38:25 Why not have Jeff moderate the beginning of final tribal council -- opening statements and then he asks the "FAQs." Biggest moves? Biggest strengths throughout the game? Why do you deserve it? Why don't the others deserve it? Then any juror who still wants to go up individually can do so. Editors can cut the uninteresting bits from that portion as needed. Lots of people think they're Sue Hawk. 45:00 If they are trying to get rid of the Heathers at F4, they could use the first part of the Do or Die twist. First place at F4 immunity is safe. Last place at F4 immunity is automatically in the fire-making. Immunity winner chooses which other person is in and which has to make fire.
I think Jeff leading “FAQs” opens up too many opportunities for having a winner that JEFF wants to win instead of a winner that they jury wants to win - which is the whole point of the show and FTC. What Jeff thinks doesn’t matter, and what questions he thinks are important to ask isn’t important.
Erika is winning because she is going to take Ricard out with fire making. They emphasized how when she got sent by herself that she would be okay because she knew how. Food for thought? Deshawn wins and sends them in…
im kind of surprised xander is seen as a goat like heather ive been rooting for him all season and i think it seems like its between xander or ricard to win
do ya'll think we should see jury deliberation after the final three make their case? I think that could be super exciting if you have multiple people making cases for multiple people. we see some of that in ponderosa videos, but I think a dedicated 15 minutes of this would be great!
Yup exactly. It's a huge power move, but not necessary at all if you see yourself as the dominant player. Tony wouldn't have put himself into fire, and he wouldn't need to. It's only necessary if you know you are seen as inferior to another player, which is obviously the case when coming from the edge.
Honestly they should try switching to Final Two for a while without firemaking requirements. Yes, big threats will just miss the final two. But with all the superfans cast people already get voted out premerge for being a threat. Once there are only two spots at the end people will start sniping goats to make sure they don't occupy the end game. Cirie already started that back in season 12 but then F3 started right after. The editors should try giving everyone who makes the finale a compelling edit instead of taking the lazy way out by making certain players invisible because they don't want to explain subtle games unless they absolutely have to. If the story editors aren't able to give the people they cast a story, then they should cast different people or hire new editors. It's that simple.
34:50 That is the point of the fire making challenge at final 4. People can no longer take 2 goats to the end but eventually players will start to look down on it just like they do now with immunity wins and immunity runs. The excuses that the social and strategy aspects of the game are more important that winning challenges and finding idols are used by people that know they can't win challenges or find idols. Xander never had a chance because no one wanted to play with him but they all used his vote at some point.
@robhasapodcast What if it was a final 2 not 3? If (1) castaway wins immunity and the other castaway wins fire making, the jury will now be voting between 2 "deserving" players. This is the best way to ensure a goat with no votes is not dragged to the end.
No hate on Rob but when he looks to the left & to the right for more than a few min. while his guests is talking comes across disrespectful. He's done it in other interviews too.
Love Domenick! I would love to see him play again. I wish he would have won his season.
Survivor has to find a way to get dom back on the show
Who would've thought that Chris Underwood would leave a lasting legacy in Survivor with the fire making.

I have a feeling Domenick goes home. I think you did the right thing keeping Wendell.
Ricard wins against everyone, Erika wins against everyone except Ricard, then Deshawn. Xander and Heather are the Goats.

He is saw as the "ozy" stereo type but the worst part is that he has not won enough immunity challenges to back his game.
His self sacrifice moments seemed disengenuine to the ppl in the tribe i think.

Tommy didn’t do it. Tommy got taken and won. But you have to when you come from the edge.

Shoutout to the shrimp ring!
Still rooting for ERIKA.
Dom should have won 36.

Erica or Ricard
I think 2 tribal to top 3
Then tie breaker for final 2
Cut the clip! Poker alliance 2.0
I don't want Ricard to win
