    Thanks for this video .I have a 2004 s type R s/c with only hot air coming out of my hvac .could there be more causes causing this problem .I know it's usually the valve but before I replace that I want to sure that's the cause. Many thanks again because I learned a lot from the video

      If you only have hot air from all vents it is likely yo be the valve. It could also be the ecu behind the glove box. If you are in the UK, there are a couple of places that can repair the ecu's. I would suggest replacing the valve first though

    I just did this repair along with a long list of service my car needed. I have a black str . While I was in the area doing the control valve I replaced some hoses and the intercooler pump which is right above he valve . I actually did some modifications as the electrically connector was right on top of the control valve hose . No a good design .

      I blame ford's imput for the poor design lol

      @@MarksWheels , I was hoping you could help with a problem I'm having. I have a vacuum leak I found with a smoke detector . After all the work I did before I put the car back together I vacuum tested and found the throttle position sensor has a stream of smoke comming from under the sensor. Is it possible ? Can't find any information if it could leak air . The EGR, egr tube and throttle body have new gaskets . I'd be really appreciative for the info . Thanks 👍

      How’d you modify the electrical connector?? I’m looking to do this on my S Type R.

    Hello i had the same problem. Replaced with a new aftermarket valve, it works for a while. At the moment i'm washing the coolant system but the heater doesn't work (A/C works!). What can be? can the system become blocked for a washing process? i've done it with distilled water and vinegar

      Ots very easy to get an air lock in these cars. Might be worth rebleeding the air out of the system

    Hi guys hope y'all can help me... so atvthe end you just turn the ignition key on without turnings on the car and the water pump should start working to bleed the hoses?

    • @MarksWheels

      Hi Signia. There are also bleed screw on the charge coolers and a large allen screw next to the supercharger.

    I have a 2007 jaguar S. type it blows hot air do you believe it's the condenser Or what makes that happen .

    • @MarksWheels
      @MarksWheels  3 роки тому

      That could be a lot of things including the control valve, condensor or even the control module. You'd best probably get that checked out

    Hi, I have got a Jag 2.7 Diesel 2005, as I noticed stopping is not precise and the pedal was bit stiff, I took it to the mechanic he changed the break pads and the vacuum pump but still same? what should I do?

    • @MarksWheels

      I would try a smoke test to see if there are any vacuum leaks
