This is probably my second favourite tradition on the Wulff Den along with the PAX East videos. That commercial is awesome as always with how you go above and beyond with sponsored ads.
for my switch lite and my v1 unit, I usually just use a 5v 2a wall wart or a battery bank that can do 5v 2.4a output. Since it's not usb-c PD there's not too much worry about getting unsupported mixtures of voltage&erage=wattage
It's not made specifically for the Steam Deck or Switch, but for anyone wanting a similar bag to the Tomtoc ones Bahb mentions but with a lot more heft, I use a Chrome Industries Mini Cadet, for what it's worth. The Tomtoc seems better suited for tech specifically with its soft inside, but the Mini Cadet I use is about the same size as (or quite possibly bigger than) the Steam Deck Tomtoc one Bahb talks about. Mine fits my SD and just about everything else I need for a day trip in my city on my bike, and it's very well balanced... but it doesn't have the cushy interior or inside organization, just one big pocket. I like it cause it fits my SD, mouse and sff keeb, along with my bike lock and keys and stuff. It's really more of a short-trip bike bag. As always Bahb, we love you! Wulf’s idea of a light weight bare essentials switch bag takes 13 minutes. My bares essentials: OLED switch, skull & co grip and a mario carrying case from V2 mario bundle and a switch charging brick (it’s a usb c, so I even slow charge my laptop with it). The OLED fits into the case without the grips attached, the grip thingies just go into the backpack.
When we go out, we use a Switch slingbag that fits a Switch with a grip. That has a charger and cables. But we also have a separate backpack for 4 full size controllers, because nobody wants to play on joycons.
We've got almost the same bag, I have the tomtoc bag specifically made for the steam deck. I just put all my steam deck stuff in mine: 8bitdo pro2 controller, foldable bluetooth keyboard w/trackpad, jsaux small dock, deck charger, micro sd to usb converter, soundcore liberty 3 headphones, and my wallet. I absolutely love the bag, it's the perfect size and keeps my steam deck protected. I'm able to fit all my accessories too. For anyone considering getting a tomtoc bag, do it, it's definitely worth it! The materials feel well made. Perfect for EDC.
I wouldn't say the whole get "any old headphone adapter" those things are USB Digital to Audio Converters (DAC), which is built into the motherboard of any device with a headphone jack. Those cheap ones are known to distort the sound profile of music and games. The Apple official one is widely regarded as surprisingly excellent quality for under $20
Loved the Satisfye ad! I was gonna guess it was based off of a 1980s commercial, then when you said "Now you're playing with power" I knew it was some sorta remake of one of the old Nintendo commercials. Pretty good guess from someone who was born in 2000.
I would like to thank that 5 second clip and the Long Island Music Scene Wiki for sending me down the rabbit hole of all the bands you used to be in. Do you think the kids at the Casari show in that hotel realized they were in the presence of The Bob from the Wulff Den????
I use the mophie powerstation 20,000mah portable battery and the same 8bitdo controller. I like that I can recharge my switch and iphone once or twice each without carrying bulky blocks. I do find that when I travel or ride on trains/buses/planes that I cant use the official portable dock charger, or built-in kickstand comfortably so I dont really bring extra joycons or docks. Thanks for the cool bag info, Im definitely going to check it out!
I've had the satisfy group since the first time you you recommended and I have never looked back!! If you have a large hands this is a must! Only way I play in handheld mode

My daily carry bag is pretty similar. I bring my Razer Blade 13", Steam Deck, blade charger, deck charger, C to C cable, charger block with usb-C/usb-A input, and my sony wireless buds. If I'm feelin' spicy, I might bring my mouse. But, most of the stuff I carry with me is just the stuff I don't want stolen if my apartment is broken into. I used to bring my Kindle with me too, but my Samsung Fold pretty much replaced it.
That’s crazy I didn’t expect you to be a drummer in a band let alone doing scream vocals. It caught me off guard but was cool to see since I do scream vocals for fun.
Very true, it's basically a more faithful modernization of the og SNES controller. That might be an option if you're looking to get your setup even smaller.
I've connected my SN30 Pro+ to iPad, Android phone, Switch, and PC. Can confirm that it's very able to connect to dang near everything that supports a Bluetooth controller.
Satisfye’s case and grip bundle is the single best thing you can ever buy for your switch. The ONLY people I wouldn’t recommend this for is people that never play their switch in handheld mode. If you ever use it portably then this product is the best purchase you can make. I promise
A good tip for some people is to run the headphone wires under your shirt then it will less likely get caught on things. my wire is long enough to have it run to my back so the wire doesnt come through the front of the shirt
