What an absolute labor of love this must have been! A spectacular showcase of the power of XIV's storytelling, and an amazing highlight of a very emotional expansion.

hey thanks. i didn't see this comment until now. It was quite an undertaking as it took me three separate attempts to actually get a finished product and I was learning a new editing program aha. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

It’s true, I’m uncertain of the future. Sometimes there are moments where it may be easier to give up but I’m still standing here. I’d rather live for the present and for the future! I won’t let countless possibilities be taken away from me on a whim!
Thank you for making this, after finishing Endwalker myself- I struggled with the empty feeling you get after finishing an excellent story. And this was perfect for letting me feel that joy, pain, and everything else again. What an incredible tribute.

This was quite the treat for the algorithm to send me. This is an amazing tribute for Endwalker. The voice over placements were so well timed, the transitions were strung together near perfectly. It emphasized the scenes to an amazing extent. I saw that some people weren't too keen on the length but you did great with keeping everything coherent within 30 minutes for it is a lengthy campaign. Truly astounding work.
yea like I told that other person 30 minutes is pretty long but I just felt like I was only gonna do one EW tribute and wanted to make it have a bit of the whole journey. glad you liked it

Had me tearing up, laughing and pulsing with an anger I never quite got over all at once, which is impressive. The music, my experience with the game and the voice-overs pull a lot of the legwork but I give credit to how you pieced it all together, even still.

Whenever Ultima Thule Pops up, I Always tear up. It Will forever remind me of the path I took to Get there, and the Sacrifices along the way, to know that they were all eventually worth it.
Just finished the 6.0 MSQ last night with my friend after years of playing once or twice a week. This has been a fantastic journey and this is a fantastic tribute to it.

I've been following you for awhile, I LOVE your tributes, and I've shared them. I'm shocked you only have X amount of views, I love this video, and listen on every road trip, and time I'm relaxing, thank you, such a beautiful video, that hits... hard... 10 years in the making, I hope Final Fantasy MMOs will live longer than me

Absolutely loved this composition of story and song. You really captured the emotion of key moments, especially by tying certain parts of the story with later moments. It's a great video, and I particularly loved the idea that it's your character taking a moment while lying in the water to reflect on everything that's happened.

Usually avoid recommendations related to main scenario, but this time I got interested - and did not regret it.
Your skill is beyond praise! Such a competent rearrangement of frames, the imposition of replicas and music not only did not distort, but also emphasized the essence. Endwalker. End of the line. A new beginning. This drawing is colored with all shades of joys and sorrows, the conclusions that the characters come to... A delightful, final chord.
I deeply admire how you managed to convey this. Wonderful job!
Sometimes I get imposter syndrome and think "was this really worth putting together?" because of how long it took lol but comments like yours solidify that it was worth doing and I thank you very much!
@@Avrahffxiv I want to echo what Soupqueene said. You pieced this together beautifully. Also to be shown the memories alongside the current decisions the characters make struck me harder. Yes, I also cried at certain points. Honestly, I didn't realize it was thirty minutes. I started watching, got sucked up in it, and before I knew it, it was over. So, yes, I do believe it was worth your putting this together. Thank you so much for doing it.

I haven't interacted much with Runescape. I'm glad you got into FFXIV and managed to put out this amazing content.
You don't happen to plan on a Heavensward tribute by any chance?
@@NorthWolf97 i haven't thought about doing tributes for older stuff. I considered my Warrior of Light tribute to be everything up to SHB. Then the EW tribute is purely EW. But the Warrior of Light tribute seems to be most people's favorite from the comments. (it's the one with "shepherd to the stars" in the thumbnail)
What a beautiful game.
Xenos and his obsession/rivalry with you across expansions is something I love, I really hope this isn't the end of him. He gets our character in a way the others don't ( even if he is a bit fruit loops )
I thought they removed the Ninja's ability to cut onions in the last patch - I was lied to.
Try as I might, every time I hear Answers, with or without context, I fucking sob. This video was no exception.
My only complaint is that you cut my favorite song in the entire OST from the part where it plays, right when Zenos shows up to help you out at the end.
That's Zenos's theme. yea it's awesome aha but didn't want to have just a small chunk of a song since that part is relatively short.
What song is playing in the background for the first 110secs?? Please.. tell me.

It was honestly one of the best ways it could have ended. Even though I am a little disappointed there were no lasting consequences following the final days aside from losing Hydaelin (who hasn't done anything special since ARR). I feel like Heavensward still packs the greatest punch because we lose Haurchefant, the person who was basically our best friend and the only one to help us after the Sultana's "death", Ysayle, and Papalymo. After that, it seems like everyone's plot armor got so thick that I'm not even afraid of losing any more scions. (Especially Y'shtola, who manages to "die" at least once every expansion).
Y'shtola dying every expac and threatening to bend us over her knee.
I have to say, this was a good, but in between, around 9:55 - 9:57, I felt like that was a hard transition from Answers to Ultima Thu.
there are worse transitions later in the video.
I'm going to be honest, I liked the Shadowbringers tribute way more. This is way to long and I also don't think the music choices in the latter part are ideal. It's also too long parts of full cutscene replays in my opinion. Yes, the original is great but it's not what I would have wanted from a video like this. Sry

@@Someone-dv7hw no worries at all. I am brainstorming what to do next. But yea I only ever intended to make one Endwalker tribute video. It definitely is TOO long and the analytics reflect that. But my intention was to kind of "summarize" the entire journey. It could have been done differently but it was pretty difficult to decide what direction to take it. For the next project i'd like to just do something different entirely, ffxiv related but who knows lol.
