Kick You When your down... favorite from the album.. catchy as hell
That intro is insane! Love it so much
God Bless AC/DC for saving 2020 and putting out one Killer Album POWER UP is awesome ...So great that Brian,Cliff and Phil are back...Hard to believe Brian is 73 and his voice hasn't sounded this good in a while.... Malcolm is all over the album and this is a heartfelt tribute from Angus and the Boys to Malcolm himself....Kudos to Stevie Young for stepping into his Uncle's shoes... Malcolm and Bon would both be so proud.
I loved Black Ice, Underrated record.
I'm looking forward to the new record.
Black ice is a multiplatinum album... The black ice tour made some unreal numbers so it's not very underrated 😋🤘🤘
I loved this. Cheers from Finland!
It’s a shame that it’s been leaked, I will come back in 3 days and watch this video back.
Promise it doesn’t get blocked
Top picks
Demon Fire
Through The Mists Of Time
Code Red
Also the bridge riff for No Man’s Land is literally just Badlands from Flick of the Switch
someone just has to tell Angus to make a few songs longer with 2 minute guitar solos and strong background vocals. A few drum build-ups would be good to.
AC/DC is back and thank God Brian is back no one can replace him and may Malcom young be up there with Bon Scott and the likes of LEMMY Killmister and the other gods of rocks
I don’t know, but as a longtime listener, I here some of Brendan O’Brien’s input on the background vocal melodies, not just vocally but also idea wise.
There is a definite subtle change to their approach on this one, and honestly it’s refreshing and tastefully done. Just a bit more melodic whilst clinging to the classic overall sound.
From what I’ve heard so far it is better than I’ve heard them in a while. These songs will have a longer lasting impression than the past few albums, and I really liked them all. Brian’s vocals are the clincher for me.
Through the Mists of Time is the best track on the whole album for me; I actually hear some of Springsteen's Brilliant Disguise in that inspirational hook. They're not breaking new ground, but having the boys back and sounding this damn good brings a tear to my eye!
Any links available on how the album was downloaded early lol??!
Speaking of Lizzy - always bewildered why Phil's vocals / bass from demos couldn't have been used like "Dedication" to make a full record. Tons of the demo material like "Revolution" was fantastic.
There are clearance and legal hoops to go through. Lynotts widow Caroline owns the entire estate which is sort of a shame since they were separated up to Phil's death. If Phil's mother Philomena had those songs in her possession they would have been released years ago.
to be honest, i found a leak of the whole album, and i was somewhat disappointed, i found Rock Or bust to be more riff oriented and thats what ac/dc were known for, for memorable riffs coupled with angus' blistering guitar solos. i actually prefer the stop and start type riffs, Ballbreaker is my #1 fav ac/dc record. stiff upper lip i found was the start of them loosing their hard rock riff laden sound. Black Ice was alright and it was massively commercially pushed by their record label back in 2008 which helped them get back on top. I feel though Brendan O'brien is not the right producer and feel they should've tried a different producer or maybe even re-visited rick rubin/greg fidelman maybe or even Iron maidens longtime producer Kevin Shirley. my most favorite period of ac/dc is from back in black right up to ballbreaker. that 15 year span was just, i feel what everyone came to know and love of ac/dc and talk about a memorable stop and start ac/dc riff that not enough ppl talk about is the single "Big Gun" they did for the Arnold Swcharzennegar movie "Last Action Hero" back in 1993. So i've only listened to the whole album twice and the 2nd listen i was starting to notice more nuances. Obviously i'll be picking the album up when it comes out even though i find it sounds a little lackluster, ac/dc, even though i hate this analogy cuz i'm not a fan of the Rolling Stones but i appreciate the influence they had on artists that came after them that i love like ac/dc but they are like the Rolling Stones now that, even if the albums are not what they used to be ac/dc have that legend status where they can't do any wrong....
I think it's easily their worst album ever.
Bit harsh lads I haven’t heard it yet, what’s the best song off it
@@mufflersponge8969 uuum, let me think, rejection was not bad, obviously shot in the dark, kick you when your down, code red, money shot(for me is a highlight) system down, witches spell but even these tracks, there not bad it they just feel incomplete. if i had to describe this ac/dc record, it would have to be a less enthusiastic "Flick of the Switch" or "Fly on the Wall" which is funny to say cuz those 2 mid 80's ac/dc records are 2 of my fav records but back in the day they were hated, maybe this record will need some time to age like those records did... but one thing i have to say, either your gonna love it on the first listen or your gonna have to listen to it a few times to start to appreciate the finished product that it is. which is not bad but unfortunately, i think had even greater potential.....
Hello awesome music lovers from & the souls of the Congrats love & light to you all 🙏🙏🙏🙏
74 Jail Break And Razor's Edge Are My Fave Album.... Got Every Album Even Iron Man Soundtrack
I have to say that my favourite is Through The Mists of Time!! 😀 😀 🤘 🤘 🎸 🎸 Awesome song!! 😀 😀
Their last good record is fly on the wall my all time favorite but is sad my brother last AC/DC was rock or bust but his favorite was flick of the switch bro die February 2020
Sorry over your loss. My condolences. Music is great therapy though.
I Love AC/DC. heard only two songs so far but I think they are Better then last album best songs
I hear fly on the wall 2 ._. I liked fly on the wall
Very strong record. I don't think it is stronger than Black Ice but it certainly beats Rock Or Bust. The first side of the album is amazing.
Are you drunk?
@@hunkallgood73 Black Ice features Malcolm. It's a fantastic record, Train, Anything Goes, War Machine, Stormy May Day, Money Made, RNR Dream, Black Ice are classics AC/DC. Rock Or Bust felt a bit rushed. Not all the songs are great. Power Up has a fantastic first side, but the second side isn't particularly great.
I couldn't disagree with these guys more! This album is a love letter to Mutt Lange era AC/DC! The songs are catchy a.f.! It just boggles my mind how simple the riffs are yet they are able to convey so much!
Code red love it!
Neil was the only one worth a damn in this review.
Honestly I found these guys super annoying and I disagree with most of there opinions except that the new album is good! I agree with that! Why is it when people like something, they feel the need to put something else down??? Honestly I liked the last 3 records. I think stiff upper lip is super catch with a ton of hooks and I like every song! Black ice I didn’t feel was as strong but it was good and it had the big single rock n roll train and I really like rock or bust. I thought it was an improvement on black ice and it was super solid! Personally I think any of those albums kick the shit out of fly on the wall!!!! The production is horrid on that and that has a couple of clunkers in my opinion!
Witch's Spell is one of my favorites on the album. Didn't realize it until after several rounds. Best album since Back in Black!
It's a solid album, but, there are no top 10 hits here. Aerosmith, Heart, and other long lived bands have used Jimmy's suggestion of external writers to great results. Sometimes you just need new blood to spark ideas.
High , go DEMS 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✌🤘👏👏👏🌈🎊🎉🎊👍
What a horrible tribute to Malcom. This album should've been titled 'Power outage' instead.
