  • A planned 40km stand up paddleboard wild camping trip gets underway on a sleepy blackwater river on the first weekend of Autumn.
A rapidly decreasing water level and imperceptible fishing lines prove to be a challenge on this picturesque former Iron Curtain frontier river.

Amazing. Desperately trying to get the gf on a trial sup session before her birthday in a couple of weeks - hoping she loves it and then I can gift her a SUP and then this will be our days off together! So tranquil. Amazing stuff, thanks for sharing.

Love it! My dogs go everywhere. I don't think my St. Bernard would do as well on the paddle board! 😁

An adult St. Bernard would be 3 times the weight of my dog so I can imagine it wouldn't be fun for both parties either 😂

What stops the dogs nails from popping it? Just curious 😉

Dog claws shouldn't damage a good inflatable paddle board, I would be more worried about puncture hazards underwater. Discarded fishing hooks and sharp rocks are just some I've come across but my board has held up well.
