Lisa is basically in a healthy relationship with a soldier. Soldiers get sent out overseas and they still manage to have relationships and/or family. It's difficult, and take a special people to handle those strains
But seriously, "white knuckling it" is a common phrase meaning "barely hanging on"; in essence, your holding on so tight that your knuckles turn white
Also, fidelity is loyalty and faithfulness which would make infidelity the opposite. It doesn't necessarily mean being monogamous or not, but infidelity is often used when someone wants to step-out in a relationship
On a more nerdy note, the symbol for fidelity is a dog. Often in painting and other media, sleeping dog means the person or couple in the picture are unfaithful. Where as an alert & happy dog means a faithful, happy relationship
“If they were parents” Dean is obviously the mom. He already helped raise Sam in a motherly capacity (the series isn’t even particularly subtle in his comparisons to Mary). The series even occasionally outright calls Dean a mom, like at one point in later seasons, and Dean canonically follows mommy blogs.

I love seeing Dean in dad mode, and despite what Sam said and what Dean thinks, he's not being like John. If anything, he's trying to break the cycle and do things with Ben that John never did with him (i.e. be there for him, let him be a kid, not raising him as a hunter). That to me, is far from being anything like John.
I never understood why they brought Samuel back. Sam being back makes sense, but Samuel is just the most random choice out of any character to be brought back. And don't get me wrong, I think it's cool that we get to meet more of Mary's side of the family, and Gwen seems to be the most likeable out of the Campbells, but why they chose to bring Samuel back is beyond me.
Despite fans being against Dean going back to Lisa, and trust me I'm one of the ones who felt like he should've went back to Cassie, she's actually good for him. She took him in and took care of him when he was at his emotional and mental lowest. Lisa loves Dean for who he is, what he is, flaws and all and she understands the hunter lifestyle and how that's such a big part of Dean. That's what he needed: love, care, and understanding and Lisa provided that and gave him an instant family with Ben.
To be honest I think if they had hired a stronger actor to play Cassie they would have went down that route. I agree though Lisa won me over.
@@kimberleyrigg7503 I don't think it had anything to do with Megalyn's (Cassie) acting ability, I think she was working on other projects at the time. But even if she was available, I still think they would've went the Lisa route because of Ben.
You could take Samuel out of SPN & nothing would change tbh, which is a sign of bad writing /=

I think Dean is more of a mother figure than a father figure. He had to raise Sam and nurture him. And the times when Dean and Sam have the most strife is when Dean acts like John to him. Dean Mary Winchester is def more of a mother figure. 😂

So excited for next episode. It’s one of my favorites, if you think the plot is deep right now, oh boy is it gonna be fun in episode 3. One of the funniest characters to ever grace supernatural is coming up and I am so excited to see y’all’s reactions!
15:27 see, what’s so cool is that hunters may not have know about baby shapeshifters, we the viewers did but it flew under our radar.
In the episode Monster Movie the shapeshifter says:
“Real" is being born this way. Different. "Real" is having your dad call you "monster" -- it's the first time you hear the word. And he tries to beat you to death with a shovel. Everywhere I ran, everywhere I tried to hide, people found me, dragged me out, attacked me. Called me "freak," called me "monster.” …
The character literally mentions being born that way, growing up and experiences he’s had during childhood.
White knuckling is having so much tension that your gribbing so tight and your knuckles turn white.
Honestly the only ressurection I remember wanting at this stage is Adam. To bring back Mary would undo the main characters inciting incident and their past trauma. Theres rules in writing about not doing that.

White knuckling (according to urban dictionary) is when you're taking a situation as it comes and flying by the seat of your pants. Often attributed to anxiety, and feelings either good or bad. A reference to clinging fiercely to something, such as a rope, to the point where ones knuckles would turn white from forcing blood from the capillaries.. when you hold onto something tightly, like a steering wheel, for a long time, your knuckles turn white..
The direct relative thing in medicine is in organ transplants esp. kidneys, and it's because they are reasonably likely to be a donor match. There are limiting factors in blood transfusion but those are more to do with typing as you said as well as diseases and viruses.

Fatherhood is kind of a social role, I usually specify biological father if I mean blood. Step-dads are dads, divorce and remarriage are healthy things.

Some people will hate anyone who has a romantic involvement with either brother, especially the Wincest fans. I like Lisa, although I think she and Dean never had a chance of happiness. She and Ben are great characters.

Dean was traumatized by his childhood and doesn’t understand how Ben could find it cool. However, just because he’s been hurt doesn’t give him the right to pass that trauma on by ineffective communication.

If SPN had ended with "Swan Song" Lisa wouldn't have come back, that's why they never mentioned her/built up Dean's relationship to her until 5x17.
They were renewed & scrambling to change the ending enough for s6 to be possible (this is also why Adam was brought back)
Originally Dean was going to say yes to Michael & BOTH Sam & Dean were going to end up in the Cage. Kripke said he wanted SPN to have a "horror story ending" and not a "happy ending"

While I don’t know if Angelina Jolie did each adoption 100% legit, there are many people in international adoptions who either intentionally (famous people who try and bend/break the adoption rules) or unintentionally (regular people who adopt children that are still wanted by their families but are lied to about the circumstances).
That’s not even taking into account the legit adoptions where the parents don’t take care of US citizenship, have unrealistic expectations for the adopted children or don’t keep their children’s birth cultures in mind which can cause an identity crisis later on and all the children in America that also need loving homes.
Nathan is wrong John didn't bring the guys in Mary claimed she wanted out but went to help Libby's getting on Azazel's radar resulting in a deal causing Mary's death and the boys getting into hunting.
Rewatch season ender and season 2 ender where Azazel admits if John didn't train them Azazel would force them into training by John. At least Sam.
