My double Knockout rose gave me so many flushes last summer I couldn't count. It would be finishing a flush and a new one was already starting. I would lightly fertilize it after each flush and kept it deadheaded even though it's said they're self cleaing. I'd not trade my knockout bush for anything!

My get over 6 feet tall in one season. We can cut them in the middle of the season and they will still pop back up. We have full sun all day. No trees blocking the way.

I just bought 6 of these on a clearance rack for $8.88 each having in mind to planting them along the perimeter of my backyard property for height & color then hearing at the end of the video deer love them & will eat them to the ground. Deer ARE a problem in that area. I thought rose thorns would absolutely be avoided by them. Great, I just paid $56 for Deer food 😥

After watching your video, I regret not having any shrubs. In addition, I possess a strawberry-vanilla hydrangea tree in the exact location. Do you recommend any shrubs that complement each other to increase density or interest in winter?

Can I plant them next to the house? Does the root cause problems to the house like mold...? I’m in zone 9 . And second question is our left side of the house ( where I want to plant them )only 5 1/2 ft wide and from that 5 1/2ft wide that we shared the grass with our neighbor whom we don’t want to bother there lawn. Should i plant knock out rose along that side without to close to harming the house plus make sure the rose doesn’t spread over the neighbor in the future? Thank you!

I watched your videos but did not see one on how to make your roses grow upward and not lay flat. My Knock Out Roses are pretty much established and are doing great. However, during the growing season it has a tendency to spread out and are close to the ground. Is there away I can get them to grow more upward instead of spreading out? I thought about tying a string around the branches, but not sure if that is the correct way to get them to start growing taller.

I love your channel. I have a question about roses. I have two rose bushes I rescued from someone's back yard a few years ago. They have never been in the ground, but I transplanted them using good container soil. I water them and use rose fertilizer. They grow great and get new growth whenever I cut them back. One of them actually died back to the ground right after I got it, and I assumed it was just dead, but it came back. My problem is, they have never bloomed. What can I do to get these girls blooming?

That's a normal cycle of a rose. I feed my roses every 2 weeks and water everyday (if no rain) holding hose at base full blast for a 10 count and have very good results. Make sure to dead head prune to promote new growth. To have great roses be prepared to be in your garden every other day if not every day.
