I wish I could've been around to see these cars in action and live that life back in the late 60's through early 70's. Thanks for checking out the video!

With all tha cars that AMC has produced, The 60's AMC Rebel, the 1971-1974 AMX Javelin and the 1970 AMC The Machine (red, white and blue) are my favourites ones. I love The Machine with its 390 cid beautiful car.....yes again 1970 was the best year for most of the muscle cars. This car would definitively take a place in a collection because the machine is BEAUTIFUL and nobody talk about that; it's like the Plymouth Duster with the 340 CID. Good video thank you!

Thanks for checking out the channel, and you are right about the lack of people giving praise to these beautiful machines.

My father trys to not drive his at night, but just after sunset coming home from cruise night, seeing the stripes light up from headlights or the street lights is really cool.

+Sub. For showing one of my favorite cars of all time. The paint alone on that car is worth the price of admission.
Giant industry of making machines called cars......AMC goes and makes a car and calls it "The Machine." Brilliant.

Thanks for checking out the video! Not many people have a clue what this car even was. The first time I filmed the car I had a bunch of people just standing around listening to me talk about the car because they had no idea. Also thanks for the sub!

@@myclassiccarstoryLOL, I probably would've been standing around listening too! I learned some new things about the car from what you said.

@@michaelwinchester8153 Glad to hear man. A lot of people look at me think I don't know anything about classic cars since I am only 35, truth be told I was the kid that was always in detention because I had a car craft or hot rod magazine laying on top of my school book instead of paying attention to the teacher. I knew at a very young age my life would revolve around classic cars.

@@myclassiccarstoryLOL, I love it! I was the same, except I always knew the answer when they tried to catch the "evil" longhaired metalhead in the back. You want to see a teacher's brain crap itself? Goof off, get straight A's and answer correctly from behind a comicbook.
The educational system tells us we can be "anything we want to be" but the second one of us wants to be something other than an inept socialist.....ugh.
You are blessed to know what you want to do and to be in it. Always remember that.

@@michaelwinchester8153 Yea I was in history class and we were going over WW2 history. Like usual I wasn't paying attention but I love WW2 history and knew more than most people my age. He kept asking questions and no one was getting them right. I was buried in that months issue of hot rod magazine. He said, "BIEKER PAY ATTENTION!" I started laughing and said, "why I already know all these answers." After 5 minutes of drilling me he realized I was telling the truth. I always felt school was a giant waste of time once I got into High School.

A great video here. Thank you. I saw your video about the pontiac gto. also that you like the pontiac brand in general. I noticed you have a toy collector car set up in the background. I'm not sure if you know this. Did you know that johnny lightning came out with a 1974 pontiac gto in a red color. it is listed as fourteen dollars. I bought two of them. One to keep and one to open. Since you can actually open the hood of the car. It is very detailed. It is a very limited edition. It is easy to search for and buy. They also came out with a white lightning but those are all grabbed up and selling at a higher price by collectors. Perhaps you can talk about your other collector cars in a video also. There was also an article in auto evolution that came out this year that you can find on the internet. Apparently the pontiac gto that you talked about in the video had only ten dealer installed air induction systems on the hood of the car. I heard there is only one car like that left which is verified apparently from somewhere else on the internet. That would make it extremely rare and valuable. I believe they installed it in the top of the line pontiac gto like the one in the video. I heard that the reason they didn't install it themselves was because it would make the car very loud. Which doesn't make a lot of sense. However they at least could get a dealer to install it. Anyway, I'll leave this up for now.

Thanks for checking out the video. I've never though about doing a video of my die cast car collection but I am sure there are people like who would be interested in it. I'll see about maybe getting a video uploaded of them for you.

@@myclassiccarstory glad I could offer that idea. you are very welcome. I know a lot of other people that would be interested I'm sure. I suggest checking out the johnny lightning 1974 pontiac gto when you can. they are selling it at various sites. However, if you want to purchase it, you'll need to buy it soon. what surprised me is they included the side chrome on the bottom of it on both sides of the car. I believe it was an option, because if you look at those cars in google images, you will notice that some don't have it and it is just painted the same color as the car. With that option it made the car flashy. It is also a guard that protected it against rocks and debris that would hit the bottom on each side. the optional chrome around the side windows is not there, but they do have the chrome above the side windows that was standard. It even has the passenger side mirror on it. Also the optional front bumper guards. They also included the back bumper guards also. There is even chrome surrounding the back window. Just a bit remarkable that they would include all these little details, along with some I didn't even mention, including emblems, and other little details, for a car that is so tiny.
