Soooo beautiful. I painted this 3 times, none looking as wonderful as yours :) But a great exercise to learn to control better the wet in wet technique.
Twist of Fate I agree with you concerning fusion, you'll certainly adore Prischedko Viktoria, I strongly recommend you her site. I humbly tried to inspire me with her work.....
Just two colours and how wonderfully you have created magic! Btw how do you decide which two colours to use? Can it be done in any other combination of some other shades? Please guide. Thank you.
+Aurelia Catrina Aurelia, If you like it , try the last video. It's the same technique. Vi consiglio il sito di Viktoria Prischedko , i suoi dipinti sono meravigliosi proprio in questo stile
+Margie Rosenthal Yes , i think you can call it sword brush and you'll certainly get the same result with all sword brushes. This one comes from a workshop with Viktoria Prischedko and i like to use it but there is no reference on it, sorry for that. the size is equivalent to a beveled brush 1 inch.
Thank you! Beautiful! I love the brushes you're using and have been looking for something similar. Do you have recommendations on your favorite brands?
+Brenda O'Quin I understand what you mean for the brush , this one was bought during a workshop with Viktoria Prishendko, i haven't found the exact replica of this brush here in France. in fact, now I've have radically change and i use rather round brush instead of flat brush. During a workshop with Zbukvic, i discovered the brand "ESCODA , PERLA" cheap and very efficient which correspond better with what i realize today. I still use sometime this flat brush from Viktoria , i think that you can call it "sword brush" and you must find in this category something similar.
+Michelle Margry à 2mn53 il y a un lien que je te recommande si tu aimes cette technique. , avec deux exemples. et puis, regarde les aquarelles de Viktoria Prischedko... Une merveille
The texture of your paper is so amazing. when the colors dry out it's looks like it has some patterns underneath. What kind of paper are u using ? Is it expensive ?
Midikson Peter this one is Andalucia from Hannemule . it is cellulose 500g/m2 used on rough grain side ( the two sides of this paper is fine and rough depending of the side). It's not expensive (it's not cotton). The texture is also "enhanced" by the pigment ultramarine which tends to foculate a lot" , it's a combination.
bonjour, je trouve votre peinture magnifique. que projetez vous au niveau de l'arbre à la fin de votre travail? est ce de lencre de chine blanche? merci.
wonderful colors! i like how the alizarine crimson mixed with the ultramarine blue to create a lovely shade of purplish gray :) by the way, what color were you adding at around 3:40? :)
Hi Umberto I would really love to have this brush, could you please tell me the specifics even if its old. I searched all over but cannot find the exact same. I would be very gratefull. And off corse I do love your work and learn a lot from them.
+Gumy98 at the end of the video the thrue time is much more than 5 minutes and the paper is quite dry. Then the color does'nt fuse like at the begining.
+Luis Daniel Gomez Loayza It's only white gouache splashed with a brush. And if the dots are too round shaped, you can spray water gently after ( not too much)

This is what I love of watercolors, the natural fusion between colors.. Nice work!!

Beautiful watercolor! Really sets the mood. I noticed a brush that had an angle. It looked fantastic. Is it a sword brush? Size? Brand?
