Even my parents are elderly parents and I also lower my wing of humility and not say even ufff to my parents. I also could heal from trauma and fulfill their needs so I can personally say this psychiatrist has real Islamic wisdom and real Islamic integrity when it comes to dealing with parents.
You should make Dua for my parents and I they're old age and I take care of them without saying ufff to them. They're Hindu and I'm a devout Muslim and I still exercise good Islamic conscience on them.
I have to ask you Dr. Yusuf why do Ulamas have a hard time with the verse "do not even say uff to your parents". I perceive they speak in a very threatening way. Why do they speak so aggressively and forcefully about that verse.
Ulama culture is so contrary to Quran when it comes to dealing with your parents. Ulamas differently Islamacize Quran when it comes to dealing with your parents.
