WHY MOST NEW AGENTS FAIL:
1. Not willing to work hard enough.
From webinar comment: "This sounds more and more difficult than I thought and more work than expected!"
2. Not willing to face fear.
Greatest fear is the fear of the unknown.
So they give up way to easily.
3. Lack of effective guidance.
Try to figure it out on their own.
(looking for cheapest way...no real mentorship or coaching.
Ask other agents just as lost as they are.
And worst is they look for guidance from social media and youtube.
HOW TO GUARANTEE SUCCESS:
I got lucky…looking for #1 office and I had no Plan B.
Invest in the best coach.
Work your butt of to become the best.
Determine to succeed no matter what.
Face fear of unknown…get comfortable being uncomfortable.

Just discovered you and you hit home. I am in small town Montana. Left my 30 year career with the Army and as a DoD contractor with no savings. I joined the market share owner, big name company, lowest splits in town, broker has his own team. Great training ( as brokers should do) but I am 4 months in and nada! Going to binge your videos! I found you because I was watching a presentation on FSBO open houses. Did not seem logical so when I googled it I found you! Now back to binging😁

Spot on, Kevin. I am doing ISA work to basically test this as a career path. You are right on all counts. I would say to anyone thinking of real estate -- do your due diligence first before you jump in feet first!

I agree with everything that was said, but I think another one is lack of financial planning. I think a lot of new agents don't realize the costs and if they were told upfront during real estate classes, it might prompt them to create a financial plan and have 6 months of living expenses and initial start-up savings before jumping in.

Hey Kevin, love your channel and purchased The Book of Yes and will join your agent launch program soon as I'm an American in Asia moving back home soon and intend to become an agent. However, one of the things that I keep thinking about with all the information I'm consuming is the nuts and bolts of real estate, such as performing CMAs, net sheets, and other contractual items. Are these simple matters explained by brokerages? Feel like my confidence is building as I study for the Texas exam and internalize your scripts, but kind of feel like I'm getting out over my skis.

I just cannot get momentum in getting listings and mandates. So I am definitely doing a lot things wrong. How do I fix it please?

Hi Kevin, great video! The fear that I have is rejection. I want to call fsbos and expired but fsbos are known to be very difficult and rude so that kinda scares me. A coach in my office is telling me to use the buyer script instead of your question based one. She said they’re not gonna stay on the phone for that long to answer the questions. But the buyer script makes me uncomfortable. It’s like lying to them and you said to never B.S them.

Jennifer just do the preview method. It works for me. Been licensed for 2 months and have 3 listings and 2 buyers. Preview method is the opposite approach

I have been planning to do your 66 day transformation, but now I am wondering in I should do the agent power launch program instead. It’s been two years, how’s it been going now?
I’m so glad Ive found you, I’m currently 18 working but rn only have $100 on my wallet. I used to be ones of those think fast and not on the long run hence why I have as much. With corona virus cursing the lands of U.S me being one of the victims rlly fucked me up, I was once a chitter chatter but the funny ones and knowing how to talk to people, now it’s completely opposite lol.My life was like a rollercoaster of emotions I thought I would never have in my mf life, that hurt me and does around me. Took me time to get into real estate changing my whole course of being an Automotive Technician, I’ve become more wise and open minded but cautious. I’ve liked to believe what has happened through May 5/20 was God’s will to put a Real estate ad on my “Funny Hood Vines video” I’m not playing but that’s because I was watching Here in my garage being a meme.
Now just recently bought The BRRRR by David Greene book and trying to study it and watch as many UA-cam Real Estate videos ones that actually look like they know what they’re talking about. I’m a 18 yr baby coming into this hoping to succeed because failure is not an option, my family is counting on me.

just get a good mentor at the brokerage you join and they will go through a practice one start to finish with you! You got this!
For me leaving a stable career is my fear. I want to change careers and become more successful. Work does not scare me and im a people person. I was in law enforcement i had to be. Any advice to help me take the plunge would be great.

you got this! Join a brokerage who offers a mentor that is readily available and went through mentor training! My group does a lot of online training if you want to chat, but otherwise you can do it! You can always change brokerages if it isn't the right fit for you! thats what I had to do and now im happy

Interview couple mentors before you make any decisions. The best mentor would be from your own brokerage. Never from online.
