Frank that was, in my opinion, your best instructive video so far. Well Done Sir 👏👏👏 Really waiting to watch your process of thought and way ahead with starting & fettling the “Green Goddess”
57:00 at this point I pull in clutch lever and gently kick over engine to check the clutch springs are evenly tensioned, if uneven the domed plate will appear to oscillate as it turns. Adjust springs until it doesn’t oscillate and when clutch is released you get an even bite on the plates.
We still had the primary case open when we installed the clutch cable, so we could set the release rod clearance and confirm good clutch release action. Take a look at some of the earlier videos to see it.
Interestingly, I don't know. I thought about it right after the outer cover slipped into place. That's why I had us do a complete shift up/down. Then, since all the gears worked I decided to not question success. I asked Kevin and he thinks he had it in neutral, but couldn't swear to it. So, that's the true story. We don't know. Either we did and it was, or it just didn't matter. Thanks for writing. Ride Safe!

Nice long video👍
Frank, there are a lot of people these days working on vintage British bikes. You are certainly one of the best!
Been watching videos on the t100 for a good many years. This is one of the best...great tips! Well done sir. I own two 1970 t100s. Great bikes.

Always enjoy watching you guys work . Old british bikes like Pozidriv bits. The ticks on the head indicate pozidriv
At what point did you fit the clutch cable? 🤔🤷♀️

Do you have to have gear cluster in a certain gear to re assemble?
I seem to remember
Yes l wondered about that.
Looked like they just moved it til it went in...no rhyme or reason. Hope they answer you
Seemed to go together but think being 3rd gear helps as per manual. Has held me up before
Fig d7 in manual
