no. Dual channel means that both ram Channels (A and B) are being used so you have higher RAM speeds. I don‘t know why Slot 2 and 4 is recommended (I have my ram sticks in A1 A2 and B1 but also my motherboard is really weird and has a veeery limited bios)

​@@xev._yeah that's not too mental tbf, you get 8 slots on most EATX motherboards, normally boards designed for servers, rendering etc. not gaming. Lots have 2 CPU sockets to fit 2 CPUs. I don't know if it's the same as a GPU SLI bridge but I know there's 2 sockets.
