Oh my goodness....over 2 mil., for that!? Ridiculous. For 2 mil., here in the greater portlad, or., area, in rural, you can get a big house, swim pool, 6 car garage & multiple acerage...like 8 to 15 acres!
The retaining wall was obviously designed to create a flat and functional backyard space, which can be challenging on lots like this. That said, I think using stone or a different material might have elevated the aesthetics more. Thanks for sharing your thoughts-every feature of a home sparks interesting conversations!
@@joepiersongroup I understand you gotta work with what you're given, but this hardly qualifies as a 'backyard'. Not to mention the yard space is effectively shared with the neighbor's. I guess you could add a fence, but then you'd be enclosing an already tiny yard space. Not to mention the fact that the houses in this development are literally set 20 feet away from one another. At a certain price point, this is something I could live with. However, for $2.5 million, I would expect at least SOME privacy. It's going to be fun for the owner to take a bath with the neighbor's house directly overlooking the primary suite bathroom.
Great question! Sometimes the placement of the home is influenced by factors like zoning restrictions, maximizing views, or the overall design vision. I agree, it’s always interesting to see how land is utilized-thanks for pointing that out!
@@utetennisfan5458 You’re absolutely right-affordability is a growing concern for many in Utah’s housing market. It’s important to acknowledge how the market dynamics are impacting buyers at all levels. Thank you both for your comments. I appreciate you sharing your perspective!
Absolutely agree. At $2.5M I should be looking at inset cabinets and not looking at GE Cafe appliances either.. I do understand the sellers are going to charge the buyers more for materials because the price for materials has gone up. Supply and demand is crazy in this country.
@@kal-el3530 You make a great point-expectations for homes in this price range can be quite high. Supply chain challenges and material costs have certainly influenced pricing across the board. Supply chain has little to do with the absurd price of this home. We are well past that problem. Just be honest. You're pricing at what the market will bear in this area. @joepiersongroup

Who is the builder?
Nice house. But is they still owned the other half of the dirt why they did not put something mark there? Just saying.
Thanks for pointing that out! I believe the lot boundaries are defined but could be made clearer-great observation!
If the house comes with all that land on the side, why did they build so close to the neighbors?!

Nice features but not worth that.
Agreed. I think that fits most housing in Utah nowadays. Home prices are out of control.

For this price tag, i would say this is poorly designed home. Look the baseboard, it is not enough and off balance.
