@@DerDoMeN The point is the world is poisoned or simply unlivable. Bravo, what a story of where so many of us are in our lives Waiting to graduate, waiting to marry, waiting to have kids, waiting to for the lottery that will save us from a dying planet. BRAVO
Watched three of these Thousand Suns episodes so far, and this hit hard. Only 3 minutes to tell a story, and it was told so effectively, and with such economy!
This is fucking bloody awesome! it makes me wonder? WTF happened to cinema? bad after bad movies, remakes, uninteresting and boring to death. What happened to originality? We want, we NEED stuff like this, that makes us be glued to the screen. fucking brilliant.
Cinema is alive and well. Oh, not in the west, the west is fucked, cinema is only one of the things that are fucked. But other countries, they're doing good. 85|% of the planet is fine.

Absolutely incredible. Beautifully shot, great acting, powerful and simple story. More emotion packed into under 5 minutes than some features! Love this series!
I just binge watched the first three of these in the last fifteen minutes. These are genuinely good and have the feel of the early 1960 Outer Limits TV show. Excellent work from BlackMilk Studio! Keep it up, you have a hit in the making! Kudos!
The more things change, the more things remain insane. A wee glimpse into our futures. Amazing little sci-fi journeys. All well worth the watch. I really would like to see more. Who are 'Blackmilk Studios'? Slick sci-fi shorts with deep roots. Brilliant series.
What a wonderful little film. Powerful beyond it's short length. A delightful and refreshing response to the tired, tedious and bloated Hollywood sci-fi these days.
Love Death & Robots started as mini anthology also. And they are the best out there right now in my view. Good luck to this people at this project also.
This episode is fucking art. Art. When you have a such a powerful message such a powerful meaning the technological part even if it's great it doesn't matter so much. Even if it's not sci-fi thematic, matter the colors and forms and templates. The idea the truth is transcendental and you can see it and feel it. Awesome job.
Why does the scene of the Mother at 2:30 look so much like Dorothea Langs famous, picture "Migrant mother" of the woman in the dustbowl era, that can not be coincidence.
I started participating in the Green Card lottery when I was 17. I was seeing myself young and strong in a year or two in Los Angeles. Maybe in three... Early 20s in the worst case. It was almost 30 years ago. I'm still playing. It can't be much longer.
A nice look at those on the short end of the stick in something like Interstellar. Not everyone gets out.
Well everyone gets out...but some on a path less traveled..... as for the little people like you or me "it can't be much longer now"💀
You say short end of the stick and I'd do almost anything to stay behind... A whole world to play with and experiment!

Bleak. Grim. Raw. Sad. Realistic. Absolutely heartbreaking and captivating. The last moments really hit me in a way I haven't felt in a long time.

Brilliant, "A Thousand Suns" is a outstanding mini series and I'm only at episode 3.
Watched three of these Thousand Suns episodes so far, and this hit hard. Only 3 minutes to tell a story, and it was told so effectively, and with such economy!
perfectly crafted emotional twist
What twist? It was quite predictable.
mind blown short story with a strong message. I can feel the dire tension of holding on to a hope by being oblivious to reality

@antediluvianatheist5262 it's even worse in the east, lol. More original, yes, but the story quality is much worse
Dammit! You took "Show, don't tell" to the next level. Top tier.
Brilliant. So much packed in 4 minutes.
It was so predictable. Yawn.

Brilliant! Genius! I love existential SF.
Oh my God, this is the best short film I've ever seen. There is such a deep meaning in such a short video
So powerful. This is the sort of feature length sci-fi we all deserve
This series is extremely well done.
god these are so amazingly done - i hope all these get made into longer films or shows based off these ideas. cus 5mins is so much of a tease.

This is simply amazing. One of the best short films. The context and message of the film is very strong.
wow this is really good. Very sad, wonderfully shot, and acted and the VFX are on point and not overused. Brilliant job

What a great soundtrack! Top notch quality!
Hopefully we'll get to hear the soundtracks separately.

I’m all in on this series. If nothing else, the name of the studio is for me, referencing one of my favorite songs ever.

Out the Thousand Suns series, this one is my favourite. Has a powerful story to it.
Perfect! I like the actors, the ideas, the playing... I like all. Thanks!
This is so well written, shot and edited. Stunning in its bleakness. Best of the series, perhaps.

Now that is what I call real sci-fi!! Awesome job.
alright... we're cooking with gas now! Favourite story snippet so far, of the first 3 episodes.
💯🤔 Absolutely fantastic. What is the music that plays at near the ending? When the girl is looking at the ship?
Reminds me of Oats Studios shorts on N'Flix. We need more!
This was super dark and grounded in way too much reality. I guess it's the horror of truth.
Nice job dropping "Of Time and the River" in that shot...touche!
Wow a powerful story! Keep up the great work
Remembers me of Neil Blomkamp Oats Studios
That "look" they gave each other @3:35 was extremely good!
so emotional!
