Recently Marvel Comics has a big problem with re-using stories and ripping themselves off. While DC is making literal new ones. And it's a carbon copy of that issue when Jean Grey did it to Wolverine cause he wouldn't stop hitting on her.

Oh I get it! Marvel did something similar with Spiderman and Wolverine in the animated series way back when. They had good chemistry and so sis Spidergwen and X23
There was also that time when Loki swapped bodies with Spiderman to give Doc Ock Spiderman blood samples to recreate more Venoms, to confuse the Avengers who's who and to ruin Spiderman's name.
It'll be funny if spidergwen meets gwenpool lol.

Part of me is thinking "That's so cute!" and the other part of me is thinking "Is this the best they can do with X-23 as Wolverine?"
This was just an annual, those are often just done-in-one stories the writer would like to tell that doesn't have to fit all that well in the rest of the run. The regular All New Wolverine book is better and really delves into Laura's past and the Wolverine mythos, it's not amazing, but it's alright.

this was a fun throwback to that one issue from bendis' ultimate Spider-Man. they actually made a tv adaptation in the ultimate Spider-Man tv show. both the comic and the episode are called "freaky". :-) :-)

Assuming that it's X-23 in Logan, I'm glad they casted young giving the actress and character room to grow but if she is supposed to take over the Wolverine role that means it can only be in movies set in 2024+. Do you guys think it will be solo movies, Deadpool movies or X-Force movies she will appear in? Fingers crossed for X-Force with Deadpool on the team
I believe they were going to continue the X-men stories from the Apocalypse movie. So the biggest chance of her appearing as Wolverine is in either a Deadpool or X-force movie in a couple of years.

this is indicative of what's wrong with all new wolverine. she's not x23, the product of over a decade of development, she's just genderswapped teen wolverine.
Reallyrandomcircle she's very different to wolverine. Wolverine would have killed the new hornet without thinking someone would have had to talk him down. Laura is like not so wild with her powers, she was forced to be as a kid and now she's more careful and methodological. She's connected with her clone on a level that Logan never connected with her and she isn't so rage filled. Feels like Laura only a Laura who has worked through a lot of her trauma (something Logan never really did)
Allie Doak but when did she work through this trauma? as far as I can tell her personality just got a switch flipped with all new x-men.

Guys that wrong Eath-1610 and a whole lot of Earth was wrecked after Secret Wars. A lot of Marvel Universes survived Secret Wars you learn this through a few comics. Web Warriors showed a lot of worlds that survived. Spider-Gwen (Spider-woman of Earth-65) is a Web Warrior she can hop to any universe at anytime she wishes with a bracelet that the Web Warriors built.
This is why you see Spider-Gwen in Earth-Prime (Earth-616) a lot she is best friends with Jessica Drew and Cindy Moon (Silk) and soon to be girlfriend of Miles. Spider-Gwen world Earth-65 is still around and it wasn't affected by Sercet Wars at all it was never touch.
Old Man Logan is another example of a world that still around. Amazing Spider-Man: Renew your Vows is a Peter from another Earth that "One More Day" never happened so he and Mary-Jane is still married and had a child that comic is going to follow him around and his Earth survive.
In short cause i can keep going all day with proof, A lot of worlds survived the Secret Wars. I have no damn clue how Comicstorian not know this is very odd to me that someone like him deep in comic not understand this. I am new comic book reader (started during All New All Different Marvel) learned this from me collecting and read a lot of on-going series from Marvel.

I usually dislike when people complain about comics supposedly pandering to SJW's, but that's basically all the Spider-Gwen comic is. Instead of trying to make good stories, the writer is just obviously trying to push his own agenda.
JustDenzell My problem is not even that he has an agenda, is that he doesn't give enought focus to his stablished supporting charather (and his main charather for that matter) and gives a lot of important information throught bio pages instead of actual storytelling, there is something wrong when i care more about her old man in a book that is suppose to be teen rebelious stuff.
So this is where they got the idea in Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon.

Black Reed this universe is getting very interesting.
This story reminded me of the body swap of the Ultimate versions of Wolverine(Logan) and Spider-man(Peter). Also, I thought Johnathan was adorable in his costume.
