I wonder could one use hardy plank on a structure like that as is?(just minus the sheeting) I like the steel buildings but would prefer horizontal hardy board siding for looks and fire protection ect. I imagine you would need to run some wood straps vertically to fasten the hardy to or something like that.

Thats a thick slab at probably at least 6000 psi, probably north of 50k
