      @Grant Porch I am very ashamed that there exists such illiteracy of thoughts in India but u need to understand that none of our scriptures promote such things. Rather we have a verse in one of our scriptures roughly translating to "My father is a vaishya, my mother is shudra, my brother is kshatriya and I am brahman" (vaishya - businessman) (shudra - the so called low class) (kshatriya - warrior) (brahman - scholar) In fact these castes were divided on the basis of the profession the individual chooses. However, with time, the so called brahman who were supposed to gain and impart knowledge and wisdom, spread misinformation about the scriptures for their own benefit as they were written in Sanskrit which the common man wasn't able to read.
      And you would be shocked to know that the "Hindu religion" is actually Sanatan dharm. Hindu religion is a term later coined by people who didn't understand our dharm properly

    • @andrewjohnson9014
      @andrewjohnson9014 3 роки тому +4

      @Grant Porch Yes it happens in India. But it was not always this way, your caste is nothing but your profession. However many misinterpretations and misuse of power has destroyed the essence of Hinduism. But Modern India is against such practices and we are trying our best to eradicate them. However only pin pointing India for such practices is wrong. Humans all over the world have done such things. In Europe there were discrimination between nobles and commoners, peasents etc. Muslims have been at each other throats with the sunni and Shea concept since the origin of Islam.
      Social hierarchy have always existed among humans. I am in no way shape or form justifying anything but commenting such harsh words to a guy who is just feeling proud of his ancestors is very wrong. Where are you from and which of India did you visit ?

    I think the sequence goes like this:
    1. Right from the birth, the person should follow Dharma.
    2. The person should have a wish and desire to make her life better (Kama).
    (Don't get confused with Kama vancha which means lust).
    3. Then, after the wish is fulfilled, the person should hold her wealth properly. (Artha)
    4. Then when the person leads a good life, she is free of her worldly pleasures and sensual bondings and realises her spiritual nature. (Moksha)

    First of all comes the dharma which has to be followed. Then, the artha must be gained following the path of Dharma. Then, kama is fulfilled also, by following the path of dharma. After all these, a person attains Moksha, which is the ultimate goal for any human being. So, it's Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha.

    Is this the whole life of humans.nothing in this universe is directly suffering like us.all are from atom to animal they r enjoying life without anything doing.
    Only humans are born for to fullfill the wishes of the business people.they need servents and we r giving them servents pls think??

    • @Bankai_India

      Who said only humans are suffering?
      Suffering is part of any life present on earth. Doesn't animals suffer because of deforestation and global warming caused due to industrialization done by humans? Just because they cannot talk doesn't mean they don't suffer. And when you live in a civilization,transactions of everything is required in order to survive. Be it fulfilling someone else wishes or your own.

      A person opens his eyes to the outside world and sees and understands Artha as the most important means of life. After attaining Artha, he tastes kama. He is soon introduced to dharma when he gets setbacks of artha and kama. After tasting dharma he spends a long time understanding every aspect of dharma which takes most of his life. Moksha is the last point where he sees the glimpses of Supreme from time to time in every aspect of life. One cannot attain Moksha unless he tastes Artha, kama and dharma. This is my opinion.

    Your first explanation understanding is wrong. Purush=Atma(soul). Not body. For this is there is a word "sharir". That's how generation by generation our knowledge get unintentionally manipulate d. So we must learn grammar first. Than only we can know right meaning of word. Because there is different dhatu for name words and kriya (work). Yes by reading half word you can know that it is name or kriya. That's why grammar rules are important.

Bhai kyu? Angrezo se to ye words bole nhi jaate thay theek se for example ram ko ap to ram hi bologe lekin wo log pronounce krte thay RAM which sounds like wo computer waali ram( random access memory) to extra A lga diya har sanskrit word ke aage. Lekin humne kyu continue ki ye practise?? Ganga ko ganges bhi bolte rehte hai kuch pseudo indians. Mze ki baat ye hai ki Abhi mai bolra hu to dus log aa jyenge yha ladne mujhse Lekin yhi baat koi angrez aakr btayega to ekdum maan jyenge. hi Shaktiman. I am not a linguist , but as far as I know the south Indian languages tend to do this. Especially my mother tongue telugu has a tendency to end every word with a vowel. Even our names tend to end with vowels. That's why the Hindi name is Ram, Where as it's Rama in Telugu and Tamil.

    • @shaktimanaaya3664
      @shaktimanaaya3664 8 років тому +1

      +Chiranjeevi Nagam the thing is yes thr is a vowel sound and mainly its an 'a' but thr is no stress on it when u say tht in sanskrit or hindi. like Raam, shyaam, bhagvat Puraan etc. but since the english tounge is not use to say those words properly. because ok let see one example. say Cat. see how the sound ended sharply at T. now lets speak cat like its a Sanskrit word. it should sound like there is an H after T like cath. to convey the fact tht sankrit words dnt end abruptly nd thr is a flow which keeps going and the last word sound merge into a vowel. so basically those are called schwa..if i m right. pls Google tht word Schwa. and the sanskrit word were supposed to look like this raam like Ramā notice the special chractr ā tht i guess is schwa sound. which means the a is not stressed upon bt its thr. but wht weird is tht thr was no need for indian ppl to stress on those extra ā. we started saying Ramaa, kamaa, yogaa etc. like puraan became purana. nw purana if a induan guy wud read he wud say puranaa which means old in hindi. thrs whr it gets wrong
