Great ideas. Mine are growing sideways too, but my flower bed is slightly sloped. And this is making the side growth worse. But I will be using your method immediately. Thanks! 🌹🥀 Oh, btw....my Jack Russell loves my roses too, but I keeps him out of them. ☺️
I have some knock out roses that I planted this year (early spring) and they are doing well but I want to relocate them to a roomier area. When would be the best time to transplant them?
Hey Doc, Can you do another video this year updating the progress of your roses? I'll be planting some knock out roses this year and interested to see how this method helped shape the roses.
I did this a few years ago by tying them to the fence they were near, so essentially the same. You basically will always have to keep up with it because all new growth will still grow towards the sun.
Doesn’t help me. My rose bush is 9 foot + tall and wider than 8foot wide and the roots are pulling up due to the strong winds. How can I prop that up to save the bush from uprooting and or breaking. The white roses are glorious and I don’t want to lose them. Any bright ideas please!
Love this channel. My go to when I have anything to do with my lawn or gardening.

Doc how about trimming some of the thin growth before you tie them back?
Thanks for the idea.. My Belinda's Dream is leaning to one side, almost touching the ground on one side.

Interesting. I do have a question. Wouldn’t you be concerned about not enough air flow in your roses?
Your yard is pretty thank you for the info
I have the exact problem with my knock outs leaning towards the sun ,going to try this thanks.
Just re-tied mine this week.
Oh wow your Jack Russell looks like my old one, CoCo...one of my favorite dog breeds(smooth haired).
