@@kindredcorgi9795 I mean sure I imagine 6.1-6.5 will be pretty chill, that's fair it's a nice palette cleanser, but the thing is, we're so damn powerful now. So if the creators don't put something absurdly powerful against us then it wouldn't make sense for it to challenge us unless we somehow pull a pikachu and go back to the equivalent strength that we were in ARR somehow... we kicked the shit out of something that has wiped out more planets than we could count, could convert people's aether into pure dynamis just by singing for 7.0 and onwards if the enemy isn't a challenge, then what's the point in fighting? as the Scions said, the lesser enemies such as Primals are the duty of the Grand Companies now. 7.0 gonna debunk all other expansions. It’s the same thing but different directions. Eventhough, you’re powerful and kind. Actually, Ardbert's last line is from the Heavensward patches. It's what he says when he and the Warriors of Darkness try to murder you before Urianger shows up.
Fantastic work compiling these together! I'd like to think that these are those moments that are deeply ingrained in the Warrior of Light's (as a character in the story, not as the player) memory and how that was shown was absolutely beautiful.

It was worth the ten years it took to get here. I can't wait for New Game + of Endwalker so I can go emotionally destroy myself again.
god damnit. I just woke up, this showed up in related videos, and now I'm a crying mess all over again. Thank you for the edits, this is amazing and I'm sharing it immediately!

this video is perfect, thank u. i have a university brief for illustration, to make a motivational poster, and i had planned to use a quote from ffxiv because though it's take on life is rather existentialist, it helps me get thru the days where my pain is worst. this video will be a great source for some of the best quotes ❤
This part in the story was just a lot for me. As soon as the music started playing my eyes became watery. I read the buff we had during this and a tear dropped from my eye. I take the first few steps forward and when I hear "If you need a push, I'll be right there behind you" I stop, bury my face in my hands and cried for a good ten minutes because I knew what the rest of this "Endwalking" was gonna be like. And when I continued forward, with each step I cried more and more. I just simply love this game...so much.
I first downloaded the game all the way back in 2.1. I decided it wasn't for me and went back to wow. Picked it back up aboit a month before ew released and finished it about a month ago. This video makes me wish more than ever that I had stuck with it. My walk had me racking sobs but at the same time determined to see it through. I can't even imagine how I would've felt had I stayed the first time
Wow... I always thought the Beq Lugg line was Matoya speaking. Same voice actress, maybe? Really love this compilation. On a side note, when I was a female Lalafell... yours and mine were very similar.
Yea it’s also FF4 or 5 references I think. Less ppl noticed but EW included all the titles tie together from 1 to 14 (except 15 because it’s coming after) They are either music, character, dialogues, scenarios, combat mechanics, boss design, and secrets. You can see all of that on top of each expansion even 1.0. It’s a massive task for sure.
I started playing this game at the behest of my at the time gf. Since then, we've ended it off quite poorly, and I personally feel it best not to try and fix it. However, if there is one thing that I would appreciate, it's getting me into this game. A game that has brought me to tears of joy and sadness that I greatly love. A game that has introduced me to some great people whom I am very appreciative of their company. If anyone in my FC, The Mandervillians, on Exodus sees this, I thank you for accepting me into the FC that night. You all are such great people. To anyone who sees this and has met similar people to hang out with, I am happy for you. To anyone else, thank you for making this game what it is. So if the creators don't put something absurdly powerful against us then it wouldn't make sense for it to challenge us unless we somehow pull a pikachu and go back to the equivalent strength that we were in ARR somehow... we kicked the shit out of something that has wiped out more planets than we could count, could convert people's aether into pure dynamis just by singing
for 7.0 and onwards if the enemy isn't a challenge, then what's the point in fighting? as the Scions said, the lesser enemies such as Primals are the duty of the Grand Companies now. We've done our part.
7.0 gonna debunk all other expansions. It’s the same thing but different directions. Eventhough, you’re powerful and kind. So it will be difficult to fight against odds that you don’t know whether you’re right or not.
In any case, we haven’t done the aftermath of Fandaniel. Eventhough there is no more Dynamis but ppl still can become beasts if they fall into despair. You only need someone to pull the trigger and the story will continue beyond that.
Raubahn's line was the one that got me crying during the walk.. dear lord, hearing it again from it's original cutscene hits twice as hard as it does now. :(
Thank you for your work scavenging through the marathon of cutscenes to pinpoint these excerpts. I was such a blubbering mess that I could only recognize Ardbert, Beq Lugg, and Middie on the first go. I'm surprised that Emet Selch wasn't part of this, but I guess his story closes at the end of Elpis.
The last part of all this walk, Ardbert's voice saying "Let's finish this", and that it's not even a flashback to anything, man... it says more than what it should ;--;
thanks for the tears, the memories, and everything ♥
Actually, Ardbert's last line is from the Heavensward patches. It's what he says when he and the Warriors of Darkness try to murder you before Urianger shows up.
@@eorzeaschampion6513 But then, what's a bit of attempted murder between literal soulmates?
Papalymo and Huarchefant always get me T-T
Fantastic work compiling these together! I'd like to think that these are those moments that are deeply ingrained in the Warrior of Light's (as a character in the story, not as the player) memory and how that was shown was absolutely beautiful.
Oh, this-- this hurts. In a good way, but... damn.
i can never hear the voices without crying i swear, thank you for this!!! i couldn’t quite place some of them :’))
I think Gosetsu should have been mentioned in one of the many flashbacks/callbacks (not just these) throughout EW. He was an amazing character.
This quest made me bawl like a baby, and your video made me cry all over again. 1000/10 ✌😭
That lala is adorable
Again I am left in tears, wanting to hold everyone I met in the journey to get here, in thanks for being here. Everyone is here. Truly.
This is exactly what I wanted there were some lines I couldn't remember exactly where they were from. Thank you for making this
Thank you for making this.. Ive been playing since 2015 and it was kind of hard to place the exact scenes with the voices that spoke. This was a nice little walk down memory lane..
Thank you for your efforts in tracking these down!
Thank you so much for your hard work! I went in expecting pretty much what it said on the label: corresponding scenes to the voices from "the walk"
I was not expecting the feels trip... T_T
Edmont and Paplymo make me sad still, for different reasons
I totally cried during this part of the quest. It just brought everything together beautifully.
I've been playing Final Fantasy all my life, first played Super Nintendo's FF2 and was drawn into the music and story.
If only I could tell the creators thank you for their stories.
R.i.p. Stephen critchlow (Count Edmont de Fortemps)
I've always kept the house fortemps shield glam since hw, and when hearchefant said I wasn't without allies I started weeping
Man i had forgotten some of these scenes. Thank you for the video! 👍
A perfect send off to an amazing story part.
wanted to say a quick thank you for making this video. i come back to it every so often when i need a pick-me-up, and it's just the thing i need. thank you for the effort you put in, and for sharing it! (your lala is very cute btw!)
I have always rewatched the whole story in the journal before every expac so that it was fresh going into the new plot. So I knew all these scenes, I could picture them like my WoL would be remembering them, and oh lord by this point I was so thoroughly emotionally wrecked.
Thank you so much for putting this together. I couldn't recognize a lot of the voice lines from this part and it bothered me immensely
that made the scene even more inpactfulful and totally not tearing up
Thank you! I was WISHING someone would do this!
Someone at SE has been waiting for someone to make this video. 🎉🎉🎉
This part was fantastic and very fitting for the final part of this long story.
The only thing that kinda bothers me is that Lyse didn't get a line
Because most of these are famous and has a meaning of life. Lyse doesn’t have one so do characters from ARR (which none of them has one, especially with the band of heroes and Tataru)
@@dale7326 Okay, valid, but then *WHERE IN THE SALTY FUCKS WAS FEO UL'S LINE?!?!?!?!?! THERE WERE AT LEAST THREE DIFFERENT SUCH ONES TO PICK FROM*
THANK YOU! I managed to remember everyone quoting during that part, mostly because I recognized the voices, but I could not place Papalymo.
Thank you so much! I did this final sequence the other night and felt bad cus I couldn't quite remember every voice or moment!
This is exactly what I was looking for! You even went through the detail of adding where to get them. Thanks for this.
5:56
This will always remain an indelible part of my being.
Thank you so much for the compilation
This might be the greatest ff video created. Thank you! You’ve earned a Sub for compiling these memories! Thank you!!!
I was hoping someone would make a video like this! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this! I only recognized one or two, whether in English or Japanese, and it was so frustrating.
this video is perfect, thank u. i have a university brief for illustration, to make a motivational poster, and i had planned to use a quote from ffxiv because though it's take on life is rather existentialist, it helps me get thru the days where my pain is worst. this video will be a great source for some of the best quotes ❤
I can't even imagine how I would've felt had I stayed the first time
I finished endwalker about a month ish after it released and i havent bawled my eyes more than i did in this moment 😭😭
I came here to place the voice lines, I left crying again. This game. Thank you for making this.
Wow... I always thought the Beq Lugg line was Matoya speaking. Same voice actress, maybe? Really love this compilation. On a side note, when I was a female Lalafell... yours and mine were very similar.
It's heavily implied that Beq Lugg is the First's Matoya, and they do indeed have the same VA. :)
Yea it’s also FF4 or 5 references I think. Less ppl noticed but EW included all the titles tie together from 1 to 14 (except 15 because it’s coming after)
They are either music, character, dialogues, scenarios, combat mechanics, boss design, and secrets. You can see all of that on top of each expansion even 1.0.
It’s a massive task for sure.
Thank you this has been bothering me for so long
Thank you so so much :')
Well, I wasn't expecting to ugly cry again, but here we are.
Omg I'm crying again. 😢 ty for this
I'm not crying, someones just cutting Hau- I mean, cutting onions in here...
May this new Era and journey we embark on henceforth be a good one.
Your Lala is super adorable!
I was not prepared for this 😭
Wow thanks for taking the time for this vid!
Now that is a flashback memory lane
man I'm gonna cry again aaaaaa
omg it's soo good! got me all emotional all over again... so good...
Thank you so much for this.
