The failure modes would probably be "too eggy", "dense bready", "not setting liquidy", all of which don't seem catastrophic. Even if it doesn't set properly, just use it as a sweet creamy topping for ice cream or waffles or some such. :) Btw, there are translations, if you turn on Closed Captions.

She uses flour instead of cornflour, but the result is the same, just that she bakes it instead of hardening the cream in the pan (Sorry if my sentences don't make sense, I'm not English but French 😅)

@Icecream Headache oh man monk fruit sweetener taste just like real sugar no after taste at all. I enjoy it much and tell others about it. It really has zero aftertaste .. and sweet like sugar.. it’s the best alternative sweetener for diabetes or for anything there is.

Did you use cream of wheat or farina? Also, how long did you cook it? I'm in Kentucky and I've never noticed farina in the grocery store.

There are tonnes of recipes of eggless cakes & have been for years!
Eggs have a high fat content so if you get sick from fat in your diet like me...U quickly get used to Not using eggs ....it can make people sick!

150 gramos de açucar
150 gramos de farinha peneirada
Raspas de 1 limao e o suco do limao
450 ml de leite
Untar a forma e levar al forno aquecido a 180 graus , mais menos 1 hora . Esfriar e desenformar e colocar açucar glas por cima.
