I actually enjoyed the PS4 version but one thing really annoyed me. There was NO option to invert the Y axis and I'm an inverted player. I'm glad they finally added that to this version.
So, it is just an improved version of Timothy vs the Aliens? I wasn't sure if it was a sequel. Thanks. I'm most excited that they actually added an option to invert the Y-axis!
Same question. Is it like the equivalent of a ps5 upgrade of a ps4 game? Or is it a different game entirely? Or the old game with included dlc/expansion-like content making it Timothy vs aliens 2.0?
@mattpenix8438 I played it a while back. It seemed more of a 2.0 to me. Definitely not a sequel, but there were some changes/differences from the original.
I will say that I've ran into several bugs & glitches on this version that I don't remember on PS4. After speaking to the cat lady Timothy was just sliding around and I couldn't jump, dash, etc. I quit and restarted and it was back to normal. I've also had my standard revolver not show how much ammo I have chambered and the mini map froze permanently. I've quit and restarted and it still won't fix itself.
It has been out in ps4 for the longest, but now it's available to play on PS5. The game is ok not bad but also not too crazy, so don't expect much. Friendly note: The PS4 version can be played on the PS5 as well.
This version is not the same as the PS4 version. It has more content, better framerate/graphics, and DualSense features. The PS4 version is still inferior. - Chris
@@PurePlayTV Honestly, it looks the same to me; if anything, they only added a bit of color, and thats it. The PS4 Version is comparable to play in the PS5 and is cheaper 😄
I'm having a blast with this game. Music is so damn good and love the art style. Only complaint so far is it seems it's 60fps indoors but 30fps outdoors. Makes for a little unevenness. But definitely one of the better use of DualSense so far! Great job by the developers!
@@PurePlayTV yes, I was thinking this game might not have that option. From the few gameplay videos I've seen of it the music is far too loud. With it being an indie title I also thought it might have been left out. Thank you for the quick reply.
I've never heard of this game but i'm interested after this, looks really good! By the way Chris, not been interacting with your pages on twitter for a while because the soft people running twitter have suspended my account since June, don't think i'm getting it back.
The dualsesne support isn't all that great compared to astro's playroom or ratchet and clank, it feels basic. Also there's very little to no voice acting and you have to read everything even during cutscenes, it doesn't wait for you to catch up during cutscenes too so. Thought you might want to know, it isn't worth the 16 pounds i paid for it tho.
Thanks. This helps. How is it in relation to Timothy vs Aliens? Is it basically the same game just updated for ps5? Or is it different. Or is it like a deluxe version of the old game that now includes dlc/expansion like add ons?

so this is different from Timothy vs Aliens?

Can you turn down or off the background music in the options?
I do think it is possible. Most games allows this - Chris

from the video it seems is running 30 fps, is this because of youtube or the game it really drops the fps that way from 60 fps ?
Is there a frame rate option?
Nope - but it's almost always 60fps, so you wouldn't want to drop it down anyway. - Chris
Is it worth the price tag?

Physical?
I'm guessing that if you wine and dine him enough, sure, he'll oblige to get physical.
