    Mmmm! delicious 😋👍! When I was child there was a bakery in my neighborhood that made jam doughnuts & I loved them. Unfortunately the bakery closed down! Your recipe reminds me of these doughnuts.       I would think plain flour as she uses yeast (we call it plain flour in the UK meaning flour without raising agents)

      You could make them the night before and store them in a cake tin without the icing sugar. The next morning simply dust them with the icing sugar & ready.

    to all cakes or sweet bakeries one should always add a little salt. If not, there will be something missing in the taste!
    für alle Kuchen oder süß Gebackenes sollte man die Prise Salz nicht vergessen, sonst fehlt beim Geschmack etwas.
    Pour tous les gateaux ou patisseries on devait mettre un peu de sel, si non il manque quelque chose au goût. Bon appetit et Merci pour tous vos recettes!

      It appears she doesn't reply . her recipe s are lovely but she doesn't state what flour to use whole or self-raising etc , plus most of her quick foods take about 3 hours to prove 😂 if you are not really hungry for breakfast it ll be ready for dinner time 🤣👍🏻

      @@carolwinder7769 Hi, Carol. I used All Purpose. I made two attempts. I under-kneaded the first time and found, as you did, they were quite heavy. I went longer next time (~10-15min) and achieved a better result.
