I absolutely prefer you talking. You have a beautiful and calming voice. Not sure why anyone would complain about it. Thank you for this Christmas tree idea. They are beautiful😍
I agree, prefer talking. They must have a button they can use called “volume” and turn it off. Such a unique idea! Sorry, just my 2 cents. Lovely video. It’s my first time here. Thank you for your help.
I love that you talk about what you are doing. People can always mute or turn down the sound. Your painting style is beautiful and you are a great teacher. 😊
Absolutely want you to talk through the video! I watch for the detailed and informative explanation you provide. I don't watch videos that are sped up and with music rather than explanation. Your voice is very pleasant to listen to. Thank you for your detailed videos!
Thank you for this lovely detailed tutorial. I have no problem with you talking through the video. The reason I watch tutorials is to learn the techniques so I appreciate a verbal explanation. And, you have a very nice voice too!
There is huge value in you explaining in detail what you are doing and why. If someone thinks it's too much talking, there is a mute button on their device! These trees are beautiful, and I can't wait to try these techniques. Thank you!
Go ahead and talk. I'm here to learn. I'm a visual person, but I need you to tell me and explain exactly what you're doing. FOR ALL YOU BEAUTIFUL ARTISTS..... IF YOU DON'T WANT HER TO TALK, JUST TURN DOWN THE VOLUME. THEN EVERYONE WINS💕🎨💕
I love your trees! I struggle with getting them natural looking without going overboard. Yours are perfect! Just what I want to learn to paint. As far as talking…talk away. The more you talk the more information you give. So talk to us as much as you want! Thank you so much for all the information and showing how you paint your snowy trees❤
I absolutely loved this tutorial! I've seen many non-talking YT videos where it is pleasant to watch them make beautiful art, but you don't LEARN anything! Thank you so much for going to the effort of explaining everything you're doing, and most importantly WHY! I subscribed.
I’m so happy you’re back, and the tip you gave about not having a full trunk to work with is so good! I love your videos because you talk to us. There are so many creators who have soft music as they paint and that’s also wonderful, but your channel stands out because of those great tips you’re sprinkling in. There are so many varieties of experiences out there, and I wish people would move along and seek out what they’re looking for instead of criticizing how someone else does their art, and Jackie, your channel is art as much as your paintings. Thank you for your gifts to us. ❤
I also prefer you talking. It helps to know why and how you apply your different techniques. That’s what a tutorial is. Plus I also like to hear your voice. Thank you so much for sharing your talent!
It seems the consensus from the comments I’ve read is that you should keep your commentary as is with your tutorials. I think your comments are very useful and you have a lovely speaking voice. Thank you for these great videos! ❤
I like having the explanation throughout the video! It helps me learn so much. I also watch pretty much all videos on 2x speed so I quickly get the info I want. Beautiful trees by the way!
I absolutely love your running commentary and instruction. Your voice is soothing and encouraging. Please do you! It's your tutorial and your style is just right. Like a warm cup of cocoa on a blustery day! Thank you for your videos! Blessings!
Please keep talking! It’s like sitting with you while you paint. When I’m painting, I often talk out loud, it’s a way of processing my thoughts. Hearing you express your thoughts is really helpful 😊☮️
I absolutely love the way you explain the step by step process and your technics. I practice with your tutorials and learn a lot. Your style is beautiful and I love all your work.❤
Love your trees and appreciate you sharing how and why you're painting it to achieve the results!!!. Thank you!!! ❤️ 🎉😊 Maybe show us a pine wreath or Christmas decorations using pine branches!!! God bless you!!! A California Gramma ❤
Please keep up the talking! I learn so much from your descriptions of what you are doing! If someone doesn’t like it, they can watch it without volume.
These trees are beautiful. 😍 Especially the last one. And I love listening to your calming voice. ☺️ Also, your verbal guidance is very important and welcome.
Hi Jackie! I love your painting style and teaching. I'm truly grateful for the instruction it's so helpful! I love how you teach!! I am grateful for this video on trees which I desperately want to learn. I say just keep doing what you do so well!! Thank you so much for the time, energy, and expertise you put into the videos.
Hi Jackie! Please continue to talk and explain. Those that complain can go elsewhere. How rude of them! I love your voice, your work and channel!! Its music I don't care to listen on other channels. I did go attempt to purchase the Forest Green, but the conversion of 89 euros equalized to $84 dollars..for 1 pan of watercolor? Is this true? Thank you.
Thank you so much! 🌲🤍 And I just checked their website and it looks like maybe you went to the Deep Forest set which has 6 colors. I don’t see the single half pan of forest green available on its own right now. They change them up as they make them so I always keep an eye out. But you can also reach out to them via IG or their website. They are pretty quick at responding. But their single watercolors range from around $13-$19 ish depending on materials used to make the pigments and timing. Hope that helps! But while you wait, another beautiful granulating watercolor is the undersea green by Daniel Smith. Not as dark, but wow what a color. One of my favs.
I definitely like you talking and sharing your thoughts…😊 I love these trees…the last one I love it looks like the trees we have here in Michigan after a hard snow…❤
You talking and explaining your thoughts and reasoning is far more helpful and relevant than irritating lift music in an art video. Keep doing what you do, and please, never resort to music! 🩵
Hi Jackie, I'm so glad you're back. I missed you and the tutorials soooo much. I'm going to do these trees this weekend. Then I will post them on the Facebook group. I'm going to do my best! Thanks, for all your hard work. I appreciate all that you do. Take care Jackie, and someday I would love to meet your sweet fur babies.🎨❤️🐾
Wow, what a lovely video. The colors, the greenery, the crystals, even the tamber of your voice. I can tell you are my people! ❤ Its soothing and inspiring and I can't wait to try this..... Oh and I dont think you talk too much. I actually prefer voice over videos vs people talking while they are painting. Because sometimes they are talking more while not painting and I find that takes forever. Looking forward to more of your videos!
I love each step. I’m a newbie and trying to learn and the more detail you talk about the more I learn. How wet the paper is the techniques. This was great!
You explain it all perfectly Jackie! Keep doing what youre doing; your explanations are helpful. If a viewer would like to have a quiet video, they can simply mute the sound. Thank you for another beautiful tutorial. I find comfort in your videos during lifes ups and downs. Thank you for sharing.
I really enjoyed this tutorial Jackie! The 3 trees are beautiful and you make it seem so easy as you talk us through each step. Don't change what you're doing!!
This is the best tree tutorial I've ever seen! I really appreciate your insights as you are working, explaining what you are thinking, and why you are doing this and that. Thank you!
Thank you so much for stopping by and spending time on my channel. I hope you like trees because it’s my main love and what I focus on for this channel; forestscapes. 🌲🤍
New subscriber and beginner at watercolors. I'm great full that you do explain everything as you go. Because for me, I need that. You explain each step very clearly.. I love your pine trees and am attempting to make Christmas cards following your techniques. Ty
Jackie dear, WTH! How, how can people be so rude to complain about your teaching method! It's PERFECT just the way it is. I'm with every other artist here who praises you for giving us your techniques (on your own dime I might add). I've used your techniques for a couple of years now with great success. My evergreens have never looked as good as they do now. Thank you for all you do here on your channel. You're such a blessing and so is your work.
I’m so glad your trees are looking great! I’m always experimenting with different ways to paint them, and as I find news ways I’ll continue to share because you never know what will connect with someone. 🌲🤍
I vote for talking. People just try to tear other people down…in any way. Please don’t let them ruin it for everyone else. You’re awesome. I just subscribed. ❤
I love love love all the trees, but especially the second and third ones ❤❤❤ it’s the first time this year I felt a little bit of a Christmas spirit 🎄and I also adore earth pigments and the granulation effects tgey have 🥰
Haha, I love this! I can relate to so much of what you're saying about creating tutorials...I almost get self-conscious with filming my painting because I realize all the weird things I do when I paint but normally people don't see it. 🤣
Great video ! Thank you 🤩💕 I do not understand why you have had negative comments about talking too much !!??? 😳🤔🥺 I appreciate your narration about the process and absolutely everything that you have described and explained about…..has all been so very helpful. 💕
I'm learning by listening to you. If a viewer just wants quiet meditative entertainment, that's valid and there are many available videos in that style. Those of us who are seeking detailed instructions are benefiting from your sharing!
This is a really helpful and in-depth tutorial. I’ve never seen that spray bottle trick before and will have to give that a go since I always struggle with this type of tree! I also found using the white paint such a beautiful idea. Also, I’d like to add that the props you’ve used for this video are STUNNING, especially that terminated crystal. Thank you for the tutorial!

I love hearing you talking. You have a very soothing voice and I enjoy the instructions all the way through. That helps me a lot. So happy to see you again. Thanks so much. Take care.
I absolutely prefer you talking. You have a beautiful and calming voice. Not sure why anyone would complain about it. Thank you for this Christmas tree idea. They are beautiful😍
Can you show us that white paint...what is it called. It's not a Deep Light color?
It’s called “Bleed Proof White”
I agree, prefer talking. They must have a button they can use called “volume” and turn it off. Such a unique idea! Sorry, just my 2 cents. Lovely video. It’s my first time here. Thank you for your help.

You do you Jackie. It's your style and letting us know what your perspective/approach is does not hurt us in the least. Like these all.
It’s a tutorial- not sure why some people don’t understand that. Your explanations help, thank you
Thank you for this lovely detailed tutorial. I have no problem with you talking through the video. The reason I watch tutorials is to learn the techniques so I appreciate a verbal explanation. And, you have a very nice voice too!
