As an argentinian I'm super proud of him and I'm happy he's getting the recognition he deserves for his work! I often go to Buenos Aires and I can say I recognize a lot of the builds I saw in the video. Puerto Madero looks beautiful and it's super similar to the real life with the port itself, the tall buildings and the trains nearby! 🇦🇷
I am from Argentina too, and I can't believe it was one of us who built that. The place is commonly referred as "Villa 31", and it's a well-known location in the city of Buenos Aires. Amazing.
An absolute chad, he really build a urban jungle all alone! These videos are so fricking sweet of you. I can feel your love for this community, Minecraft, and also history of the world. How many facts you drop about this city startled me.
Fun fact: my regular ol’ house is considered a church by Google. My great grandfather, who used to live in the house, was a reverend. Yet that doesn’t explain why the house itself is considered a church. He never hosted church here, or preached a sermon on a Sunday. He pastored at an actual church around 45 minutes away by car.
Locations names and details can be changed by regular people, I've corrected many locations of my local area myself. Maybe someone for some reason made it a church, you can change that though.
Dude, I absolutely love these videos, I get hype watching every single one... But, please buy a pop filter. I bet you can get one for less than $10. lol (A pop filter, for those that don't know, is a filter for a microphone made to filter plosives, those hard p, t, and b sounds that blow air directly at the mic, causing distortion or "pops.")
I have multiple pop filters on. I've invested 1000 in audio quality, watch online tutorials, no matter what I do it still sounds kind of good in some videos and like shit in others
@@PippenFTS The way you said that, "I have multiple pop filters on." I just wanna be sure... You know that the pop filter is a physical object attached to your physical microphone, right? I've never seen anyone use multiple pop filters, so I'm just making sure. lol But, also could be a technique thing. Have you tried not talking directly at the mic? Should be just slightly off center so that your breath isn't going directly at it.
It really is amazing what that guy managed to do. In any case, I want to say that they do not romanticize poverty (this is not the case in the video), the Mugica neighborhood or Villa 31 is an illegal settlement where people usurped land, first by Europeans and in the last 40 years by foreigners from South America. In that place there is a lot of crime and people do not live well. I only want to say this because I don't want that place to become touristy, as is the case in India or Cuba.
Holy shit! You would beleieve me if I recognize the city when I ff the video, then went back to check if was Buenos Aires ( where im currently living )
0:30 on bedrock you can compare yourself to your friends in statistics like these and i think this i a good thing. It motivates and creates competition to beat. It also shows how you play the game in if you are a "builder" , "adventurer", or play creative and survival. But they should increase the amount of stuff which is actually shown to an extent like java tracks it but in coverage of all worlds combined.(sry for weird language, I am not a native englisch speaker)

how do I scale my city? how did he calculated the measures? I'm trying to build my house on scale 1block=50cm but the whole thing is disproportionate. is there a method to calculate everything without trying and trying 1000 times making it work? programs maybe? ps. I'm from ps4 :(
He could have used Google Earth's Pro height feature for the height of the buildings, or maybe OSM buildings. Also, you can put a protractor as an extension in Google Earth Pro for the angles. If not, you could measure a straight line until it's at the same height as the place where you wanna be, and then a line to the side where you wanna build. I know it doesn't make sense but like: you measure 12 meters on the straight line, so you build 12 blocks up; then if there are 3 meters from the line and the place where you wanna build, you build the 3 blocks on the direction, and you break all blocks except the edges, and you join them with the blocks in-between. (Sorry if you don't understand, I don't know a better way to explain it)
I have to ask... Because you people are creating the Earth in Minecraft from a moment in time. This area here no longer look like this, it has progressed to a better standard of living by today... You capture moments in time, such as how this town looked like in the past, how it looked like around 2016... But here's the question... Build the Earth itself isn't a project that captures the Earth in one specific time frame. It's not like: "Here is the entire Earth as of this date specifically" Different cities being made are made from different times. One place might be made from 2012, another might be made as it was in 2017 and another as it stood in 2021... So, don't you fear that these differences in time might clash with areas built? What if a big city gets started to be built from two separate ends. One end has images from 2013, the other end has images from 2023. And then the two sides meet in the middle and due to major changes having happened in the structure of the building, what do you do? Like... If it leaves a obvious gap in modernization of buildings because of this, what do you do? Which year do you choose to go with? How do you solve that potential issue? That is my biggest question to the people working on this project.
0:16 easy? EASY? Bro do you have no idea how hard that is just to have a simple leaderboard, let alone 1000’s of statistics for over 100 MILLION players
