For people wondering about their income, Armani Hotel Dubai costs 1L a night, swanky Mercedes, etc, plus paying such a high rent, and other costs. So definitely they are holding high posts and earning extremely well. They have worked hard to reach this level, what their ideology is (DINK) and how they live and spend is definitely none of our business, they’re using their own earnings to live, not our money. Great video team and Beautiful house. Wishing them all the best and May they achieve more heights of success and happiness.

Will the prices in Mumbai inflate further as we go ahead? Whatever amenities including the sizes of the apartments are way cheaper and affordable in cities like Hyderabad and Bangalore. Infact, for 2.5 lakhs you would get close to 7000+ sq ft duplex in some of the premium apartments.

People are still justifying the costs. It most probably be with in 10% of their annual pay which is a very reasonable housing expense. Plus, it brings convenience and saves their time. Any expense which is in your budget and saves your time is worth it. What is the point of earning that much and slog yourself in traffic. No point in creating generational wealth since they are DINK couple.

To get returns of 8 Cr , you need lots of years .

couple of things about this project. First of all it is Lodha - if you all have heard about his New Cuffe Parade project , it is a disaster !! the internal walls of any flat is NOT made of bricks and concrete - he uses POP !! no wonder the street noises reach even on the 45th floor !! the acoustics are because there is absolutely no barrier to stop the sound. She said she can hear even if a baby is crying, I believe you - because there walls are just as thin as cardboard. you are bound to listen to all sorts of noise !! another thing about this project is that it is "In the Way" of flights !!! the Airport Authority of India has NOT given the permission to build anything above 32nd floor !!!! this building is Obstructing the flight path. a lot of people have been duped of crores in Lodha projects. Each flat here is worth a minimum of 50 crores !!

Before paying up 2.5 lakhs on rent here in india, they should have applied for jobs in US,UK,UAE etc. The pay there is high and paying 2.5 lakhs a month on rent would look better in their portfolio. A promotional video done for the sake of unsold inventories of LODHA.

I don't understand their logic. 2.5 laks rent, 6-7 laks to buy this apartment with EMI. How could they forget the price increase for this flat because of persistent inflation? This house should double in 8-10 yrs. it could even go much more up if the emi is a 20 yr. Rent is a waste of 2.5 lakhs and they do not get any ownership privileges. I do not think owners of this building would want to hangout with tenants. Owners get together and make a network, tenants mostly are not included in such network.
It's plain stupid to give 2.5 lakh rent for a 2000 sq ft 3 bhk.

To be honest it is not worth it, I mean it's not worth to spend that much just to live somewhere but then again the rich are okay to pay it but would like to add the flat is average and it's still not worth anyone paying that, I mean if they maybe focus on providing housing at affordable rates to more people rather than have these gated community alone then maybe we can help people and allow more people be involved in the shining India. I mean I lived abroad too I agree a rich person lives in fancy appartments but it's not like we have such a great per capita income to match that, more money is coming from the film industry down south , more business lately coming out of Bangalore and Gurgaon, and even tier two cities can boasts of the same or even bigger appartments for that matter, mumbai should calm down on rent and maybe give more emphasis on roads and affordable housing than this Disney World. Infact India should calm down.

The guy is a IIM passout from 15 years ago and COO of a financial services company. His earnings alone would be 1-2cr. On top of that even she is working at a senior level post. They can easily afford the 25-30 lakh rent /year and still save a lot of money. Why to live in a mediocre society , which is not close from your workspace and waste time and stress in Mumbai traffic only for more "Savings" while sacrificing in your present lifestyle? On top of that they dont even have children to worry about the children's future expenses. They are doing the smart thing, living large in the present and investing the remaining from their earnings, which I'm sure would also be big amount. Spending 30 lakhs on rent looks like overspending for us middle class folks, but thats not really the case for high income earners like this couple.

Lodha world tower is located in a very mediocre place surrounded by chawls and slums and unlimited traffic and congestion. The interior space is too small for 2.5 lakh rent. The couple can easily purchase a better place and create assets. Rent and luxury cars are just expenditure. Overall India is getting more and more westernized. People having less or no children , spending money on luxuries and not creating assets.
