to have the only television on the main level. There’s not much seating in there to be comfortable in for TV watching. The sizes of the showers were ok, except for one which looked a little small. Ok, I’ll give more feedback as the tour continues.

Omg thank God for this house! I was getting so bored of all the houses having the same layout! This is so amazing and has little things for every age. This is one of those forever homes that you get when the kids are young but it grows and adapts with you so you can still live in it when you are grandparents.

As cool as this house, and it's very cool, what I love the most is that sink in the laundry room.
This house has so many custom little touches... the personal aspect really shines through and the price is actually not bad for the custom work done... and bonus...dog wash station 🥰

The whole upper level would be my hobby space, with the huge room being where I would paint, and store my "stuff". The cute space with the window would be my personal gallery. Aside from that, the garage should be moved to the back of the house to have immediate access to the pantry.

Hi Timothy! Truly hope you & your family are all doing well! Thank you again for the tour & a great job & all your hard work doing them always. Absolutely gorgeous unique home!! I’m an artist,decorator & musician so I appreciate things that are very unique & designed well. Only I prefer more modern style usually but do like unique styles. I like whites,grays & blacks mostly. I could make this design work though if I had the money. The primary bedroom & closet would have to be bigger,wouldn’t compromise on that. The secondary bedrooms & closets a little bigger.The living room bigger it seemed pretty cramped kind of. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous but where on earth are the extra cabinets you need in the kitchen? Maybe redesign the kitchen a little with several more cabinets or the butler’s pantry room different.Definitely need lots of cabinets in there for pantry items. I like a couple glass ones in kitchen but the rest not glassed for needed everyday items. Can’t compromise on not not having enough cabinets for kitchen things or proper pantry like primary bedroom closet space. Would never pay that price if I had it with lack of closets or cabinets. Even though I think I am a kid but not one for decades 😂 I do like the under stairs playhouse & the bunk room. I always loved ,still like hiding out in spaces like that & just feeling calm & safe. Like the 2nd floor a lot…I’m an artist & musician & not so much a crafter. So I would use that as music room for my music decor,instruments like guitars,keyboards,amps,cd,s,tapes & Vinyl collection that I don’t have room for now. Maybe some exercise equipment upstairs,too…or maybe some of that downstairs in the basement. Anyways sorry so long. Just wanted to say thank you ever so much agin & say my personal thoughts on what I would change or need to do to work for me personally as you would say.

That was the worst house I’ve seen as a new build. Terrible interior layout and decor. The great room doesn’t seem so “great without a main fireplace. Seems like an error on the design part.

The 2nd bedroom on the 1st floor has a private deck and I wanted to see it as well. You did not show it to us. I know you like to be surprised when you walk throughout the homes but, this is your job, maybe prepare a little more so things aren’t missed.
He did show it. The spiral staircase was right off that deck.

Ive never a house with such wasted potential..the layout is all wrong. Even if I could afford it there is no way this is a functional house to buy.
It’s clearly functional to the owner who built it just for them. It’s unique.

I agree. As an interior designer, I felt frustrated by the floor plans and the decorating. With all the weird corners, the rooms felt tiny.
Not a huge fan of a lot of the decor but love the unique floor plan. Couldn’t stop noticing some atrocious imperfections in the drywall though

Interesting house but not for me. The bedrooms all have tiny closets and the great room across from the kitchen is too small. Too many small rooms. But it is unique.
This home is not my thing at all. It's way too much "decorating", and pretending that you live in an olden days in a modern home is just silly in my opinion.
So, everything should just be cold and modern? Personally, I love most of the antique furniture and decor. I guess I'd prefer the actual house to be a little more old fashioned. The laundry room is beautiful.
I understand that the decor may be a bit overwhelming, but it's totally fine to have a personal preference. As a former Coloradan, your perspective is completely valid, and it's natural to have a fondness for a particular style. 😊

Sorry, didn’t like this one at all including the cluttered decor that blocked things off. A lot of weird wasted space with a choppy floor plan.

All the brick work, deck space, outdoor kitchen and koi pond are expensive. The elevator alone is a 5 figure expense.

I like the house but to my taste there are way too many doors to the outside.
Ok, that little step in the upper level where the paint cans are lined up to warn you to step down… I think that’s a safety hazard. I would have just made a gradual decline into that room. And it would’ve been easier to transport items in and out without having go up and down that step. Not sure how useful that little greenhouse will be. Yes it’s a clever little nook, but… hmm..🤔 Whoa! Coming back inside from the greenhouse area, it feels like a barricade of doors! Wonder if pocket doors could’ve been installed; would’ve made it seem less congested.
I think this UA-cam channel is designed to remind us just how broke we are because no millionaire is sitting there watching UA-cam and buying million dollar houses.

The 5th and 6th bedrooms were in the last few minutes of the video. I think he forgot the formal dining - not sure - unless I watch it again. Formal dining room was at 16.26mins in. So Timothy did not forget showing it 👍😊
Not even close to a favorite of mine. The second floor is a wasted space. Those doors on the Study\Office are weird. No Guest Closet and this lacks any coat closets. That is extremely crappy for such a pricey home. No place to watch a BIG TV. Why can't these overprices homes have just a regular pantry with shelves? A lot here makes no sense.
I can't tell if some of the rooms are oddly shaped or is it just the camera angles. The frontier staging is definitely not my style. It reminds me of a vacation rental in Gatlinburg. I wouldn't want it as my forever home.
I always wonder what these people do for a living to afford???
