Gosh, Lindsay, this is SO exceptional. You should do a trio or a series of these mm florals like the daffodils too. Your mm choices are stunning! Another winner! Can't decide which of the 2 I like the most they're both so gorgeous.
Hullo Lindsay, well of course I am watching this quick version and I hope my comment helps get it to more viewers! I am so excited to see this version of these flowers! I still need to complete more of your amazing projects from your Teachable School that I have already purchased! I will say that anyone looking for in-depth instruction should get a lesson to check it out. I was so impressed that I purchased whole years of lessons in your pre-packaged collections, thank you for making it so easy! If your on the fence or simply not financially able just now, the $5.00 monthly payment is not a bad way to go! Thanks Lindsay this is so wonderful!
Thank you, Lindsay for showing me some more ways to use my supplies. You help me to have confidence in myself and just try it. I usually enjoy the outcome.
I love that you re using Dr. Ph radiance watercolors I have some of them so i can fill up my different pens with them. Very good idea loving your care free flowers 💐
wonderful i have large liquid watercolors .they are 8 ounce sax ,i found out on certain glossy photo paper they are permanent,i looked and my better office products photo paper works ,they are not rewetting ,i am so exited to draw with them, the snow white pens you shared work perfectly too.thank you so much i am going to play and draw now
SUCH good tips on the crayons. I love the cheery colors of these flowers. Nicely done and the background being done first and then last is something I need to try.
Love this one. Reminds me of an art journal page I’ve seen others do. I’m getting ready to start my first art journal so I’ve been watching a lot of videos 😊
Beautiful. Really looking forward to following it in critique club as I paint along but couldn't resist quick preview. I love how you are using your newly filled ink pens. Stunning.
I love your very free and loose watercolors! I agree, Neocolor IIs never go bad. I bought a bunch of open stock back in the early 90s and stored them in damp garages, etc and they are still perfectly fine! The worst that has happened is that the labels are a little loose on some of them. I'm using them now more than ever :)
Gorgeous! The orange and the blues absolutely pop. Another option to the fountain pens are the Dip Pens with fountain pen nibs. Pilot makes a Fine and a Medium point on a choice of inexpensive resin handle or a fancier handle. Sailor Hocoro dip pens with a choice of 5 different fountain pen nibs including a Fude nib are also available. The Sailor's have an add on $4 feed to hold ink just like a fountain pen for more extended drawing sessions. With the dip pens you only need one since its super easy to swish in clean water and pick up a new color. Not as portable as a fountain pen though. Another more portable option is a cartridge rollerball with an ink converter to hold the ink. Schneider makes the Ray Cartridge rollerball that can use either a long international ink cartridge OR a full sized international ink converter. Smoother than a scratchier fountain pen nib but would require multiple pens to handle multiple colors. Tom's Studio is making the Lumos refillable fine liner that uses a simple cotton reservoir to hold the fountain pen ink along with 9 different choices of tips. This is a more expensive aluminum pen that you will be able to leave to some lucky person in your will! -). Tom's Studio also makes a little $5 feed to add onto regular dip pen nibs to increase the drawing time per dip. So many fun new options!
Absolutely gorgeous! I’m intrigued by your stamp collection. I could use a nice script stamp but I’m picky and don’t particularly like many I’ve seen. I need a slightly closer look, but I like what I saw of the script you used.
Lindsay- just thought I would share an experience since you are obsessed with inks, as am I- I just tried making my own inks with Brusho and it worked wonderfully. I don't know if you considered doing that to create your own inks- I know you have Brusho (or did at one point) and because they have multiple pigments in eaach shade, every batch I made with the same color powder came out differently. I mixed them all in tiny test tubes- I just added the powder to the vial, used a dropper bottle to add a little distilled water, capped the tube and shook it, and then I had my own vial of vibrant custom ink which I could easily alter by adding more or less powder or other colors.
Beautiful!❤
Thank you! 😊
So lovely, my dad’s favorite flowers too! Perfect for spring. 🥰
Thanks!
Thx Lindsay 🌿
You’re welcome 😊
Gorgeous! The extra finishing touches on the background really make it pop, too. Thanks so much!
You are so welcome!

Great tip!
Will Martin’s Bombay inks work in those pens?
It's not reccommended
