Frank, did you find the source of that oil leak yesterday because that stuff coming out of the adjuster hole is far blacker than the leaked oil. I find it difficult to imagine that much leaked oil coming from the alternator wire tube whilst the engine is static overnight. The leaked oil is clean enough for gearbox or crankcase leak. Did the T100 have a sealed drive side main bearing? If so the primary oil is isolated and get dirty from the clutch plates without it tainting the engine oil system.
I was thinking the same thing. If that wire tube was leaking it would only happen when the bike was running and flinging oil around in the primary. It seems like that leak was a "sitting overnight" type leak, but maybe it happened while you were running on the lift and we only saw the aftermath on th video.
Some great work carried out on this one.
Beautiful work Frank!
Good info thanks
Going to do same job myself on my 69 trophy 500
Cheers fron New Zealand
