I'm just now noticing that season 6's premiere mirrors season 1's premiere. In season 1's premiere, Sam was living a normal life, Dean was still in the hunter life, Dean comes to get Sam to help him find John and they end working a case together, and Dean tried to convince Sam to continue hunting with him, but Sam decided he wanted to continue his normal life. Now in season 6's premiere, everything is switched. Dean is living a normal life, Sam is continuing in the hunter life, Sam comes to save Dean and they end up working a case together, Sam tries to get Dean to come back to being a hunter, but Dean decides to stay with Lisa and Ben. Neither Bobby nor Dean is wrong about the telling/not telling Dean that Sam was alive. I understand why Bobby didn't tell Dean because he saw that for once in Dean's life, he finally has some sort of content, and he didn't want to disrupt that. On the other hand, Dean has a right to be upset. As he said, he was a mess thinking that his brother was still in the pit, and he searched for weeks trying to find a way to get him out. And let's say Dean did find a way, then something worst would've happened. What Hallucination Azazel said was right: "You can't outrun your past." And that's why I always found it interesting that nothing came for Dean for a whole year. This is a man that I'm sure has racked up enemies spanning across different types of monsters, and nothing tried to attack him, Ben, or Lisa? Especially while he was at his most vulnerable?
Eric Kripke is still an executive producer and consultant for this season (and moderately for the rest of the show, but much more disconnected beyond this season). He actually does write/co-write at least one episode during this season.
Dean is the most selfless person ever. Everything he does, he does out of love. He is the most caring person. The whole 15 seasons this man didn't care about what happens to him but only about Sam and Sam only so whoever calls him selfish probably don't know what selfish means 🤷

Cuz technically Dean’s had a few selfish MOMENTS, like any human, but it’s way less than Sam, and less than many of the ppl he has to deal with. the boyz both have sacrificed for each other, cuz they love each other. But in the end Dean’s the one with the pure motives and the the end, he always stays true. Sam - at any given time, he may or may not do anything to save Dean, whether being alive or just well, but with Dean, we all know that we don’t have to doubt his desire to save Sam, not for a second. I don't need to go back to season 8 or 9 because I think those were some of his most selfish moments. He's still listed as one of the main writers for the rest of the show, since he's the goat, but for now, it's her. The way they compared Dean's current life to his old hunter life was pretty cool. Shows that even though he looks happy on the outside, it's likely just a facade. How can you not feel for Dean, when he still tries to be a hero, even though he quit the hunter life? I always feel for this man. The Azazel hallucination was trippy. It is cool that we got the actor back for those moments. Imagine how nuts it must be for Dean to wake up seeing Sam after supposedly seeing the dead demon who ruined your life. I'd be pissed too if my "dead" brother was back in the living after being back for a whole year, basically not dead at all. Damn. Yeah, I didn't really fuck with the new family members when they were brought in. It was cool to get Samuel back, but the others were kinda meh, to me. Speaking of Samuel, it's a little odd that he was brought down from Heaven around the same time Sam was brought up from Hell. Coincidence? In Supernatural? Never. I feel like the last djinn episode was better. To be fair, this was a premiere, so it can't entirely focus on the MOTW, but I loved that episode. I always love to see Bobby back, even if he knew about Sam being back the whole time without contacting Dean. Awkward. Dean had every right to confront Sam and Bobby about lying to, or rather hiding everything from him. Poor man. How dare Mark imply that Dean Winchester is unprofessional. He may have been out of the game for a minute, but this is still the same man that has been saving people, hunting things, and looking after Sammy his whole life. Yeah, unprofessional my ass. That was fucked up seeing Lisa and Ben go through what Mary and Sam went through, even just as an illusion. There is no logical reason why Samuel didn't kill the djinn without it being suspicious in any way. And of course, Sam and Dean have to split up again, because what is a show that has as good a brotherly relationship as this, without some drama here and there, everywhere? Just a quick thing, all cats don’t land on their feet. They can actually get hurt, tear things and have to see the vet or even have surgery. But you did that very slowly and it’s not that high so it should be fine
I was upset with Sam and Bobby. Dean brought up a lot of good points and it really was fair on Lisa and Ben because Dean didn’t really want to be there and was essentially fake it till you make it but with enough baggage and trauma to fill a cargo ship.

Deans not a normal hunter either, demons and angels all know Dean and Sam. Their lives are way more dangerous than other regular hunters. Also John didn’t know spn when he was with Mary

I mean to be fair he knows what's going to happen in season 6 I don't know if he knows what's going to happen in other seasons but he has more knowledge about supernatural then they have combined.
From here on out it basically becomes a Buffy the Vampire Slayer type thing where every season is kind of its own. There's certainly overarching things but the storytelling isn't quite as epic. My favorite seasons after 5 are 6,7,10,11.
See Samuel’s attitude toward Dean is so rude. He’s upset with Dean because they’ve been dealing with a bunch of shit, but it was their decision to keep Dean out. That’s like getting made at someone for not rushing into a burning building when you made them unable to tell the building was burning in the first place.
Oh cats landing on their feet is an interesting thing. Obviously results may vary and age and weight can play a factor, but on average the higher a cat falls the better it is for the cat. Shorter falls may end up causing more harm because of the fall process a cat goes through.

After Season 6, Kripke is no longer directly involved with the series, although he is listed in the credits as "executive consultant." I wish you a very quick watch of seasons 6 and 7 (the Sera Gamble era) to start watching for the Jeremy Carver era, which includes seasons 8-11. Jeremy himself has been a writer for the series since season 3 and has been a very important person on the Kripke team.

From here on out it basically becomes a Buffy the Vampire Slayer type thing where every season is kind of its own. There's certainly overarching things but the storytelling isn't quite as epic.
My favorite seasons after 5 are 6,7,10,11.
season's 4 and 5 are my favourite season's, especially season 5. i also like seasons 7 and 8. and also 10 but i forget what i like about it

See Samuel’s attitude toward Dean is so rude. He’s upset with Dean because they’ve been dealing with a bunch of shit, but it was their decision to keep Dean out. That’s like getting made at someone for not rushing into a burning building when you made them unable to tell the building was burning in the first place.
Dean was so betrayed by that year.
Oh cats landing on their feet is an interesting thing. Obviously results may vary and age and weight can play a factor, but on average the higher a cat falls the better it is for the cat. Shorter falls may end up causing more harm because of the fall process a cat goes through.

Not really. Eric Kripke is the executive producer of season 6 and the writer of s6x22e. After Season 6, Kripke is no longer directly involved with the series, although he is listed in the credits as "executive consultant." I wish you a very quick watch of seasons 6 and 7 (the Sera Gamble era) to start watching for the Jeremy Carver era, which includes seasons 8-11. Jeremy himself has been a writer for the series since season 3 and has been a very important person on the Kripke team.
