In BC, Canada we are permitted to turn right at a red light once a full stop has been made at the stop line and only when it is safe to proceed, unless prohibited by a sign posted at the intersection.
What do you do if the lane you’re turning right into is a restricted lane? Do you go there and just immediately change lanes or do you just avoid that lane altogether?

yeah, in most of USA, drivers can turn right on red when safe, unless there's a sign prohibiting.
