Congrats on reaching 200,000 subscribers. That r/c motor cycle has to be one of the most important innovations in many years. Your onboard shots were great.
Long swing-arm with gnarly paddle tire reminds me of the bikes used for competitive hill climbing. If you've not seen this event before, I recommend givin' it a looksee.
Thing that puts me off running on my local beach is the clean up and wash off after to get rid of the sand (grinding paste) and salt, especially with a working chain drive. 1 hour fun and 2 hours of tearing down, cleaning and rebuilding 🤷🏻♂️
I tend to agree with you Phil, sand is not it's strong suit. Pavement is fun, and a skatepark is much more so! It's amazing what it'll survive. Dirt tracks with whoops, and double jumps are my next favorite. Will we see a skatepark episode, or did I miss it? Love my Losi Promoto!
Regarding the rider sitting position. I drilled a hole above the manufacturers hole Still leaving the re-enforcing in place, so the bodypin doesn't split the rubber.. Then trimmed his lower stomach a tad Allowing the rider to lean forward over the handle bar's. Looks cool and lowering the CG helps the handling.
I'm going to start blaming technology for not `acting my age.` How am I supposed to grow out of toys when they just keep getting better than the stuff I had as a kid.
i think you should try it in the sand with the original front tire. it looked like the front was sliding out in the video causing it to fall. maybe a lighter oil in the rear shock as well? looked a bit stiff.
I like driving my Anderson M5 on smooth-ish, hard-packed dirt. That way you can enjoy sliding around without wearing out your tyres. By the way, Phil, you really did get some cracking shots - 5:33 is a masterpiece!
@@TomleyRC Yes, and you're right about the makeover. Though I was fond of the old look - and race number - it does look really good in those beach shots, and I know I'll get used to the white plastics/black hoodie soon enough.
Was worth waiting for the weather & as always, worth waiting for a new @TomleyRC video! That thing looks so cool with the fresh white panels & Team TRC graphics & hoodie! Roooost for days!!! Great job Sir! 👍💪👏 Cheers PS: I wanna be annoyed by you just for the suggested aliexpress prize 🤣🤣
Great vid! The white panels gave me a 'wow' moment too, looks so clean! Are the hoodies available for sale as they're soooo cool & would be a nice extra custom touch for mine :)
You might have better luck on the sand with the motor cross tire on the front, I would guess the front is washing out because the supermoto tire doesn't have any grip, so you can't turn tight without low-siding. In sand it's really the knobs and or paddles that do the work, especially for turns. It's like riding on ice (but less extreme) - a straight line works well enough, especially if your back tire has extra traction, but try to turn with a normal front tire that isn't biting into the ice, and you'll wash out. (I'm applying normal motorcycle rules to this, but I assume it's the same.) Also the carbon fiber and aluminum parts look so good 😫 Hi just had an idea, what if you made sand ramps/ jumps or a small track at the beach 👀
Wonder how well it would have done with the knobby tire? I find in loose stuff when you want to corner fast and spin the rear tire, I put it in mode 3 (wheelie mode) and turn the AVC all the way down. Allos for good wheel speed and allows it to drift well in the dirt. Havent tried it on sand yet.
that is an amazing rc! i guess its a pretty expensive rc, unlike wltoys that has a decent price. BUT where is the jumping motor scene??! Come on Tomley RC with no jumping scene? Did I miss it in the video?
1 in 4 sacle? I am not from the RC world, I own a supermoto. If this is 1/4 sacle the rims would be 107.95mm, are they? Becuase they look a bit small for that or is that just the camera? for context supermotos use 17in rims.
No stabiliser🤔 The gyro is the stabiliser mate, it's not just for wheelies. I did think it would be difficult to use on sand though, you did pretty good considering the challenge👌
@TomleyRC I'm sure you've spun a bike wheel in your hands and tried to tilt it side to side, the internal gyro works exactly the same. But that's what I ment when I said you done well, even at speeds lower than the gyros ability to keep it upright you got it back quite a few times. Sorry I don't word things very well.
Can you please do a review on the Traxxas Jato 3.3, its the best Nitro Rc ever imo and I think you’d absolutely love it 👍💯 Edit: It’ll be have you wishing every nitro was that good 😊
What power tool are you using to disassemble/assemble that bike? Make and model? I’m looking to get something like that so I don’t have to hand turn hardware on all my RCs.
😎😎😎Damn those hoodies are sexy 😎😎😎

@@TomleyRC my guy
That extended rear arm and that paddle tire it looks amazing
I agree 😎
Should have run it with the knobby front. Thanks Phil nice work.
Yeah, probably
Wow, the shot off the rear of the paddle tire was amazing. I appreciate the videos of these, they are way too complicated for me.
Yeah, I must admit… I’ve watched that bit a few times 😎

I bet cleaning out that sand was a fun experience 😅
It looks like a mini STARG VARG !!! GOOD JOB MATE !!! 👏🤘💚👌👍🫶✌️🐸
De Gatineau Québec Canada !!!
Thank you
Thanks for the great content as always and answering the question of how the extended arms affects the wheelie mode.
That new design is just perfect, the perfect monochrome balance ❤ looks bad boy!
AWESOME!!!
KTM Orange would
be Even Better!
🧡🇺🇸
Can't wait for the 1:1 scale model to drop!!! 🔥 🔥 🔥

What a blast. Maybe next time take the original front tire and see how they compare.
Yes, I think so

Yeah, salt and sand are not a good mix. I left the chain dry… but it still picked a load up
Thanks Phil for another great video. Could you please do a video on how you are mounting the cam to the bike. The shots were amazing!. 👍🏼🚗
Looks alot of fun Phil well done
It was, although I prefer it on road
@TomleyRC can't beat being on that hard stuff thanks
I love the realism in the promoto
Me too!
That bike looks so fun, challenging but fun for certain. Cheers for the videos.
Wow! Now we're talking, Phil!!! 😃
Awesome ride!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

One of my favourites and looks so realistic.
Wow
That takes the Bike to such a new level
I feel like buying one now
Your videos sure do cheer me up on crap days like today. I appreciate all you do my friend!
Yep I did say wow - and was just thinking this is getting a bit like r kev with all the desk top wrk, but then you cut it just in time - cool 😂😂
That thing is awesome. You could use that in a movie for quick shots and I think people would not notice.
Yeah, looks so cool
Looks like so much fun on the beach!
It was.. just not as controllable as on road
It looks amazing but when you had the paddle tyres on there when it tried leaning to turn there's only a little bit of the tyre trying to grip.
Man, what an absolutely gorgeous look, that is awesome! Loved those white pannels
Congratulations on 200.000 subs btw, yipeee 🎉🎉
Lol, those jellyfish were probably like riding through raw eggs 😁 Nice shots!
Looks good on the sand, love the color scheme
Absolutely love this bike Billy is still not a fan still but I think it’s awesome nice video mate 👌👌
Wow, that looks really authentic!
Yeah, I agree
Never seen someone work on one of these. Super cool
slo mo's make it look real, awesome bike, blooming love it 😃👍👍😃
You did such a nice job customizing your ProMoto. Great location and action. 🏆👍
Looks awesome!!!! Love the Lost Pro Moto. Happy RC'ing Y'all!!!!!
looks awesome 😍😍. Great video and fantastic running-footage 👌💯. Have a good one and keep it up Phil 🤜🤛

Very nice...sand and r/c.....awesome fun

Wow what a cool looking little bike so realistic. 🐱
Yes, looks awesome
Congrats on 200k 🎉🎉🎉
Another great video! I want one of these bad boys.
Wow! Makes me really want to buy one :) Very cool!
Goes a little bit better than my Tyco Samurai from the mid 90s.
I'm going to start blaming technology for not `acting my age.` How am I supposed to grow out of toys when they just keep getting better than the stuff I had as a kid.
My favorite dad, POPPA WHEELIE!!!!
I love clean solid colours on my RC bodies with just a few stickers.!!
That's why Traxxash liveries give me such bad vertigo.! 😉 😉

Another banging upload Phil - Top content bro 👏👏👏
Cheers dude
Been launching mine ramp to Ramp around 35-40ft regularly....can only manage to break front wheels. They are tanks!
Yeah, I’ve seen they can take some abuse!
😎🤙 This RC dirt bike is sick! 🔥🔥🔥

I hate the Promoto, but good video. Loved the camera shots of the rooster tails with the camera on the bike

200K subs, what's the best RC youtuber got cooking for us? 🤔
Great video but I think you should have had a different front tire on the front in the sand looked like it was pushing hard👍
Very fun❤

That Puppy Rips!
Awesome, that’ll run on water !!
Need the cross tyre up the front gonna run soo good on sand
i just remeberd 1 of the rare times tomly does a demontation show
That's it. I'm taking the stabilizers off🎉
Come on, Tommly, build some sand jumps. I built some cool little jumps. My bike was catching airtime I posted my videos on tiktok.
that is an amazing rc! i guess its a pretty expensive rc, unlike wltoys that has a decent price. BUT where is the jumping motor scene??! Come on Tomley RC with no jumping scene? Did I miss it in the video?

Tyre diameter is 147mm according to the website specs
It doesnt steer because you run a slick on sand. Put normal mx style tires on and it will work mate
Yeah, probably 👌
That's pretty neat
yeah that dang metric weather
No stabiliser🤔
The gyro is the stabiliser mate, it's not just for wheelies.
I did think it would be difficult to use on sand though, you did pretty good considering the challenge👌
I mean the stabilisers that bolt to the bike to stop it tipping on its side
@TomleyRC I'm sure you've spun a bike wheel in your hands and tried to tilt it side to side, the internal gyro works exactly the same.

Oh my gosh $600!? I wish I could play ball with you boys but that's out of my league. Definitely a sweet little bike though.
I know it has a separate gyro but could you increase the stability by adding weight to the wheels
Dwamn! that thing is too nice 🙃
😎🤟
A 100mph Moto GP bike would be interesting.
Yes, I agree
If you put a offroad moto tire in the front that could help with the control.

Edit: It’ll be have you wishing every nitro was that good 😊
I used to have a Jato.. before I started making videos though
@@TomleyRC Theyre the best nitro imo. 2 speed automatic rwd stadium truck with a unique design all around, whats not to love.
I think its fits with some one that would think its very full of dificillity...😂😂😂
Remember those speed records set on Pendine sands in the 1920's. Why don't you do a RC version of it?
Haha. Sand and sea water, eats all eventually 😅
Could you review the newly released MN168 (2dr Range Rover) or the MN99S V2?
