Good info. I just ordered the Navionics Plus East Region. The detail is much better than the current Lowrance Insight Pro card I currently have in my Elite Ti2.
I have a 34’ cabin cruiser and a couple go fast boats that I take inland lakes, Great Lakes, and salt water. Sucks they don’t have a platinum + for everythung
Just bought the Navionics+ charts for my Humminbird 597 ci hd. The unit kept turning off when charts were loading. Still troubleshooting. Hoping if I select a smaller area it will load properly. I bought the fish finder used. Any other suggestions?
It works on all major brands except Garmin (they are built in to the units in that case). It also depends on how old the units are and what model they are. Most of the time the answer is yes.
There is a lake that I fish that if 40 acres, and on the NAvionics App and chart viewer there is data for the lake. But when I purchased my Navionics plus card for my fish finder, this lake has zero data. Do you know how to solve this?
Of course detail varies from lake to lake based on which fisheries are surveyed the most. I hope I was at least able to clarify the choices a little, but yes, I understand that it can be confusing. If I could offer one card that would just get you the best bang for your buck, and you can just plug it in and go, it would be the Navionics+ regions card. Buy that card for your specific region, plug it in your unit, turn SonarCharts on and just get to fishing.

Does it work in all locators?

And the 3D imageries work on any fish finder? I have a hook2 9ts
Very informative video, however...I was just on Navionics website and I found that Hot Maps Platinum is NOT compatible with Ti2? Is this accurate?
Lol, that is false! It is compatible
Do these cards have detail river , all the above?
Can I just sign up for card updates if my cards are 3-5 years old?

All very confusing. And the actual detail on Navionics is very poor
