Thanks for taking us along! The manticore with the M8 is a nice combo for shallow gold for sure. Any thoughts as to preference of Manticore vs Monster? I have been experimenting with both and mostly use the Monster with 5" coil to pinpoint after locating targets with the 6k and 17" coil. When I tried that with the manticore it created wild backfeed for the 6k. They do not like to be close to each other. Not such a problem with the monster. Still learning the manticore though and like the target ID and visual target shape feature.
@@RelicsRings I sure have. Have to turn it off Manticore to allow the 6k to operate. 7k has more frequencies so it may do it. Should get to check it out this week trip.
I prefer the Manticore. You wouldn't think the 2D screen would be useful gold nugget hunting. But it's actually pretty nice and gives a lot of information about the target under the coil.
@@RelicsRings I can see that being a benefit! Cool, once the snow decides to stop here in Northeastern Nevada, im hoping to get the 900 out along side the GPX5000 for some nuggies! Thank you for the video!
@MrAnimal-Subscribe depth will depend on nugget size and soil mineralization. 10th gram and under size nuggets are pretty much on the surface. 1/2 grams you might get 3 inches on. I've found about 20 nuggets with the Manticore and most have been 2" deep ot less.
thanks for that first one ive seen with the core looks capable
Nice work Andy!
Thanks
Another loving it vid Andy! Thanks.
Thanks Dave. One of these days when our schedules aline, we need to go out.
@@RelicsRings that would be great. Let's get 'er done!

I don't have the Gold Monster, so I can't really give you an opinion. Have you tried noise canceling the 6k while the Manticore is on?

Fun day, nice to see the manticore in action on gold
Thanks, the Manticore does really well on gold nuggets with the most recent update.
Where was the location? Arizona?
Great video, thank you! Do you like the 900 on gold as much as you do the Manticore?

@RelicsRings how deep you think it can detect with this coil? Also, if the nugget would be bigger , would still sound even if is deep?

@@RelicsRings thank you and when would you use the bigger coils on the manticore? Thanks
Any updates on the TDI beetle?
Nothing new going on with it.
What are the settings and the highest sensitivity that is turned on?
I went through my settings in the video. The Manticore can go to 35 on sensitivity, but it's often not usable at that setting.
@@RelicsRings I'm talking about raw gold settings
@@RelicsRings Can you explain the settings clearly, because it is not clear in the video
@@1995H8 gold mode, sensitivity 19-20, recovery 5-6, stock ferrous limits, prospecting audio theme, tracking ground balance, no disc and stock threshold.
@@RelicsRings If you want a little depth too
