I've always told folks that these f30s with six cylinders are the most spectacular project if done properly: you will literally never need to purchase another vehicle. but they must be done correctly: even the 330d are potent; Excellent work on this superstructure!
Current BMW engines are absolutely insane.
Crazy how the 340i xdrive can handle over 700 Horsepower from a 3700 pound car.. Didn't lose traction once. amazing!!!

The m5 jumped on both runs; lost the 2nd run. Just shows how legendary of a car the 340i is.
The m5 did bog down against the red 340i tho. Not saying it would have won. But it wasn't a clear race.

The m5 can't win with 750hp. The weight slows the pull once moving compared to the 340.

It’s an n55 335i. N55s have a dieselish sound. You can tell by the modified xenon headlights. 340i are LCI.

These people don't know what they're talking about. So much hype over the B58 they don't actually know it has a ton of issues.
Oil filters disintegrating dropping bits of filter into the engine, injector issues and cracked pistons/bore scoring, coolant loss, etc etc. N55 was bashed so hard but people are now making over 700hp on them. Just stay away from the pwg N55's.

its fast! nice, but how reliable these cars are? One of my friend had 340i Xdrive 450hp, after 80 000km engine light and the crank say good bye.
Some make 600hp(engine ) no problem all day just trans go out around 500 . Your friend probably just unlucky
@@itzzztoodah8203 nah his friend starts motor then floor the throttle till oil gets stuck cuz of thickness... that is why it got wrecked in the end and don't tell anything else cuz I have the same engine dude it's relieable as fvck when properly warmed up!
Ive got a 340i f31. Just hitted 103000km
Running 480hp
Never had a isseu daily drive.
Every 10k km going to shop for service.
Had chain done @ 100000km.
Gearbox service ass well. Cause the engine had to come out for chain service. Pnly thinh that broke whas airco pump.
What year was your friends. Bmw 340 xdrive? Just curious cause I’m about to decide if I should get it or not 🤣 and this comment is scarring me alittle just because I want power but I want my car to last more than 80000km(50,000miles)
@harriscapito1555 I have a friend with a 2017 340i with 70k miles on it running stage 2 tune and catless downpipe and he's had zero issues. Changes oil every 5k miles. I personally have a 91k mile m240i on stage 1 and have had no issues with the b58 either.

Yes it is good the engine and car, but the driver is a JUMPER steal the start😉😁 like the m5 driver, fine but with the nissan gtr tunned !!! is NO WORKS for ever for 340i -m3 !!! The start was faked for make this video advertisement promotion bla bla. In a real drag race with times and no jumping starts the supercars like nissan gtr, mclaren, lambo, ferrari etc is other league for sure 🙂
