Honestly, I am 66 years old now and have been listening to music and going to concerts since I was 12, I have pretty much seen everyone on my bucket list live except for The Beatles, and carried around a thousand plus collection of vinyl from my early teens well into my 30's from apartment to apartment during my nomadic early years. All that being said, First Aid Kit ranks with my favorite groups of all time and certainly are producing the best music I have listened to in the last twenty years, I am absolutely blown away by their level of talent. Marcus Mumford once introduced them as his own musical heroes. Exactly!!! This concert is the perfect showcase for just how good they are, wow!! is all I can say.

Wish I still had those vinyls Lars, sold them all on a whim for 20 dollars, one of the biggest mistakes I ever made in my life. I'm 67 and also have a background of all kinds of music behind those ears of mine…..and YES these girls are talented, thank GOD they're here cause not much is going on these days…...they are a breath of fresh air…...angels from heaven…...glad i discovered them.!
I read a comment on another post about a lady who lost her husband to cancer. She said ‘My Silver Lining’ was his favorite song. That’s what music is. A soundtrack to life. Her story elevated that song for me and it has become an anthem to grit, determination and optimism. Its now 2020. Let’s push through. We will prevail. Together.

After all these years, The Lion's Roar still punches me in the gut as it did the first time I heard it. What a phenomenal song.
It is still their best song. Their performance of "The Lion's Roar" at Glastonbury in 2017 is the best concert video I have ever seen and heard.
Two voices complementing each other as only siblings can!
What's amazing about them is the crowd is made up of 3 different generations. All blown away by their performance.
I am unreasonably obsessed with Klara's guitar picking style. She makes it look so easy!

Thanks for posting. These women should be better known. Since 2012 when I first heard of them in NZ, although I missed seeing them, I have been following their career. They still look so young (compared to me :--) but have matured into great performers. I like that they are fearless in their repertoire, covering anyone they like. They also have managed to assemble a talented bunch of guys to accompany them.
Totally agree. Saw them in Melbourne Australia in early 2018. Loved every second of the concert. Twas only through posts like this that I even heard of FAK and only about 18 months prior to the concert. Absolutely no regrets.

Once again the UA-cam algorithm is better at suggestions than Spotify. What an amazing group, had never heard of them. Clicked on it because I thought someone was jumping on the Kate Bush bandwagon but now that I've listened to their own songs - Wow! New fan here.

Oh my these humans are fantastic! What a great show, wish i'd be there. So many times the hairs on my arms raised during this show, a certain sign of musical quality for me. That transition from Stay gold to Lion's roar was really moving and gave me a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes.. And that rocker with a message, you guys are the real deal in my world. Keep on keeping on!

Amazing, like so many of their covers. Tiger Mountain Peasant Song, Walk Unafraid, America, Dancing Barefoot. I'm almost ready to say that just like Johnny Cash's covers they sound better than the originals even though Fleet Foxes, R.E.M., Patti Smith, Simon & Garfunkel and Kate Bush are all great artists. Can't wait to hear what other classics they'll take on.

First time I've ever heard this concert. I have a lot of experience playing rock and roll. Little bit of country. But I am so impressed by these girls. I hope they go far. I hope they make it to Sacramento California
They did play at Letterman 3 or 4 times and he went down to the stage every time, probably as far as this kind of music goes...

47:26 This part is SOO cute. She's just casually singing along... then it appears she sees herself being projected on the big screen and giggles a bit. Then gets caught back up in the song, trying to act naturally, but slightly reigning in her gusto due to shyness. She captures perfectly how I feel at their concerts. It's hard not to passionately sing along, ha!
