The full name is Asante/Ashanti New Town, just like Fanti New Town. Growing up in Ashtown, I will say it’s a beautiful suburb of Kumasi; however, the building attachments have made the place a mess. Just like most places in Ghana, the roofing sheets are too old and need to be replaced with some modern ones to make an aerial view look nice. Furthermore, I hope they will reintroduce something Nana Akwasi Agyemang did in the early 1990s by demolishing all the building attachments and kiosks to beautify the area. Honestly, I think they should do this all over Kumasi or Ghana. Your video brings back a lot of memories from childhood. Thanks to you guys.
