  • A very quick trick on pruning or actually managing your knock out roses. Takes about 30 seconds per bush and they look great. Keep them from falling over.

Great ideas. Mine are growing sideways too, but my flower bed is slightly sloped. And this is making the side growth worse. But I will be using your method immediately. Thanks! 🌹🥀 Oh, btw....my Jack Russell loves my roses too, but I keeps him out of them. ☺️

Doc how about trimming some of the thin growth before you tie them back?

I have some knock out roses that I planted this year (early spring) and they are doing well but I want to relocate them to a roomier area. When would be the best time to transplant them?

Hey Doc, Can you do another video this year updating the progress of your roses? I'll be planting some knock out roses this year and interested to see how this method helped shape the roses.

I did this a few years ago by tying them to the fence they were near, so essentially the same. You basically will always have to keep up with it because all new growth will still grow towards the sun.

Interesting. I do have a question. Wouldn’t you be concerned about not enough air flow in your roses?

Doesn’t help me. My rose bush is 9 foot + tall and wider than 8foot wide and the roots are pulling up due to the strong winds. How can I prop that up to save the bush from uprooting and or breaking. The white roses are glorious and I don’t want to lose them. Any bright ideas please!
