There is a very (and I do mean very) thin line between science fiction and reality. Floating city's have been seen over the last few years in different parts of the world, some of those flying city's still exists. It's been mentioned the atlantans were originally from a planet called xylanthia, located in the sirius system. Those same beings from sirius were kin to lot of the ancient civilizations that lived in west such as the mayans and so on. So yes, there has indeed been some off world visitation in our earth's history.

i am not deciding weather this is science or pseudoscience. if people on that time were able to even think of such things or as we say were able to imagine such things is itself a big thing. when i look in history of science ,its always based on an idea which look almost impossible and result or theory created on that idea is never accepted by others directly or you can say has a contradiction. that ultimately means science is relative to observers and observations. see millions of things in science are still unexplainable. just directly saying all that was said or believe is false is also not an attitude of science or believer of science.

Have you ever wondered? How long does technology last without the knowledge to create and maintain it?
To prove my point, if today, there occurred a global extinction event, with the human survivors left in a totally primitive state of existence, how would we answer these questions:
(1) How long a time period do you believe the human knowledge and science of all of our modern technology would last? And
(2) How could our technology of today sustain itself over time without the humans that possess the knowledge and science to create the technology and maintain it?
My point is, I believe it’s apparent that within a short time period, probably a few hundred years our technology of today would be forgotten. Worthless and useless in a world unable to produce the raw materials to maintain modern technology, such scientific wonders would rather quickly, simply fade into obscurity.
This is exactly what occurred somewhere around 12- to 15- thousand years ago on this planet. There existed a worldwide civilization that used “free energy” for the many reasons that energy is required in this world. Around the world exists definitive archeological proof that the world was inhabited by an advanced worldwide civilization. That this civilization possessed technology far superior than our own modern-day technologies. For some unknown reason, this worldwide civilization uniformly collapsed and its advanced technologies were destroyed with it or forgotten in the aftermath of this global disaster.

If it makes someone feel good or better off just take their word for it. We don't need to understand every aspect of something to benefit from it.
