Each of these vets inside are pure "marshmallows " inside when they are with their precious little patients and they just "melt" and talk all "baby talk " to their patients and not ashamed to show it which is so heartwarming and amazing and inspiring and powerful and gives all such trust in them to care for their babies.
@@matthewcullen1298 that's great so happy to hear from you and about this. It's very rare in my country for some unknown sad reason and distresses me greatly so I've learned to medically care for my own babies 🐾🤗
I've been surprised to see through my own experiences and watching this show (when it's mentioned) the amount of vets that have either lost their love for the job and have become slightly jaded thus not particularly caring towards pets and their owners and then those who were already like that. Why would you enter a profession or stay in one if you don't care anymore. Going to the vet is as equally stressful as humans are to the dentist or the surgeons, just because they can't articulate doesn't mean that it doesn't make it so.
Nathan doesn't get enough credit. Him saying quite calmly that he lost a puppy under anaesthetic, and does not want it to happen to anyone else, so he'll take extra care just melted my heart.
When Barkley's dad spoke of losing their cats and it still hurting, I think we can all relate. Every time I think of my first pet when I was a little girl and every pet I've had since, I still hurt remembering them. But I also thank God for giving them to me for the years they were here.
Mentioned this before but my now 11 year old girl never interacted with our pets. 3 cats and 2 dogs. Just Indifferent. She has autism, high functioning, but social interactions were hard for her. Started watching Bondi vet. After a while she started petting and talking to our pets. I think she had to see how to interact with them. Has to see intense interactions. Love this show.
You can tell these vets are confident when they crack some jokes, Chris just can't help himself when he has such an adorable animal, George was like *you brought her home, not me. I'm not picking up that pee* haha so cute, I love bulldogs, I have a pitbull, I hate the stigma, theyre such good and smart dpgs
I didn't know he adopted George!! That's adorable. In the episode where George was brought in, he went to a foster. That's where I thought he would stay. I'm so happy he ended up with Chris. ❤️
Super upset the owners of the Napoleab chose to re-home their current dog. Rule #1 is the current dog takes priority. Always introduce slowly, keep leads attached and strictly supervise. It took a few months before my puppy and current dog could be trusted to wander around the house on their own without constant supervision. And at first their interactions weren't even five minutes. People underestimate how long the process can take.
100% agree. I don't have dogs, but I have cats. and they are very similar if not more difficult to introduce. I hate when people bring in a new animal to their resident and "let them figure it out." they are animals, 9/10 "figuring it out" does not go smoothly. poor diesel, hopefully the sister can give him the love and forever home he deserves.
They were worried he might hurt a person. You dont know the sisters living situation. Perhaps she lives somewhere and in such a way, that she can keep the dog away from other dogs and people that they just couldnt. It´s not like they just got rid of him because "we have a cute new puppy now!" This was obviously a heartbreaking decision for her, so perhaps you shouldnt judge everyone the same. People rehome for all sorts of reasons.
Here in the US they would not have released Abby (aka Tilly) to the owner until there was full disclosure on her behalf.. for the safety of the dog. For her to say the pup was with a friend in the morning and “something happened” would not have been good enough. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but I expected the owner to be more excited to see her pup but it seemed like she just wanted to get the heck out of there, she didn’t exactly look comfortable with the cameras around. Then again, her story may have been too shady to reveal on family friendly TV. LoL At least she cared enough to retrieve the pup so I shouldn’t be too judgmental. I hope the little critter will be okay moving forward. 😊🌻
I suspect one reason Tilly's owner wasn't more excited was that she was annoyed with the "friend" for putting her in that situation. If I found out someone had borrowed my dog and nearly gotten him killed, my emotions would probably be very complicated. On one hand, the dog is fine and with her again, but, on the other hand, she probably is about ready to kill someone.
You're right, neither her nor the puppy look happy. Everyone knows that puppies are usually the most excited to see their owner. All I saw was sadness. Then she said a friend had her, something happened, they lost her then somehow she ends up in a bag. Furthermore, the "thief" doesn't get charged even though AC was def involved. Yeah right. I bet it was the friend who put it in a bag. Also ppl who usually pick up a stay puppies don't leave them unattended in a plastic bag. Dog should be rehomed.
@@tripsupstairs Exactly. The police would never have returned it to the owner unless they were satisfied that everything was ok. Who knows ‘the friend’ may have been charged. There’s no obligation to report every detail for the tv audience.
15:55 this episode hits close to home for me, I had a kitten that went into the vet for a neuter. I had taken the kitten in the prior week just to make sure everything was good (kitten was developed, healthy weight etc etc) and he got a clean bill of health. The day came and I took him in for his surgery, left the clinic and got a call not 20 minutes later that his heart had stopped on the operating table. The vet things he had a reaction to the anesthetic and before they could be anything he was gone
Sadly it happens all the time, despite some huge progress in pet medicine. The fatality rate for general anaesthesia is still appallingly high at around 0.15%, i.e. one out of six hundred (human medicine 1:100,000 approx) ... and that is after a huge improvement, it used to be a full per cent for a very long time. It should be avoided whenever possible. And the risk increases considerably with baby animals.
In the future I would love to be a vet but I'm still 10 years old and I'm a little scare of blood but this channel is making me in love of animals. Thank you everybody.
As you get older Alice blood want scare you as much so stick to your dream of becoming a vet because if you love animals now that will only get stronger
One suggestion would be to get involved with 4F, (learning about animals and their care), and volunteering with shelters/kennels when older for experience (and possible letter of recommendation).
Don’t get me wrong, blood with no obvious source will always be concerning- as it means that something could be wrong. But as a vet, you can fight the fear with the knowledge that you are helping to stop the bleeding, to help heal the hurt. If you have a bit of free time where you are bored and want to help animals, you could ask your parents or guardians to look into maybe helping a shelter with dog walking/exercising as a volunteer. And once you get a bit older, you could also help socialize some of the animals!
You can never replace the ones you lost. A new pet isn't a replacement, how I feel is that I can't not love an animal. They bring so much love into life :)
Every pet you have you love differently. Your not replacing them, your just giving the new one a safe, stable, secure loving home when they might not have had one otherwise. Each one will have a different piece of your heart and be unique in their own way. When the right one comes along I hope you can find a place in your heart for them.
My pup had the same surgery as Barkley. Some wild dogs got into our yard and attacked my pup. I was panicked. I thought he lost his eye! I yelled for my mom who rushed us to the vet. The vet saw us crying and did his best to comfort us. He said he could tell we love our pup. He did the surgery and our pup came home. Everything worked out really nice. We had too many wild dogs so our pup went to live with a friend on a farm. He had the life!
Maybe just change your vets? I have changed to at least 5 vets 'till i found the right one. Not all vets are good and not all vets are kind. After veteranian is just a job.
Completely irresponsible of owner and breeder to not arrange a meeting between Diesel and new pup before committing. And add to that they would rather keep puppy than the poor pooch they have had for seven years?! Nope. All my sympathy goes to the dogs, and absolutely none to owner. Shamefull.
U would think people would think more about getting another puppy when they already have and older dog I agree with u 💯 % so sad to then have the older one rehoused
Thank you! I said the same on the original video. Poor Diesel gets thrown out of the only home he's ever known in favor of a puppy, it's so sick! That Puppy would very very easily find a loving forever home, meanwhile the 7 yr old Mastiff would not. I don't believe the relative will keep him either. So sad, Diesel didn't deserve that!
I hate people who do that!!! Give up a dog who gave them unconditional love for 7 years in favor of a puppy. My sympathy lies with the dog as well. He didn't deserve that. Those people had no business getting that puppy. (Jan Griffiths).
Well….let’s be glad Diesel wasn’t put down instead…..he is still with the family. I personally wouldn’t be able to trade any animal for a pug….not a fan.
She needs a little bit of grace. The baby hasn’t healed just yet. She needs time and space to make it right for the pup before assessing what to do with both pets. Bull Mastiffs aren’t very friendly to other dogs.
What was she supposed to do in that situation. Try to find a new home for an injured dog or have the injured dog get treated and healed and then sort out what to do?
@@CherryJuli How about sort out what to do WHILE the poor injured dog is healing? I would've been on the phone with possible new owners ASAP. That sweet little pug deserves to be safe.
Speaking of cuteness overload, I just realized who Chris looks like. He’s the Australian, blonde hair, blue eyed version of HENRY CAVILL ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 EDIT: the puppies are cute T❤️❤️❣️❣️❣️
My cavalier got a bad gastro bug a year ago. She was feeling awful and exhausted but still gave the vet a tail wage and little kiss/lick. They are the sweetest dogs, they just want to be friends and show love in every instance.
09:46 If know one knows, Bilbo & George are ANCESTRAL TUXEDOs. A very rare breed of Tuxedo that the gene goes as far back as the Egyptian period ! There are only 6 different coats the particular TUXEDOs have ! I have a FB Page called ANCESTRAL TUXEDOs, if anyone’s interested in learning bout them ! 🐈🐾♥️🌹♥️🐾🐈
I lost 6 dogs while growing up, 2 had to be put down, 2 was given up for adoption, 1 ran away and the last one I don't remember what happened since I was still really young like 5 year old.
She had a choice no way I would get rid of a dog I’ve had for 7 years because of a puppy I’ve had for a couple weeks I would rehome the pup as he wouldn’t know any difference but that 10 year old dog that lost him home of 7 years will forever be traumatised and feel unloved and not good enough 😢
I think Dr Scott has a soft spot for bulldogs. I've seen him interact with a few dogs and that's absolutely what it looks like when you have a soft spot for a dog.
Praise God 🙌🏻 Please pray for me as I've been very ill with a severe upper respiratory infection. I am much better, I missed morning service and hope to be at evening service 🙏🏻
Anyone else like "mmm... your 'friend' didn't 'lose' Tilly because 'something happened'. Your friend was obviously the tweaker who was caught, and i'm not fully convinced you are clean, actually". I can't imagine how hard it is to be a Vet that has to give pets back to people who you suspect are using or are in one of a multitude of other ways, not a great owner. I hope I'm wrong too and just emotionally reacting to wanting to protect the little pup. I hope little Tilly is living a beautiful, safe life.
Our cat also protested with hisses at first when bringing two more dogs home. They were two rough collie sisters and she was already putting up with our pound dog that was a beagle jack mix. A week later she was treating these puppies like her kittens and would get on to them if they would not be still for their grooming from her. One of the collies that we figure out was the runt of the litter by her behavior, still loves to be groomed by the cat and muffin still loves to play grooming mom to her. It is absolutely astonishing to see this cat grooming this big huge dog and it is also absolutely cute and adorable.
Abandoning your dog because he didn't get along with a new dog you forced on him seems like a betrayal to me. The puppy needs to be safe obviously, but that means the puppy should be treated and sent to a better home not abandoning the dog you had first.
No you are wrong about that if animal is having trouble communicating together that means it is not allowed in the house anymore they did the right thing peace yall
I agree. You took a dog you had for 6 years and replaced him with a tiny puppy. And obviously allowed the puppy to annoy him. Then when he responded to another male dog in his space in his face he gets shipped off. He is the dominant male regardless of the puppy being a puppy or smaller. Not cool. Or maybe Diesel is the lucky one. 🤷🏼♀️
@@JarodJackson-n9gno, you're wrong @BankruptMonkey is right. Diesel's owner tried to force poor Napoleon onto poor Diesel & when picking Napoleon up, said that when he is older, she'll try again to get Diesel to be friends with him. That's wrong. Diesel & Napoleon didn't get on & so Diesel was gotten rid of & that is unfair. It's unfair on Napoleon to have his poor little jaw broken, but it's also unfair to force another pet onto Diesel, who might not have minded Napoleon, but probably didn't want anything to do with him. If you think that Diesel being sent away from someone he loves & who he thought loved him is right, then do animals a service & never get a pet. There are other ways to have handled it that didn't involve doing that.
@@JarodJackson-n9g the dog that was there in the first place should be kept and the puppy rehomed. The puppy will easily adjust to a new home... it can be heart breaking for the older dog to be turfed out after so many years. It's not right what they did.

I hate people who do that!!! Give up a dog who gave them unconditional love for 7 years in favor of a puppy. My sympathy lies with the dog as well. He didn't deserve that. Those people had no business getting that puppy. (Jan Griffiths).
Do these seem like the kinds of people who would use a responsible breeder?
Well….let’s be glad Diesel wasn’t put down instead…..he is still with the family. I personally wouldn’t be able to trade any animal for a pug….not a fan.
Yoda looks up so trusting at the vet staff
Scott's children are beautiful.
Bonnie was so sad after seeing her babies leave & that kiss between them all was everything. I cried looking at that
Chris is just so wholesome and good!! Such a sweetheart 💘
They are❤️
@@rawexplorer8373i didn't know Chris identified as a they/them!
Barkley is adorable! How can you not love that squishy, wrinkled face?
George is such a character 🤣 He's definately the boss in that house lol.
Currently in school to be a vet thanks to this show! 💕
I am starting to think of it too :D
I'm sorry but I am laugh-crying at a tiny child being like "SKULL CRUSHER" as what you call a cute fluffy white puppy
He’s adorable,it breaks your heart when you loose a pet ,they make you smile from morning to bedtime
Yoga is a great name for the puppy! He has those cute ears! It’s perfect. I hope the little guy gets better soon!
King Charles spaniels are the cutest thing!
I am not sure why Scott doesn’t get a bulldog himself….he seems to always have a bromance with every bulldog he meets…
Yes! Lol
maybe he worries that his older dog Betty would be scared of a bulldog
Because they have a ton of health issues, I’m sure he knows this better than anyone else lol
Barkley is just the cutest little pup I've ever seen. He's been through a lot. & he has such a big heart
Animals are best and most selfless creatures than humans ❤️🤗 love to All vets specially Dr.Chris 🥰
Dr. Andrew cracked me up too when he said “you now have a Chris Brown jaw”
Tilly the sweet little dog melts my heart and so does Dr.Chris compassionate personality!
I'm marshmallow fluff when it comes to puppies. They're just so smol and innocent and sweet
Me too. I instantly fall in love with every one I see. All baby animals are so precious!
I love that Chris took her home. George will adjust after a bit. Tilly is sweetly adorable.
Did you watch the entire video? Her owner came to pick her up.
These vets are crazy handsome, they can create their own super hero line.
That bulldog puppy was super cute.
Barkley is so cute! So glad the surgery went well!
Scott, your family is absolutely beautiful. The girls are so sweet with the new pup!
The first meeting of the cat and the puppy is just so cute...
Chris your melting ,she’s adorable
The woman who gave up her mastiff for the little pug......after having him for 7 years, jeez! She should have not!
Just hearing the pug squeal in pain broke my heart. Awful owner.
That mastiff is a ticking bomb. Her fault was giving an unstable beast to her sister, imho.
Speaking of cuteness overload, I just realized who Chris looks like.
He’s the Australian, blonde hair, blue eyed version of HENRY CAVILL ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
EDIT: the puppies are cute T❤️❤️❣️❣️❣️
My cavalier got a bad gastro bug a year ago. She was feeling awful and exhausted but still gave the vet a tail wage and little kiss/lick. They are the sweetest dogs, they just want to be friends and show love in every instance.
I love all these vets. They are very caring vets. They fall in love with their patients so easily. Great jobs guys. 💜💜
Tilly is cute. Thank you for taking care of her.Ypur a Angel.
Dr. Chris is such a softy when it comes to cute animals.
Omg I nearly jumped out of my skin when little keko nearly fell of the table
Scott + Barkley = ♥🥰♥
09:46 If know one knows, Bilbo & George are ANCESTRAL TUXEDOs. A very rare breed of Tuxedo that the gene goes as far back as the Egyptian period ! There are only 6 different coats the particular TUXEDOs have ! I have a FB Page called ANCESTRAL TUXEDOs, if anyone’s interested in learning bout them !
🐈🐾♥️🌹♥️🐾🐈
I felt so bad for little Napoleon! It’s a shame how the lady had to loose her other dog. I couldn’t imagine losing mine. Stay safe ❤️
I lost 6 dogs while growing up, 2 had to be put down, 2 was given up for adoption, 1 ran away and the last one I don't remember what happened since I was still really young like 5 year old.
Let’s go, Brandan,no jokes⁉️😖🙅🏼♀️🤷🏼
@@winter1496 aww im sorry that happened to you 💞
She had a choice no way I would get rid of a dog I’ve had for 7 years because of a puppy I’ve had for a couple weeks I would rehome the pup as he wouldn’t know any difference but that 10 year old dog that lost him home of 7 years will forever be traumatised and feel unloved and not good enough 😢
When he asked if she’s okay It sounded like she went mhm and that was adorable
The amazing love you all put into the life of our furbabies. Brilliant!❤❤❤
Barkleys parents seems soo sweet
I think Dr Scott has a soft spot for bulldogs. I've seen him interact with a few dogs and that's absolutely what it looks like when you have a soft spot for a dog.
Praise God 🙌🏻 Please pray for me as I've been very ill with a severe upper respiratory infection. I am much better, I missed morning service and hope to be at evening service 🙏🏻
First puppy is adorable. ❤that kitty is a BSH I’m pretty sure. They’re an expensive pedigree cat. Barclay is a dream puppy. So gorgeous.
I am so happy that cat that was almost killed by owner was adopted. I remember watching that episode.
Gitta love Dr.Chris's witt personality compassion charm bedside manner with his all his patients! 🐱🐶💕💙
All animals are beautiful
The first puppy gets off with a warning due to cuteness. 😆
Chris is just the nicest guy. Perfect Vet❤❤
Thanks Dr. Chris. Not only for helping reunite Tilly with her rightful owner, but leading me down a (so far) 3 hour rabbit hole into early 1900s female Australian crime bosses. Already on episode 3 of Underbelly Razor -- so I guess sleep is a problem for future me 😉
Oh great…thanks a lot 🙄. Now I HAVE to go check out that particular rabbit hole
Liltle yoda soooooooooo cute
Soo sorry for the loss of your beloved pet Nathan 🥺 you are amazing !
"You've got a Chris Brown jaw" just cracked me up! 😄
