On global scale for that kind of rent it is not just the building but the city the state and the country offers ...only when you compare that then this is silly expensive
To be honest it is not worth it, I mean it's not worth to spend that much just to live somewhere but then again the rich are okay to pay it but would like to add the flat is average and it's still not worth anyone paying that, I mean if they maybe focus on providing housing at affordable rates to more people rather than have these gated community alone then maybe we can help people and allow more people be involved in the shining India. I mean I lived abroad too I agree a rich person lives in fancy appartments but it's not like we have such a great per capita income to match that, more money is coming from the film industry down south , more business lately coming out of Bangalore and Gurgaon, and even tier two cities can boasts of the same or even bigger appartments for that matter, mumbai should calm down on rent and maybe give more emphasis on roads and affordable housing than this Disney World. Infact India should calm down.
Developer has nothing to do with india per capita... He has some number of units to sell in building and he gets those number of customers comfortably.. that's all...
The ones who can buy these 'units' are eating into this country's economy like a termite. Such money is made only by extreme greed & corruption where the average person can barely afford 50k rent in mumbai. Don't pretend to be blind of money laundering and mafia that works behind the scenes.
2.5 L per month, it's too much for average interior and not much spacious. No doubt, building structure looks like as Hotel and best thyme in entrance... Couple lifestyle look high.
They are paying a rent of 30 Lakhs per Annum. So in 10 years it will be 3 Crores. Instead of paying this rent they could have purchased the flat on EMI.
Our fathers created assets by investing long term. We are getting westernised. Spending so much on rent and a luxury car and no asset created. Not very intelligent considering both people work in finance.
Even I agree your view.but there are few others who want to enjoy their single life when young .and they are the people who actually create more income for govt in luxury items, not people like me and you .I wish u start respecting other views
The guy is a IIM passout from 15 years ago and COO of a financial services company. His earnings alone would be 1-2cr. On top of that even she is working at a senior level post. They can easily afford the 25-30 lakh rent /year and still save a lot of money. Why to live in a mediocre society , which is not close from your workspace and waste time and stress in Mumbai traffic only for more "Savings" while sacrificing in your present lifestyle? On top of that they dont even have children to worry about the children's future expenses. They are doing the smart thing, living large in the present and investing the remaining from their earnings, which I'm sure would also be big amount. Spending 30 lakhs on rent looks like overspending for us middle class folks, but thats not really the case for high income earners like this couple.
@@RamMohammadJosephKaur Lets say they make 2 cr combined(I think it would be more but still).. 30 lakh in rent is 15% of income. It's like someone who earns 1 lakh a month living in a 15k per month apartment.
Lodha world tower is located in a very mediocre place surrounded by chawls and slums and unlimited traffic and congestion. The interior space is too small for 2.5 lakh rent. The couple can easily purchase a better place and create assets. Rent and luxury cars are just expenditure. Overall India is getting more and more westernized. People having less or no children , spending money on luxuries and not creating assets.
Perfect example of a money minded materialistic modern day couple who went to good schools n now r earning well.. now only care bout comparing their life wid their peers in terms of money n luxury..to top it all, they want no kids..overcompensating for a non existent family life..
I would genuinely be interested in knowing total monthly income for such a family which spends 2.5 lakhs a month on just rent. Seeing they drive a BMW and living here my guess is its easily going to be above 10 lakh between the 2 of them.

Pucha kisine
The ones who can buy these 'units' are eating into this country's economy like a termite. Such money is made only by extreme greed & corruption where the average person can barely afford 50k rent in mumbai. Don't pretend to be blind of money laundering and mafia that works behind the scenes.
Bhai yeh 2.5 lakh agar rent pay karte hain, toh inki monthly income kitni hain
2.5 lac pe HRA benefits milega. And at their scale they will be paying 40%+ in taxes. So the actual rental would be less than 1.5 lacs.
1 crore
They said they can't afford 6 lakh EMI. Bhai agar 6 lakh EMI nahi afford kar sakte toh 2.5 rent is not a good financial decision
Y sab hawabaazi hai... it's easy to earn money but not easy to hold on to it
@@PritamDas_26 and he's in the financial field
2.5 L per month, it's too much for average interior and not much spacious. No doubt, building structure looks like as Hotel and best thyme in entrance... Couple lifestyle look high.
U pay for the location more than the flat in mumbai.. lower parel is one of the poshest areas in mumbai so the price
Would love to see episode from Navi Mumbai side
They are paying a rent of 30 Lakhs per Annum. So in 10 years it will be 3 Crores. Instead of paying this rent they could have purchased the flat on EMI.
the resale value is 30% lesser
That flat price itself is 8 crore buddy!
Our fathers created assets by investing long term. We are getting westernised. Spending so much on rent and a luxury car and no asset created. Not very intelligent considering both people work in finance.
Even I agree your view.but there are few others who want to enjoy their single life when young .and they are the people who actually create more income for govt in luxury items, not people like me and you .I wish u start respecting other views
you hardly know what they have in assets. Maybe they have crore in bank balance, ancestral lands and kothis in India and other investments.
People having less or no children , spending money on luxuries and not creating assets.
in jaipur this quality of flat and facilities you'll end up paying not more than 40k. mumbai is so expensive man!!.
Just earn money and give in rent or pay EMI.
2.25L for brokerage and they were mentioning it like as if they got an ice cream for 100 rs!
that’s because they have high income
also ask these peoples what they do for living and their encome source
bro is the he COO of Ambit Capital and his wife is the CEO of Marsh Insurance India, they must be earning like 2-3 crores yearly salaries
So this is a very large apartment. And they have great art on their walls.
Perfect example of a money minded materialistic modern day couple who went to good schools n now r earning well.. now only care bout comparing their life wid their peers in terms of money n luxury..to top it all, they want no kids..overcompensating for a non existent family life..
Oh my god.. mumbai is so expensive... 2.5 lakh per month... In other cities, u will get big penthouse at this rent...
Looking from overseas this would not classify as a luxury apartment; just a well furnished one
Great content 👌
They Can afford a 2.5L rent but cannot afford a 6L Emi?
And Btw is the rent 2.5L including all the amenities ?
@@viveknaskar exactly dude, its better to buy apartment in gurgaon with amenities and nice view. It will be much less than mumbai rent.
What about down payment. It will be in crores.
They are paying my 3.2 year rent in one month. Bhout paise Wale he
Great video.
Thanks for the video ....
My gosh .... 2.5 lacs a month RENT!!!
Am i the only middle class here. 🤣🤣
me bhi hu bhai
Bhai 4000 rent hain mera
Why am i getting Amazon Advirtisment again and again in every 1.5 mins
Why marry if you're not having kids. Wasted some money on marriage. Could have rented partner.
I make about 8 lakhs a month and I could probably afford this but I'd rather pay my 35k per month rent and invest all the money for now.
What do you do
@@mehulpatel4997 LIE
much worst interiors being such a big entity
I think it’s a balcony and not a deck ?
I would genuinely be interested in knowing total monthly income for such a family which spends 2.5 lakhs a month on just rent. Seeing they drive a BMW and living here my guess is its easily going to be above 10 lakh between the 2 of them.
Both are working, DINK philosophy. 10-15L Per person salary monthly.
@@ashishprasad1963 their income is 10 lacs net net combined
For most people 25 - 30% of their monthly salary goes to their rent.
So their combined monthly income would be around ~10 Lacs (+-20%)
I'm guessing 10-15 lakh+ easily.
Then why can't he afford 6-7 lacs EMI.
Vishal, use good quality mic.
Looking like Beverley Hill's
😂 loda is a commie block and beverley hill is a housing . American don't like living in cage .
