    I think it just like the cream inside choux pastry, which is one of my favorite food.

      Yes, I mean the pastry cream for choux.
      I even eat the pastry cream with plain bread, and it is sooo delicious.

      Yes you're right, I work in a French pastry shop and the way she make the cake is very similar to the cream we use for our pastry. She uses flour instead of cornflour, but the result is the same, just that she bakes it instead of hardening the cream in the pan (Sorry if my sentences don't make sense, I'm not English but French 😅)

    I've just subscribed to your wonderful channel because of your delicious recipes and your presentation of them. I appreciate that you show the steps, have the ingredients shown on the page, you don't have annoying music playing during the video and you don't need to talk to convey the method. This makes for a very practical video presentation of a recipe and it's very much appreciated!
    I usually end up writing a recipe down to actually make it as the video presentation is too long winded whereas, with yours, I can actually use the video while I'm making the dish. Thank you so much for an enjoyable, practical channel!

      @Icecream Headache oh man monk fruit sweetener taste just like real sugar no after taste at all. I enjoy it much and tell others about it. It really has zero aftertaste .. and sweet like sugar.. it’s the best alternative sweetener for diabetes or for anything there is.

      @Icecream Headache I sprinkled it on thin apple slices with some cinnamon an dehydrated them. So good and different for applied slice. A pleasant snack

      @Icecream Headache and I’m gonna try it on sweet potatoes.. it made a nice sugar crust on the apple slices. If you don’t have a dehydration device use the oven. I surprised myself they turned out to be pleasant snack.

    good recipe, when I prepare that dessert, I will add a little vanilla essence to enhance its flavor even more. I think I will dispense with the lemon juice, and only use the zest.

    I just made this, and it is easy, delicious and I can't stop eating it! This would be perfect for people who have digestive issues too, though perhaps it might be better with just vanilla instead of lemon for that, but it is just a great recipe. Thank you!

      Did you use cream of wheat or farina? Also, how long did you cook it? I'm in Kentucky and I've never noticed farina in the grocery store.

      @@stellamozzarella1 No problem! I hope it works out. I can't imagine this going spectacularly wrong. It's a simple recipe. The failure modes would probably be "too eggy", "dense bready", "not setting liquidy", all of which don't seem catastrophic. Even if it doesn't set properly, just use it as a sweet creamy topping for ice cream or waffles or some such. :)
      Btw, there are translations, if you turn on Closed Captions.

      Oh yes, Cream of Wheat will make it very dense, but it should still taste good. I was thinking perhaps this would be good cut into smallish chunks, rolled in flour and fried in butter. Of course, I like to imagine almost everything rolled in flour then fried in butter. :-D

      María da graça...
      4 ovos
      150 gramos de açucar
      150 gramos de farinha peneirada
      Raspas de 1 limao e o suco do limao
      450 ml de leite
      Untar a forma e levar al forno aquecido a 180 graus , mais menos 1 hora . Esfriar e desenformar e colocar açucar glas por cima.

      Действительно. Лучше приготовить омлет, всё равно этот расхваленный десерт пахнет яйцами. Сделала один раз и больше никогда делать не буду.

      Albo jak niewyrośnięte ciasto. Bo w sumie to jest takie ciasto - takie gumowate niewyrośnięte. Nie robiłem co prawda ale widać na filmie. Tylko jak nie wyrośnie to się mówi - nie udało się.

      @@basia8950 Może niektórzy nazywają to zakalcem. Ja zakalec, to rozumiem ciasto papkowate w środku, które się wcale nie ścisnęło/nie upiekło.

      @@basia8950 Rozumiem :) W każdym razie ja raczej tego przepisu nie przetestuję. Ciasto albo jest sernikiem albo ciastem a to jest nie wiadomo co i w dodatku przypomina nieudane ciasto.

    Ok, Subscribers! Is it just me or do you also just love how Rita cuts a nice big slice of whatever she cooks?
    I am a little over robust but when I watch this Sardinian Sweetheart make something positively as luscious as it is simple, I have to make it. I try not to overdo it. I really try. : /

      Ambrose McLaren, no harm having some extra padding for the Winter. I'm trying to decide if should save recipe or just make it. If I make it I'll scoff the lot. Would be lovely with big dollop of Baileys Irish cream. Best wishes from the Emerald Isle.

      I did make it. My grandson loved it. I really like her quick desserts. Am going to make the ten minute donuts this weekend. Might sneak a little sour cream in the mix. :)
