This is sad. It's too bad her parents didn't get her away from him when she was a young woman. I had a narcissist of my own who tried to destroy me and I left him 20 years ago. When you reach a point of having had enough and wanting out, you basically have nobody to turn to because the abuser had gotten so many people to be convinced that you are the only one with issues. My good friend made plans for the next day, sent her 9 yr old son off to school, said nothing to no one and hung herself for her husband to find when he got off work… she was also supposed to pick up her son from school. I finally got a no contact/ restraining order from the courts after he attacked me and kicked me while I was on the ground in my job’s parking lot where parents and’s children witnessed. He then sent his psycho friends after me (this was almost a year after the breakup) to slash my tires and stalk me for MONEY! No matter where I moved, he seemed to find me. This went on for 2 years. I have never fully shared this story with my friends or family. It just sounds too unbelievable, but this sh** happens everyday to women (and men) all over the world. LE needs to step it up on domestic abuse/ violence BEFORE someone ends up unalived. This case is so sad and so malicious. My heart truly goes out to Mica and her family for everything they’ve been through and continue to endure. I her last moments of sanity, She left her house for work in a timely manner. Somewhere along that drive to work, i believe she received either a phone call or a message that altered her day. Rather than proceeding directly to work she then goes to a pawn shop. Ordinarily, she would arrive to work on time but this deviation into the pawn shop takes away any chance to make it to work on time. And then she spends the next 20 minutes purchasing a gun. Whatever communication she may have received from the time she left for work and when she got to the pawn shop changed the entire trajectory of the day.
This is one of the main reasons church elders/leaders should not be YES men. It allows all kinds of evil in the very place where Truth and Purity should prevail. Also another good reason why the One Man Show is not safe nor healthy in any regard.
