    What an amazing plane! The 18-minute flight time and only 46 amps and the landings first landing no flaps . Looks like you and Dave had a blast with this one and Dave in his classic style. Use your right finger and I don't have no right finger. I almost spit coffee all over my table And it floats like a glider. I can't get over how far you went without throttle. Take care guys. Another great video

      Yeah man thanks. It is a very nice flying airplane. We had a lot of fun and you're Welcome for the chuckle. I'm sorry about the coffee.🫣🤣

      Thanks Robert. You know one thing we forgot to talk about and I feel bad for missing it: The ground handling on this plane is REALLY good too. It doesn't want to tip over and fall on it's face every time you think about turning unlike a certain other brand's model in this category.

    It is possible that you may have to shave round the landing gear covers so that is does not rub on the wheels. Mine was and it made the wheels stutter. I put the wing screws in first and the wing struts last when at the field. Also, and in my opinion it does not even need any kind of Gyro. I fly even in high winds with no Gyro. And I only started flying in August. 7 months. I also abused it one time and the wings looked wavy and it wasn’t until I landed that I realized I left the wing tube out! 😂😂😂 It’s a great plane!

    Nice maiden flight gents. Looks great in the sky. This is a great plane for us older guys whose coordination is not what it used to be. Nice flying skills and great job Dave on the camera work. Keep up the good work.

    I have this plane. Been thinking about selling it because now I have a mamba 120, but it just flies so good that I haven’t been able to let it go. Plus I have it rigged up with cameras and I fly it like a 3-D plane 😂 I recommend it for a third plane because at first it is intimidating.

    This airplane is a cupcake. It flies fantastic. It's a superb trainer, No bad tendencies, The size is Perfect,
    It can be disassembled and put back in the box in minutes, It has an insane glide ratio. Yet on landing it does not want to float forever. You can pull back on the elevator and it still settles down nicely on the mains, what a nice airplane.

      There’s an orange and white version. I like this green. Very contrasty in the sky.

    Is the nose gear sturdy or fragile for beginners? Can you strengthen it?

    • @RCVideoReviews
      @RCVideoReviews  2 місяці тому

      The nose gear seems perfectly appropriate for the job. You can generally strengthen anything if you really want. You could remove the oleo and replace it with a solid piece of metal. The problem you have doing that kind of thing is that if you impart energy to a device, SOMETHING has to dissipate the energy. So if you decide to strengthen the gear, now your excess energy has to be dissipated by the fuselage. Just something to think about....

I love the plain I just have to keep rebuilding it i’m shore i’m doing something wrong any tips.

      Did you check the CG?

    • @davidpaker626
      @davidpaker626 2 місяці тому

      Hello, my suggestion would be make it more nose heavy, which would be around 25% of Mac.
      That means divide the wing core in 4 and take your C. G at the first quarter of the wing, I hope that makes sense. Once you do that
      Take off and just fly as much as you can as slow as you can without losing altitude. And obviously do it a few mistakes too high. If the plane is a little bit nose heavy, it becomes more stable on the pitch axes.
      So that would be a starting point, I hope this helps. 🙂

    • @bigfhands
      @bigfhands 2 місяці тому

      Yes I check and reached the GC I even made a GC balancer to verify, my problem with CG is how do i know when it’s balancing correct should the elevator be level with with the wing or below the wing.

    • @davidpaker626
      @davidpaker626 2 місяці тому

      Hello, for the purpose of this conversation only. for you to have a reference Point, a starting point when you balance your airplane At 25% of Mac, get the stabilizer As close to parallel with the floor as you can because the stabilizers usually have 0° Incidents angle, they are usually parallel with the center line of the fuselage of the airplane. That would be a starting point for you. On this type of airplane The balance envelope is Usually between 25 and 33% of Mac. On this type of airplane's The 25% is the most forward CG, which would make it slightly nose heavy, more stable on the pitch Axis . 25% of Mac would be measuring the wing core at the route. Divide it in 4 and Balance your airplane from that first quarter. This is a starting point . Adjust as needed from there on. As a note, do not use this information.On other airplanes, this information is specifically for this type of airplane only.I hope this helps you out.

    • @kmatch1
      @kmatch1 2 місяці тому +1

      If balance is good, which is likely, you either describe a drop in airspeed or a possible gyro issue. Make sure the gyro is mounted solid and increase your airspeed and try again. Try it without any gyro and see if it improves.
